Psalms 25
1 [A Psalm] of David. Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
David ih Saam laa. Aw Angraeng, ka hinghaih kang tathlang.
2 O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
Aw ka Sithaw, na nuiah kam ha: na zatsak hmah loe, ka misanawk mah na pazawk o hmah nasoe.
3 Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
Ue, na nuiah amha kaminawk boih loe azathaih tong o mak ai: takung tiodeh om ai ah oep om ai ah khosah kaminawk loe azatpaw o tih.
4 Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
Aw Angraeng, na loklamnawk to na patuek ah loe, na caehhaih loklamnawk to na hnusak ah.
5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou [art] the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
Nang loe ka pahlonghaih Sithaw ah na oh pongah, na loktang thungah na hoi ah loe, na patuk ah; ni thokkruek nang ni kang zing.
6 Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they [have been] ever of old.
Aw Angraeng, canghnii hoiah kaom na palungnathaih hoi nam lunghaih to pahnet hmah.
7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD.
Ka qoeng thuem naah ka sak ih, zaehaihnawk hoi lokaekhaihnawk to poek hmah lai ah: Aw Angraeng, nang loe na hoih moe, palungnathaih na tawnh baktih toengah na pahnet hmah.
8 Good and upright [is] the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
Angraeng loe toeng moe, hoih pongah zaehaih tawn kaminawk hanah angmah ih loklam to patuek.
9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
Mi tlim ah khosah kaminawk to toenghaih a hnuksak, poeknaem kaminawk hanah angmah ih loklam to patuk.
10 All the paths of the LORD [are] mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Angraeng ih loklamnawk loe, a lokmaihaih hoi a thuih ih loknawk pazui kaminawk boih hanah, palungnathaih hoi loktang ah oh.
11 For thy name’s sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it [is] great.
Aw Angraeng, ka sakpazaehaih len parai cadoeh, na hmin rang hoiah tahmen ah.
12 What man [is] he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way [that] he shall choose.
Angraeng zii kami loe mi aa? To kami hanah a qoih pae ih loklam to patuk tih.
13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
Anih loe hoihaih hoi khosah ueloe, anih ih ca mah long to toep tih.
14 The secret of the LORD [is] with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
Angraeng zii kaminawk loe, panoek thai ai ih a lokmaihaih to panoeksak.
15 Mine eyes [are] ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
Ka mik mah Angraeng khue ni danh; anih mah thaang pongah kaman ka khok to na khramh pae tih.
16 Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I [am] desolate and afflicted.
Kaimabueng patangkhanghaih hoiah ka oh sut pongah, kai khaeah angqoi ah loe, na tahmen rae ah.
17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: [O] bring thou me out of my distresses.
Poek patanghaih ka thuilaek ai: khosak binghaih thung hoi na loisak ah.
18 Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
Ka patanghaih hoi pacip paaahaih to na khen paeh loe, ka zaehaihnawk boih na tahmen ah.
19 Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
Ka misanawk loe pop o phi, nihcae mah paroeai kai ang hnukma o, tiah panoek ah.
20 O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
Ka hinghaih hae pakaa ah loe, na pahlong ah: nang thungah ka buep pongah, azat na pawsak hmah.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
Nang kang zing pongah, poekciimhaih hoi toenghaih mah na pakaa nasoe.
22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
Aw Sithaw, Israel hae raihaihnawk boih thung hoiah akrang ah!
