Psalms 109
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;
௧இராகத்தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட தாவீதின் பாடல். நான் துதிக்கும் தேவனே, மவுனமாக இருக்கவேண்டாம்.
2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
௨துன்மார்க்கனுடைய வாயும், வஞ்சகவாயும், எனக்கு விரோதமாகத் திறந்திருக்கிறது; பொய் நாவினால் என்னோடு பேசுகிறார்கள்.
3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
௩பகையுண்டாக்கும் வார்த்தைகளால் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டு, காரணமில்லாமல் என்னோடு போர்செய்கிறார்கள்.
4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I [give myself unto] prayer.
௪என்னுடைய அன்புக்கு பதிலாக என்னை விரோதிக்கிறார்கள், நானோ ஜெபம் செய்து கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்.
5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
௫நன்மைக்குப் பதிலாக எனக்குத் தீமைசெய்கிறார்கள், என்னுடைய அன்புக்குப் பதிலாக என்னைப் பகைக்கிறார்கள்.
6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
௬அவனுக்கு மேலாகத் தீயவனை ஏற்படுத்தி வையும், சாத்தான் அவனுடைய வலதுபக்கத்தில் நிற்கட்டும்.
7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
௭அவனுடைய நியாயம் விசாரிக்கப்படும்போது குற்றவாளியாகட்டும்; அவனுடைய ஜெபம் பாவமாகட்டும்.
8 Let his days be few; [and] let another take his office.
௮அவனுடைய நாட்கள் கொஞ்சமாகட்டும்; அவனுடைய வேலையை வேறொருவன் பெறட்டும்.
9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
௯அவனுடைய பிள்ளைகள் திக்கற்றவர்களும், அவனுடைய மனைவி விதவையுமாகட்டும்.
10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek [their bread] also out of their desolate places.
௧0அவனுடைய பிள்ளைகள் அலைந்து திரிந்து பிச்சையெடுத்து, தங்களுடைய பாழான வீடுகளிலிருந்து பிச்சை எடுக்கட்டும்.
11 Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.
௧௧கடன் கொடுத்தவன் அவனுக்கு உள்ளதெல்லாவற்றையும் அபகரித்துக்கொள்ளட்டும்; அவனுடைய உழைப்பின் பலனை அந்நியர்கள் பறித்துக்கொள்ளட்டும்.
12 Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
௧௨அவனுக்கு ஒருவரும் இரக்கங்காட்டாமலும், அவனுடைய திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுக்குத் தயவு செய்யாமல் போகட்டும்.
13 Let his posterity be cut off; [and] in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
௧௩அவனுடைய சந்ததியார் அழிக்கப்படட்டும்; இரண்டாம் தலைமுறையில் அவர்களுடைய பெயர் இல்லாமல் போகட்டும்.
14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
௧௪அவனுடைய முன்னோர்களின் அக்கிரமம் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக நினைக்கப்படட்டும், அவனுடைய தாயின் பாவம் நீங்காமலிருக்கட்டும்.
15 Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
௧௫அவைகள் எப்பொழுதும் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கட்டும்; அவர்களுடைய பெயர் பூமியில் இல்லாமல் அழிக்கப்படட்டும்.
16 Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
௧௬அவன் தயவுசெய்ய நினைக்காமல், ஏழையும், தேவையுள்ளவனுமாகிய மனிதனைத் துன்பப்படுத்தி, மனமுறிவுள்ளவனைக் கொலைசெய்யும்படி தேடினானே.
17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.
௧௭சாபத்தை விரும்பினான், அது அவனுக்கு வரும்; அவன் ஆசீர்வாதத்தை விரும்பாமற்போனான், அது அவனுக்குத் தூரமாக விலகிப்போகும்.
18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.
௧௮சாபத்தை அவன் தனக்கு ஆடையாக உடுத்திக்கொண்டான்; அது அவனுடைய உள்ளத்தில் தண்ணீரைப்போலவும், அவனுடைய எலும்புகளில் எண்ணெயைப்போலவும் பாயும்.
19 Let it be unto him as the garment [which] covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.
௧௯அது அவன் போர்த்துக்கொள்ளுகிற ஆடையாகவும், எப்பொழுதும் கட்டிக்கொள்ளுகிற வார்க்கச்சையாகவும் இருக்கட்டும்.
20 [Let] this [be] the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
௨0இதுதான் என்னை விரோதிக்கிறவர்களுக்கும், என்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவுக்கு விரோதமாகத் தீங்கு பேசுகிறவர்களுக்கும் யெகோவாவால் வரும் பிரதிபலன்.
21 But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name’s sake: because thy mercy [is] good, deliver thou me.
௨௧ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவாவே, நீர் உமது பெயரினிமித்தம் என்னை ஆதரித்து, உமது கிருபை நலமானதினால், என்னை விடுவித்தருளும்.
22 For I [am] poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
௨௨நான் ஏழையும் தேவையுள்ளவனுமாக இருக்கிறேன், என்னுடைய இருதயம் எனக்குள் புண்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
௨௩சாயும் நிழலைப்போல் அகன்றுபோனேன்; வெட்டுக்கிளியைப்போல் பறக்கடிக்கப்படுகிறேன்.
24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.
௨௪உபவாசத்தினால் என்னுடைய முழங்கால்கள் பலவீனமடைகிறது; என்னுடைய சரீரமும் பலமற்று உலர்ந்து போகிறது.
25 I became also a reproach unto them: [when] they looked upon me they shaked their heads.
௨௫நான் அவர்களுக்கு நிந்தையானேன்; அவர்கள் என்னைப் பார்த்து, தங்களுடைய தலையை அசைக்கிறார்கள்.
26 Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy:
௨௬என் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவே எனக்கு உதவிசெய்யும்; உமது கிருபையின்படி என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்.
27 That they may know that this [is] thy hand; [that] thou, LORD, hast done it.
௨௭இது உமது கரம் என்றும், யெகோவாவே, தேவனே நீர் இதைச் செய்தீர் என்றும், அவர்கள் அறிவார்களாக.
28 Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.
௨௮அவர்கள் சபித்தாலும், நீர் ஆசீர்வதியும்; அவர்கள் எழும்பினாலும் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகட்டும்; உமது அடியானோ மகிழ்சியாக இருப்பேன்.
29 Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
௨௯என்னுடைய விரோதிகள் அவமானத்தால் மூடப்பட்டு, தங்களுடைய வெட்கத்தைச் சால்வையைப்போல் அணிந்துக்கொள்வார்களாக.
30 I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
௩0யெகோவாவை நான் என்னுடைய வாயினால் மிகவும் துதித்து, அநேகர் நடுவிலே அவரைப் புகழுவேன்.
31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save [him] from those that condemn his soul.
௩௧தண்டனைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்க்கிறவர்களிடம் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவனுடைய ஆத்துமாவை காப்பாற்றும்படி அவர் அவனுடைய வலதுபக்கத்தில் நிற்பார்.
