< Psalms 5 >

1 To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my (meditation)
David ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. Woadzii kple kpẽ. O! Yehowa, ɖo to nye nyawo, eye nàse nye hũɖeɖe.
2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
Fianye kple Mawunye, ɖo to nye ɣlidodo, elabena wòe mele gbe dom ɖa na.
3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct [my prayer] unto thee, and will look up.
O! Yehowa, le ŋdi me la, àse nye gbe; le ŋdi me la, matsɔ nye biabiawo aɖo ŋkuwò me, eye manɔ lalam kple mɔkpɔkpɔ.
4 For thou [art] not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
Menye Mawu si kpɔa dzidzɔ le vɔ̃ ŋutie nènye o; wò la, ame vɔ̃ɖiwo mate ŋu anɔ gbɔwò o.
5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Ɖokuiŋudzelawo mate ŋu atsi tsitre ɖe ŋkuwò me o; elabena èlé fu nu vlo wɔlawo katã.
6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
Ètsrɔ̃ aʋatsokalawo; Yehowa tsri hlɔ̃dolawo kple ameblelawo.
7 But as for me, I will come [into] thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: [and] in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
Ke nye ya, mava wò aƒe me to wò nublanuikpɔkpɔ gã la me. Matsɔ bubu ade ta agu ɖe wò gbedoxɔ kɔkɔe la ŋgɔ.
8 Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
Kplɔm, O! Yehowa, le wò dzɔdzɔenyenye nu le nye futɔwo ta, eye wɔ wò mɔwo dzɔdzɔe le ŋkunye me.
9 For [there is] no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part [is] very wickedness; their throat [is] an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
Womate ŋu axɔ nya siwo doa go tso woƒe nu me la ɖeka pɛ hã dzi ase o, woƒe dzi yɔ fũu kple gbegblẽ. Woƒe ve me le abe yɔdo si le ʋuʋu ɖi la ene, eye wotsɔa woƒe aɖe gblɔa alakpanyawoe.
10 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.
O! Mawu, bu fɔ wo! Na be woƒe ayemɔwo naƒu wo anyi. Ɖe wo ɖa le woƒe nu vɔ̃ gbogboawo ta, elabena wodze aglã ɖe ŋuwò.
11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
Ke na ame siwo si wò tso la nakpɔ dzidzɔ, eye na be woadzi ha kple dzidzɔ tegbee. Keke wò ametakpɔkpɔ ɖe wo dzi, ale be ame siwo lɔ̃ wò ŋkɔ la natso aseye le mewò.
12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as [with] a shield.
O! Yehowa, èyraa ame dzɔdzɔewo vavã, eye nètsɔa wò amenuveve ƒoa xlã wo abe akpoxɔnu ene.
