Psalms 131

1 A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

একটি আরোহণ সংগীত। দাউদের গীত। হে সদাপ্রভু, আমার হৃদয় অহংকারী নয়, আমার দৃষ্টি উদ্ধত নয়; নিজের থেকে বড় কোনও বিষয় নিয়ে আমি ভাবি না আমার বোধের অতীত কোনও আশ্চর্য বিষয়ে সংযুক্ত থাকি না।

2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul [is] even as a weaned child.

কিন্তু আমি নিজেকে শান্ত ও নীরব করেছি, স্তন্য-ত্যাগ করা শিশুর মতো করেছি যে মায়ের দুধের জন্য আর কাঁদে না, স্তন্যপানে বিরত শিশুর মতো আমি তৃপ্ত।

3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.

হে ইস্রায়েল, সদাপ্রভুর উপরে আশা রাখো এখন এবং চিরকালের জন্য রাখো।
