Psalms 41
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Blessed [is] he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
সংগীত পরিচালকের জন্য। দাউদের গীত। ধন্য সেই ব্যক্তি, যে দীনহীনদের জন্য চিন্তা করে; সংকটের দিনে সদাপ্রভু তাদের উদ্ধার করেন।
2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; [and] he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
সদাপ্রভু তাকে রক্ষা করেন আর জীবিত রাখেন— তিনি তাদের দেশে তাদের সমৃদ্ধি দেন— সদাপ্রভু তাকে তার শত্রুদের ইচ্ছায় সমর্পণ করেন না।
3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
সদাপ্রভু রোগশয্যায় তাকে বাঁচিয়ে রাখবেন এবং অসুস্থতার বিছানা থেকে তাকে সুস্থ করবেন।
4 I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
আমি বলি “হে সদাপ্রভু, আমার প্রতি দয়া করো; আমাকে সুস্থ করো, কারণ আমি তোমার বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করেছি।”
5 Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
আক্রোশে আমার শত্রুরা আমার সম্বন্ধে বলে, “কখন তার মৃত্যু হবে ও তার নাম লুপ্ত হবে?”
6 And if he come to see [me], he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; [when] he goeth abroad, he telleth [it].
যখন তাদের মধ্যে কেউ আমাকে দেখতে আসে, সে হৃদয়ে আমার সম্বন্ধে কুৎসা সঞ্চয় করে এবং মুখে মিথ্যা বলে, পরে সে চলে যায় এবং এসব সর্বত্র রটিয়ে দেয়।
7 All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
আমার শত্রুরা সবাই মিলে আমার বিরুদ্ধে ফিসফিস করে; তারা আমার অনিষ্ট কল্পনা করে, আর বলে,
8 An evil disease, [say they], cleaveth fast unto him: and [now] that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
“সর্বনাশা এক ব্যাধি তাকে আক্রমণ করেছে; সে তার রোগশয্যা ছেড়ে কখনও উঠতে পারবে না?”
9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up [his] heel against me.
এমনকি আমার ঘনিষ্ঠ বন্ধু, যাকে আমি বিশ্বাস করেছিলাম, এবং যে আমার খাবার ভাগ করে খেয়েছিল, সে আমার বিপক্ষে গেছে!
10 But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
কিন্তু তুমি, হে সদাপ্রভু, আমার প্রতি দয়া করো, আবার আমাকে সুস্থ করো, যেন আমি তাদের প্রতিফল দিতে পারি।
11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
আমি জানি যে তুমি আমার প্রতি প্রসন্ন, কারণ আমার শত্রু আমার উপর বিজয়ী হয় না।
12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
আমার সততার কারণে তুমি আমার জীবন বাঁচিয়ে রেখেছ, আমাকে তোমার উপস্থিতিতে চিরকালের জন্য নিয়ে এসেছ।
13 Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
ধন্য সদাপ্রভু ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর, অনাদিকাল থেকে অনন্তকাল পর্যন্ত।
