< Psalms 120 >
1 A Song of degrees. In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.
Mɔzɔha. Meyɔ Yehowa le nye xaxa me, eye wòtɔ nam.
2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, [and] from a deceitful tongue.
O! Yehowa, ɖem, tso aʋatsonuyiwo kple alakpaɖewo ƒe asi me.
3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?
O! Alakpaɖe, nu ka wòawɔ na wò, eye nu ka wòatsɔ akpee na wò?
4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
Atsɔ aʋawɔla ƒe aŋutrɔ ɖaɖɛwo ahe to na wòe kpe ɖe yɔkuti ƒe dzoka xɔxɔwo ŋuti.
5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, [that] I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
Baba nam be mele Mesek, eye mele Kedar ƒe agbadɔwo me!
6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
Menɔ ame siwo lé fu ŋutifafa la dome wòdidi fũu akpa.
7 I [am for] peace: but when I speak, they [are] for war.
