Psalms 135
1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise [him], O ye servants of the LORD.
Haalleluuyaa. Maqaa Waaqayyoo jajadhaa; isin garboonni Waaqayyoo isa galateeffadhaa.
2 Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,
Isin warri mana Waaqayyoo keessa, oobdii mana Waaqa keenyaa keessa tajaajiltan, isa galateeffadhaa.
3 Praise the LORD; for the LORD [is] good: sing praises unto his name; for [it is] pleasant.
Waaqayyo gaariidhaatii, Waaqayyoon galateeffadhaa; inni arjaadhaatii maqaa isaatiif faarfadhaa.
4 For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, [and] Israel for his peculiar treasure.
Waaqayyo Yaaqoobin ofii isaatiif, Israaʼelin immoo dhaala dhuunfaa isaa godhee filateeraatii.
5 For I know that the LORD [is] great, and [that] our Lord [is] above all gods.
Ani akka Waaqayyo guddaa taʼe, akka Gooftaan keenya waaqota hunda caalaa guddaa taʼe beeka.
6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, [that] did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
Waaqayyo samiiwwan keessattii fi lafa irratti, galaanotaa fi tuujuba isaanii hunda keessatti, waan isa gammachiisu kam iyyuu ni hojjeta.
7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
Inni akka duumessoonni daarii lafaatii kaʼan ni godha; bokkaa wajjin balaqqee erga; gombisaa isaa keessaas bubbee gad baasa.
8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
Inni hangafoota Gibxi, kan namaatii fi kan horii ni dhaʼe.
9 [Who] sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
Yaa Gibxi, inni gidduu keetti, Faraʼoonii fi tajaajiltoota isaa hundatti mallattoo fi dinqii isaa ergeera.
10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
Inni saboota baayʼee dhaʼee mootota jajjaboo ajjeese;
11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
Sihoon mootii warra Amoorotaa, Oogi mootii Baashaanii fi mootota Kanaʼaan hunda ni ajjeese;
12 And gave their land [for] an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
lafa isaanii dhaala godhee akka dhaala isaanii taʼuufis saba isaa Israaʼeliif kenne.
13 Thy name, O LORD, [endureth] for ever; [and] thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
Yaa Waaqayyo, maqaan kee bara baraan jiraata; yaa Waaqayyo, ati dhaloota hunda keessatti ni yaadatamta.
14 For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
Waaqayyo saba isaatiif ni falma; tajaajiltoota isaatiifis garaa laafa.
15 The idols of the heathen [are] silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
Waaqonni tolfamoon namoota ormaa meetii fi warqee harka namaatiin hojjetamanii dha.
16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
Isaan afaan qabu; garuu dubbachuu hin dandaʼan; ijas qabu; garuu arguu hin dandaʼan;
17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there [any] breath in their mouths.
gurra qabu; garuu dhagaʼuu hin dandaʼan; yookaan hafuurri tokko iyyuu afaan isaanii keessa hin jiru.
18 They that make them are like unto them: [so is] every one that trusteth in them.
Warri isaan tolchan kanneen isaan amanatan hundi akkuma isaanii taʼu.
19 Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:
Yaa mana Israaʼel Waaqayyoon eebbisaa; yaa mana Aroon Waaqayyoon eebbisaa;
20 Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.
yaa mana Lewwii Waaqayyoon eebbisaa; isin warri isa sodaattanis, Waaqayyoon eebbisaa.
21 Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
Waaqayyo inni Yerusaalem keessa jiraatu sun, Xiyoon irraa haa eebbifamu. Haalleluuyaa!
