Psalms 125

1 A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD [shall be] as mount Zion, [which] cannot be removed, [but] abideth for ever.

১আরোহণ গীত। যারা সদাপ্রভুুতে নির্ভর করে, তারা সিয়োন পর্বতের মত, অটল, চিরস্থায়ী।

2 As the mountains [are] round about Jerusalem, so the LORD [is] round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

২যেমন যিরুশালেমের চারদিকে পর্বত আছে, সেরকম সদাপ্রভুু তাঁর লোকেদের চারদিকে আছেন, এখন এবং অনন্তকাল।

3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

৩কারণ দেশে দুষ্টলোকের রাজদণ্ড ধার্ম্মিকদের শাসন করতে পারবে না। নতুবা ধার্মিকরা যা অন্যায় তা করতে পারে।

4 Do good, O LORD, unto [those that be] good, and [to them that are] upright in their hearts.

৪মঙ্গল কর সদাপ্রভুু। যারা ভালো, তাদের মঙ্গল কর।

5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: [but] peace [shall be] upon Israel.

৫কিন্তু যারা নিজেরা বাঁকাপথে ফিরে, সদাপ্রভুু তাদেরকে নিয়ে যাবেন অধর্মাচারীদের সঙ্গে। ইস্রায়েলের ওপরে শান্তি নেমে আসুক।
