Psalms 18
1 To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David, the servant of the LORD, who spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day [that] the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: And he said, I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.
ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦାସ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଓ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା ଦିନ ସେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଏହି ଗୀତର କଥା ନିବେଦନ କରିଥିଲେ; ସେ କହିଲେ, ହେ ମୋହର ବଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରେ।
2 The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, [and] my high tower.
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋହର ଶୈଳ, ମୋହର ଗଡ଼ ଓ ମୋହର ଉଦ୍ଧାରକର୍ତ୍ତା; ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋହର ଦୃଢ଼ ଶୈଳ, ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଶରଣ ନେବି; ମୋହର ଢାଲ ଓ ମୋହର ପରିତ୍ରାଣର ଶୃଙ୍ଗ, ମୋହର ଉଚ୍ଚ ଦୁର୍ଗ।
3 I will call upon the LORD, [who is worthy] to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
ମୁଁ ପ୍ରଶଂସନୀୟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିବି; ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣଠାରୁ ନିସ୍ତାର ପାଇବି।
4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
ମୃତ୍ୟୁର ରଜ୍ଜୁ ମୋତେ ବେଷ୍ଟନ କଲା, ପାପାଧମତାରୂପ ପ୍ଲାବନ ମୋତେ ଭୟଗ୍ରସ୍ତ କଲା।
ପାତାଳର ରଜ୍ଜୁସବୁ ମୋʼ ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ଥିଲା; ମୃତ୍ୟୁର ଫାନ୍ଦ ମୋʼ ଉପରେ ପଡ଼ିଲା। (Sheol h7585)
6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, [even] into his ears.
ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶା ସମୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିଲି ଓ ମୋʼ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ କଲି; ସେ ଆପଣା ମନ୍ଦିରରୁ ମୋହର ରବ ଶୁଣିଲେ, ପୁଣି, ତାହାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ କୃତ ମୋହର ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ ତାହାଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲା।
7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.
ସେତେବେଳେ ପୃଥିବୀ ଟଳଟଳ ଓ କମ୍ପିତ ହେଲା, ପର୍ବତଗଣର ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିଚଳିତ ହେଲା ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ କୋପ ସକାଶୁ ଟଳଟଳ ହେଲା।
8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାସାରନ୍ଧ୍ରରୁ ଧୂମ ନିର୍ଗତ ହେଲା ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମୁଖନିର୍ଗତ ଅଗ୍ନି ଗ୍ରାସ କଲା; ତଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଅଙ୍ଗାର ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହେଲା।
9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness [was] under his feet.
ସେ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳକୁ ହିଁ ନୁଆଁଇ ତଳକୁ ଆସିଲେ; ଆଉ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଦ ତଳେ ଘୋର ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଥିଲା।
10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
ପୁଣି, ସେ କିରୂବ ଉପରେ ଆରୋହଣ କରି ଉଡ଼ିଲେ; ହଁ, ସେ ବାୟୁର ପକ୍ଷ ଉପରେ ବେଗରେ ଉଡ଼ିଲେ।
11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him [were] dark waters [and] thick clouds of the skies.
ସେ ଅନ୍ଧକାରକୁ ଆପଣାର ଗୁପ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ଜଳମୟ ଅନ୍ଧକାରକୁ, ଗଗନମଣ୍ଡଳର ନିବିଡ଼ ମେଘମାଳକୁ ଆପଣା ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଆବାସ ସ୍ୱରୂପ କଲେ।
12 At the brightness [that was] before him his thick clouds passed, hail [stones] and coals of fire.
ତାହାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ତେଜରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ନିବିଡ଼ ମେଘମାଳ ଶିଳାବୃଷ୍ଟି ଓ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ଅଙ୍ଗାର ନିର୍ଗତ କଲା।
13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail [stones] and coals of fire.
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳରେ ବଜ୍ରନାଦ କଲେ ଓ ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ଆପଣା ରବ ଉଚ୍ଚାରଣ କଲେ।
14 Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.
ଆଉ, ସେ ଆପଣା ତୀର ପ୍ରେରଣ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କଲେ; ହଁ, ଅନେକ ବିଜୁଳି ପଠାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବ୍ୟାକୁଳ କଲେ।
15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
ସେତେବେଳେ, ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ତର୍ଜ୍ଜନରେ ଓ ନାସିକାର ପ୍ରଶ୍ୱାସ ବାୟୁରେ ଜଳରାଶିର ପ୍ରଣାଳୀ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲା ଓ ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଳର ମୂଳସକଳ ଅନାବୃତ ହେଲା।
16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.
ସେ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱରୁ ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରି ମୋତେ ଧରିଲେ; ସେ ଆପଣା ଜଳରାଶିରୁ ମୋତେ ଓଟାରି ଆଣିଲେ,
17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.
ସେ ମୋହର ବଳବାନ ଶତ୍ରୁଠାରୁ ଓ ମୋହର ଘୃଣାକାରୀମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅତି ପରାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଥିଲେ।
18 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
ସେମାନେ ମୋହର ବିପଦ ଦିନରେ ମୋତେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲେ; ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ।
19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ମୋତେ ବାହାର କରି ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆଣିଲେ; ସେ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହେବାରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ।
20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋହର ଧର୍ମାନୁସାରେ ମୋତେ ପୁରସ୍କାର ଦେଲେ; ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତର ଶୌଚ ଅନୁସାରେ ସେ ମୋତେ ଫଳ ଦେଲେ।
21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
କାରଣ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପଥ ଧରିଅଛି ଓ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଭାବରେ ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କରି ନାହିଁ।
22 For all his judgments [were] before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.
ଆଉ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶାସନସବୁ ମୋʼ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଥିଲା, ପୁଣି, ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଧିସବୁ ଆପଣାଠାରୁ ଦୂର କଲି ନାହିଁ।
23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
ମଧ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଥିଲି ଓ ମୁଁ ନିଜ ଅପରାଧରୁ ଆପଣାକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କଲି।
24 Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.
ଏହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋର ଧର୍ମାନୁସାରେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତର ଶୌଚାନୁସାରେ ମୋତେ ଫଳ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
25 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;
ଦୟାଳୁ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଦୟାଳୁ ଦେଖାଇବ; ସିଦ୍ଧ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଦେଖାଇବ;
26 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.
ନିର୍ମଳ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ନିର୍ମଳ ଦେଖାଇବ। ଆଉ, କୁଟିଳ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଚତୁର ଦେଖାଇବ;
27 For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.
କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଃଖୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତ୍ରାଣ କରିବ; ମାତ୍ର ଦାମ୍ଭିକ ଚକ୍ଷୁକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନତ କରିବ।
28 For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
ଯେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରଦୀପ ଜ୍ୱଳାଇବ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋʼ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋʼ ଅନ୍ଧକାରକୁ ଆଲୁଅମୟ କରିବେ।
29 For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମୁଁ ସୈନ୍ୟଦଳ ଉପରେ ଦୌଡ଼େ ଓ ମୋʼ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଡିଏଁ।
30 [As for] God, his way [is] perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he [is] a buckler to all those that trust in him.
ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପଥ ସିଦ୍ଧ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ସୁପରୀକ୍ଷିତ; ସେ ଆପଣା ଶରଣାଗତ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ଢାଲ।
31 For who [is] God save the LORD? or who [is] a rock save our God?
କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଛଡ଼ା ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କିଏ? ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଛଡ଼ା ଶୈଳ କିଏ?
32 [It is] God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
ସେହି ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ବଳ ଦେଇ ମୋହର କଟି ବାନ୍ଧନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋହର ପଥ ସିଦ୍ଧ କରନ୍ତି।
33 He maketh my feet like hinds’ [feet], and setteth me upon my high places.
ସେ ମୋହର ଚରଣକୁ ହରିଣୀର ଚରଣ ପରି କରନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋତେ ମୋʼ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀରେ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରନ୍ତି।
34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
ସେ ମୋʼ ହସ୍ତକୁ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଶିଖାନ୍ତି; ତେଣୁ ମୋʼ ବାହୁ ପିତ୍ତଳ ଧନୁ ନୁଆଁଏ।
35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆପଣା ପରିତ୍ରାଣର ଢାଲ ମୋତେ ଦେଇଅଛ; ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ମୋତେ ଧରି ରଖିଅଛି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନମ୍ରତା ମୋତେ ବୃଦ୍ଧିପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରିଅଛି।
36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ପାଦ ପକାଇବାର ସ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ କରିଅଛ ଓ ମୋʼ ପାଦ ଖସି ଯାଇ ନାହିଁ।
37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଧରିବି; କିଅବା ସେମାନେ ସଂହାରିତ ନୋହିବା ଯାଏ ମୁଁ ଫେରି ଆସିବି ନାହିଁ।
38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏପରି ଆଘାତ କରିବି ଯେ, ସେମାନେ ଆଉ ଉଠି ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନେ ମୋʼ ପଦ ତଳେ ପତିତ ହେବେ।
39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବଳ ଦେଇ ଯୁଦ୍ଧାର୍ଥେ ମୋʼ କଟି ବାନ୍ଧିଅଛ; ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଉଠିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ବଶୀଭୂତ କରିଅଛ।
40 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରୁ ଫେରାଇ ଦେଇଅଛ, ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଘୃଣାକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିଅଛି।
41 They cried, but [there was] none to save [them: even] unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
ସେମାନେ ଡାକ ପକାଇଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବାକୁ କେହି ନ ଥିଲା, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ହିଁ ଡାକିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ।
42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.
ସେତେବେଳେ ମୁଁ ବାୟୁ ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥ ଧୂଳି ପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲି; ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାଟର କାଦୁଅ ପରି ପକାଇଦେଲି।
43 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; [and] thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people [whom] I have not known shall serve me.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିବାଦରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀସମୂହର ମସ୍ତକ ସ୍ୱରୂପ କରିଅଛ; ମୋହର ଅପରିଚିତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମୋହର ସେବା କରିବେ।
44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
ସେମାନେ ମୋର ବିଷୟ ଶୁଣିବାମାତ୍ରେ ମୋହର ଆଜ୍ଞାବହ ହେବେ; ବିଦେଶୀୟମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋହର ବଶୀଭୂତ କରିବେ।
45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
ବିଦେଶୀୟମାନେ ମ୍ଳାନ ହୋଇଯିବେ ଓ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଗୁପ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଥରହର ହୋଇ ବାହାରି ଆସିବେ।
46 The LORD liveth; and blessed [be] my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜୀବିତ; ମୋହର ଶୈଳ ଧନ୍ୟ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ ଓ ମୋହର ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଉନ୍ନତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।
47 [It is] God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.
ସେହି ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମୋʼ ପକ୍ଷରେ ପରିଶୋଧ ନିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋହର ବଶୀଭୂତ କରନ୍ତି।
48 He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
ସେ ମୋʼ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି; ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉତ୍ଥିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ମୋତେ ଉଚ୍ଚୀକୃତ କରୁଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉପଦ୍ରବୀ ଲୋକଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରୁଅଛ।
49 Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
ଏହେତୁ, ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୁଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କରିବି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମର ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଗାନ କରିବି।
50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
ସେ ଆପଣା ରାଜାକୁ ମହାପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଆପଣା ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ ପ୍ରତି, ଦାଉଦ ପ୍ରତି ଓ ତାହାର ବଂଶ ପ୍ରତି ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରନ୍ତି।
