Psalms 118
1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: because his mercy [endureth] for ever.
೧ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು. ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿದೆ.
2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.
೨ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು, “ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಿ.
3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.
೩ಆರೋನನ ಮನೆತನದವರು, “ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಿ.
4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.
೪ಯೆಹೋವನ ಭಕ್ತರು, “ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಿ.
5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, [and set me] in a large place.
೫ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟೆನು; ಆತನು ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
6 The LORD [is] on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
೬ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ; ಭಯಪಡೆನು. ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನನಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಾನು?
7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see [my desire] upon them that hate me.
೭ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನೇ ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕನು; ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳಿಗಾಗುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡುವೆನು.
8 [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
೮ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ, ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು.
9 [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
೯ಪ್ರಭುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ, ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು.
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.
೧೦ಜನಾಂಗದವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಯೆಹೋವನ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವೆನು.
11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
೧೧ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಮುತ್ತಿದರು; ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವೆನು.
12 They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
೧೨ಅವರು ಜೇನು ನೊಣಗಳಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕವಿದರೂ; ಮುಳ್ಳಿನ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಂತೆ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗುವರು. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವೆನು.
13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
೧೩ವೈರಿಯೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೀಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದಿ; ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
14 The LORD [is] my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
೧೪ನನ್ನ ಬಲವು, ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯು ಯೆಹೋವನೇ; ಆತನಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯುಂಟಾಯಿತು.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation [is] in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
೧೫ಉತ್ಸಾಹಧ್ವನಿಯು, ಜಯಘೋಷವು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿವೆ; ಯೆಹೋವನ ಬಲಗೈ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತದೆ.
16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
೧೬ಯೆಹೋವನ ಬಲಗೈ ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿದೆ; ಯೆಹೋವನ ಬಲಗೈ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತದೆ.
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
೧೭ನಾನು ಸಾಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಜೀವದಿಂದಿದ್ದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾರುವೆನು.
18 The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
೧೮ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು; ಆದರೆ ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, [and] I will praise the LORD:
೧೯ನೀತಿದ್ವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಿರಿ; ನಾನು ಒಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು.
20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
೨೦ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂದಿರದ್ವಾರವು; ಇದರೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸತಕ್ಕವರು ನೀತಿವಂತರೇ.
21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
೨೧ನನಗೆ ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದಾತನೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
22 The stone [which] the builders refused is become the head [stone] of the corner.
೨೨ಮನೆಕಟ್ಟುವವರು ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಕಲ್ಲೇ, ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಮೂಲೆಗಲ್ಲಾಯಿತು;
23 This is the LORD’s doing; it [is] marvellous in our eyes.
೨೩ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದಲೇ ಆಯಿತು; ನಮಗೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ತೋರುತ್ತದೆ.
24 This [is] the day [which] the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
೨೪ಈ ದಿನವು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದಲೇ ನೇಮಕವಾದದ್ದು; ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದ ಆನಂದಿಸೋಣ.
25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
೨೫ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು; ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಸಾಫಲ್ಯಕೊಡು.
26 Blessed [be] he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
೨೬ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳಗೆ ಬರುವವನಿಗೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ; ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
27 God [is] the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, [even] unto the horns of the altar.
೨೭ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ದೇವರು; ಆತನು ನಮಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ರೆಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ.
28 Thou [art] my God, and I will praise thee: [thou art] my God, I will exalt thee.
೨೮ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರು; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
29 O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
೨೯ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು. ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದದ್ದು.
