< Psalms 48 >
1 A Song [and] Psalm for the sons of Korah. Great [is] the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, [in] the mountain of his holiness.
Kora mma dwom. Awurade yɛ kɛseɛ na ɔsɛ nkamfo wɔ yɛn Onyankopɔn kuropɔn mu, ne bepɔ kronkron so.
2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, [is] mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
Kuropɔn no ɔsorokɔ yɛ fɛ, ɛyɛ ewiase nyinaa anigyedeɛ. Bepɔ Sion te sɛ Safon sorɔnsorɔmmea, Ɔhene Kɛseɛ no kuropɔn.
3 God is known in her palaces for a refuge.
Onyankopɔn te nʼabankɛsewa mu. Wada ne ho adi sɛ ɔyɛ nʼaban.
4 For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.
Ɛberɛ a ahemfo yi boaa wɔn ho ano, na wɔtuu ɔsa bɔɔ mu no,
5 They saw [it, and] so they marvelled; they were troubled, [and] hasted away.
wɔhunuu no ma ɛyɛɛ wɔn ahodwirie, na wɔde ehu dwaneeɛ.
6 Fear took hold upon them there, [and] pain, as of a woman in travail.
Nketenkete kyeree wɔn wɔ hɔ, ɔyea a ɛte sɛ ɔbaa a awoɔ aka no.
7 Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.
Wosɛee wɔn sɛ Tarsis ahyɛn a apueeɛ mframa abɔ adwira wɔn.
8 As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. (Selah)
Sɛdeɛ yɛate no, saa ara na yɛahunu wɔ Otumfoɔ Awurade kuropɔn no mu, yɛn Onyankopɔn kuropɔn mu; Onyankopɔn ma ɛtim hɔ afebɔɔ.
9 We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
Wʼasɔredan no mu, Ao Onyankopɔn, na yɛdwene wo dɔ a ɛnsa da no ho,
10 According to thy name, O God, so [is] thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
Ao Onyankopɔn, wʼayɛyie duru asase ano te sɛ wo din; tenenee ayɛ wo nsa nifa mu ma.
11 Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.
Sion bepɔ di ahurisie, Yuda nkuraase no ani gye ɛsiane wʼatemmuo no enti.
12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.
Nante Sion na twa ho hyia, kan nʼabantenten dodoɔ,
13 Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell [it] to the generation following.
dwene nʼafasuo ho yie, hwɛ nʼabankɛsewa no, na woaka ho asɛm akyerɛ nkyirimma.
14 For this God [is] our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide [even] unto death.
Saa Onyankopɔn yi yɛ yɛn Onyankopɔn daa daa; mpo ɔbɛyɛ yɛn kwankyerɛfoɔ akɔsi awieeɛ.
