Psalms 29

1 A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Dawid dwom. Momfa mma Awurade no, Ao ɔsoro abɔdeɛ, momfa animuonyam ne tumi mma Awurade.

2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Momfa animuonyam a ɛfata Awurade din mma no; monsɔre Awurade wɔ nʼanimuonyam kronkron mu.

3 The voice of the LORD [is] upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD [is] upon many waters.

Awurade nne wɔ nsuo no so; animuonyam Onyankopɔn bobom, Awurade bobom wɔ nsuo akɛseɛ so.

4 The voice of the LORD [is] powerful; the voice of the LORD [is] full of majesty.

Awurade nne mu wɔ tumi; Awurade nne mu wɔ animuonyam.

5 The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

Awurade nne bubu ntweneduro; Awurade nne bubu Lebanon ntweneduro mu nketenkete.

6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

Ɔma Lebanon hurihuri te sɛ nantwie ba, na Sirion nso sɛ ɛkoɔ ba.

7 The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

Awurade nne pa ma anyinam ogya dɛre

8 The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

Awurade nne woso ɛserɛ so; Awurade woso Kades serɛ.

9 The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of [his] glory.

Awurade nne kyinkyim adum na ɛma kwaeɛ yɛ kwaterekwa. Nʼasɔredan mufoɔ nyinaa team ka sɛ, “Animuonyam nka Onyankopɔn!”

10 The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

Awurade di ɔhene wɔ nsuyire so; wɔasi Awurade ɔhene afebɔɔ.

11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

Awurade ma ne nkurɔfoɔ ahoɔden, na ɔde asomdwoeɛ hyira wɔn.
