Psalms 19
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
প্রধান সংগীত পরিচালকের জন্য। দাউদের গীত। আকাশমণ্ডল ঈশ্বরের মহিমা বর্ণনা করে; গগন তাঁর হাতের কাজ ঘোষণা করে।
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
তারা দিনের পর দিন বার্তা প্রকাশ করে; তারা রাতের পর রাত জ্ঞান ব্যক্ত করে।
3 [There is] no speech nor language, [where] their voice is not heard.
তাদের কোনও বক্তব্য নেই, তারা কোনও শব্দ ব্যবহার করে না; তাদের থেকে কোনও শব্দ শোনা যায় না।
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
অথচ তাদের কণ্ঠস্বর সারা পৃথিবীতে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে, তাদের বাক্য পৃথিবীর প্রান্তসীমায় পৌঁছায়। ঈশ্বর আকাশমণ্ডলে সূর্যের জন্য এক তাঁবু খাটিয়েছেন।
5 Which [is] as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, [and] rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
সূর্য্য জ্যোতির্ময় বরের মতো বাসরঘর থেকে বেরিয়ে আসে; বিজয়ী বীরের মতো আনন্দে ছুটে চলে আপন পথে।
6 His going forth [is] from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
আকাশের এক প্রান্তে সে উদিত হয় এবং অপর প্রান্তে পৌঁছে আবর্তন শেষ করে; তার উত্তাপ থেকে কোনও কিছুই বঞ্চিত হয় না।
7 The law of the LORD [is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD [is] sure, making wise the simple.
সদাপ্রভুর বিধিবিধান সিদ্ধ, যা আমার প্রাণ সঞ্জীবিত করে; সদাপ্রভুর অনুশাসন নির্ভরযোগ্য, তা অল্পবুদ্ধিকেও জ্ঞানবান করে।
8 The statutes of the LORD [are] right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD [is] pure, enlightening the eyes.
সদাপ্রভুর সমস্ত বিধি সত্য, হৃদয়কে আনন্দিত করে। সদাপ্রভুর আজ্ঞাসকল সুস্পষ্ট, চোখে আলো দান করে।
9 The fear of the LORD [is] clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD [are] true [and] righteous altogether.
সদাপ্রভুর ভয় নির্মল, চিরকাল স্থায়ী। সদাপ্রভুর আদেশ দৃঢ়, এবং পুরোপুরি ন্যায্য।
10 More to be desired [are they] than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
তা সোনার চেয়েও বেশি, এমনকি বিশুদ্ধ সোনার চেয়েও বেশি আকাঙ্ক্ষিত। এবং মধুর চেয়েও বেশি, এমনকি মৌচাক থেকে ঝরে পড়া মধুর চেয়েও বেশি মিষ্টি।
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: [and] in keeping of them [there is] great reward.
সেগুলি তোমার দাসের প্রতি সতর্কবাণী; যারা মান্য করে, তারা মহা পুরস্কার পায়।
12 Who can understand [his] errors? cleanse thou me from secret [faults].
কিন্তু কে তার নিজের ত্রুটি উপলব্ধি করতে পারে? আমার গোপন অপরাধ ক্ষমা করো।
13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [sins; ] let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
তোমার দাসকে ইচ্ছাকৃত পাপ থেকে দূরে রেখো; তা যেন আমার উপর শাসন না করে। তখন আমি নির্দোষ হব, মহা অপরাধ থেকে নির্দোষ হব।
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
হে সদাপ্রভু, আমার শৈল ও আমার মুক্তিদাতা আমার মুখের এই বাক্যসকল ও আমার মনের ধ্যান, তোমার দৃষ্টিতে মনোরম হোক।
