Psalms 15

1 A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

Psaume de David.

2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

Celui qui marche sans tache, et qui pratique la justice.

3 [He that] backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

Celui qui dit la vérité qui est dans son cœur; qui n’a pas trompé avec sa langue; Qui n’a pas fait de mal à son prochain, et qui n’a pas accueilli l’injure contre ses frères.

4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. [He that] sweareth to [his own] hurt, and changeth not.

En présence de qui le méchant est regardé comme un néant, mais qui glorifie ceux qui craignent Dieu. Celui qui ayant fait un serment à son prochain, ne le trompe point.

5 [He that] putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these [things] shall never be moved.

Celui qui n’a point donné son argent à usure, et n’a point reçu de présents contre l’innocent: celui qui fait ces choses ne sera jamais ébranlé.
