Psalms 142

1 Maschil of David; A Prayer when he was in the cave. I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.

൧ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു ധ്യാനം; അവൻ ഗുഹയിൽ ആയിരുന്നപ്പോൾ കഴിച്ച പ്രാർത്ഥന. ഞാൻ യഹോവയോട് ഉറക്കെ നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ യഹോവയോട് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.

2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

൨ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ സങ്കടം പകരുന്നു; എന്റെ കഷ്ടത ഞാൻ കർത്താവിനെ ബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

൩എന്റെ ആത്മാവ് എന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ വിഷാദിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ പാത അറിയുന്നു. ഞാൻ നടക്കുന്ന പാതയിൽ അവർ എനിക്ക് ഒരു കെണി ഒളിച്ചുവച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

4 I looked on [my] right hand, and beheld, but [there was] no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

൪എന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തേക്ക് നോക്കി കാണണമേ; എന്നെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നവൻ ആരുമില്ലല്ലോ. ശരണം എനിക്ക് നഷ്ടമായിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പ്രാണനുവേണ്ടി ആരും കരുതുന്നില്ല.

5 I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou [art] my refuge [and] my portion in the land of the living.

൫യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; “അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ സങ്കേതവും ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്ത് എന്റെ ഓഹരിയും ആകുന്നു” എന്ന് ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

൬എന്റെ നിലവിളിക്ക് ചെവിതരണമേ. ഞാൻ ഏറ്റവും എളിമപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നവർ എന്നിലും ബലവാന്മാരാകയാൽ അവരുടെ കൈയിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കണമേ.

7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

൭ഞാൻ അങ്ങയുടെ നാമത്തിന് സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുവാൻ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാരാഗൃഹത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കണമേ; അങ്ങ് എനിക്ക് ഉപകാരം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുകയാൽ നീതിമാന്മാർ എന്റെ ചുറ്റം വന്നുകൂടും.
