Psalms 127

1 A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh [but] in vain.

၁ထာဝရဘုရား သည် အိမ် ကို ဆောက် တော်မ မူ လျှင် ၊ ဆောက် သောသူတို့ သည် အချည်းနှီး လုပ်ဆောင် ကြ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မြို့ ကို စောင့် တော်မ မူလျှင် ၊ ကင်း စောင့်တို့သည် အချည်းနှီး စောင့် ကြ၏။

2 [It is] vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: [for] so he giveth his beloved sleep.

၂စောစော ထလျက်၊ ညဉ့်နက်သည်တိုင်အောင်မအိပ်ဘဲနေလျက်၊ ပင်ပန်း စွာ အစာ စား လျက်နေ သော်လည်း အကျိုး မရှိ။ အိပ်ပျော် ရသောအခွင့်ကို ချစ် တော်မူသောသူအား အမှန်ပေး တော်မူ၏။

3 Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward.

၃ဘွား မြင်သော သား သမီးတို့သည်ထာဝရဘုရား ဆု ချ၍ ပေးသနားတော်မူသောအမွေ ဥစ္စာဖြစ်ကြ၏။

4 As arrows [are] in the hand of a mighty man; so [are] children of the youth.

၄အသက် ပျိုစဉ်၊ ဘွားမြင်သော သားသမီး တို့ သည် သူရဲ လက် ၌ ရှိသောမြှား ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

5 Happy [is] the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

၅မိမိ မြှား တောင့်ကို သူ တို့နှင့် ပြည့် စေသောသူ သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိ၏။ သူတို့သည် ရှက်ကြောက်ခြင်းမ ရှိ။ ရန်သူ တို့ကို တံခါး ဝ၌ ဆီးတား ကြလိမ့်မည်။
