< Psalms 48 >
1 A Song [and] Psalm for the sons of Korah. Great [is] the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, [in] the mountain of his holiness.
Korah ƒe viwo ƒe ha. Yehowa lolo, eye eya koe dze kafukafu le míaƒe Mawu la ƒe du me, le eƒe to kɔkɔe la dzi.
2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, [is] mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
Zion to la kɔkɔ henya kpɔ ale gbegbe, eye wònye dzudzɔdonu na anyigba blibo la. Fia gã la ƒe du, si le abe Zafon to kɔkɔe la ene.
3 God is known in her palaces for a refuge.
Mawu le eƒe fiasãwo me, eye wòɖe eɖokui fia abe eƒe mɔ sesẽ ene.
4 For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.
Fiawo ƒo woƒe aʋakɔwo nu ƒu, hezɔ ɖe edzi ɖekae,
5 They saw [it, and] so they marvelled; they were troubled, [and] hasted away.
ke esi wokpɔe la, woƒe nu ku, ŋɔdzi lé wo eye wosi dzo.
6 Fear took hold upon them there, [and] pain, as of a woman in travail.
Dzidzi ƒo wo, eye wose veve abe nyɔnu si le ku lém la ene.
7 Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.
Egbã wo gudugudu abe ale si ɣedzeƒeya gbã Tarsis tɔdziʋuwo ene.
8 As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. (Selah)
Abe ale si míese ene la, nenemae míekpɔe le Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la kple míaƒe Mawu la ƒe du mee. Mawu na wòanɔ dedie tegbetegbe. (Sela)
9 We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
O! Mawu, míedea ŋugble le wò lɔlɔ̃ si meʋãna o la ŋu le wò gbedoxɔ me.
10 According to thy name, O God, so [is] thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
O! Mawu, wò kafukafu de keke anyigba la ƒe mlɔenu ke abe wò ŋkɔ ene. Wò nuɖusi ɖua fia le dzɔdzɔenyenye me.
11 Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.
Zion to kpɔ dzidzɔ, eye Yuda ƒe kɔƒewo le aseye tsom le wò afiatsotso ta.
12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.
Mizɔ Zion to la ŋu godoo, mizɔ ƒo xlãe, eye mixlẽ eƒe xɔ tsralawo,
13 Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell [it] to the generation following.
ne miakpɔ kpo si woƒo ɖe eƒe gliwo ŋu. Mikpɔ eƒe fiasãwo nyuie ne míatsɔe atu xoe na dzidzime si gbɔna,
14 For this God [is] our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide [even] unto death.
elabena Mawu siae nye míaƒe Mawu tso mavɔ me yi ɖe mavɔ me; eyae anye mía kplɔla yi ɖase ɖe nuwuwu.
