< Psalms 109 >

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;
Abụ Ọma nke dịrị onyeisi Abụ. Abụ Ọma Devid. O Chineke, onye m na-eto, anọgidekwala na-agba nkịtị,
2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
nʼihi na ndị ajọ omume na ndị aghụghọ emegheela ọnụ ha megide m; ha aghaala ụgha megide m.
3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
Ha na-eji okwu ịkpọ asị gbaa m gburugburu; na-ebuso m agha nʼefu.
4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I [give myself unto] prayer.
5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
Ha ji ihe ọjọọ na-akwụ m ụgwọ ihe ọma m mere, ịkpọ asị nʼọnọdụ ịhụnanya.
6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
Họpụta otu onye ajọ omume ka o guzogide ya; ka onye na-ebo ebubo ụgha guzokwa nʼaka nri ya.
7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
Mgbe a ga-ekpe ya ikpe, ka ọ bụrụ onye ikpe mara, ka ekpere ya maa ya ikpe ọnwụ.
8 Let his days be few; [and] let another take his office.
Ka ụbọchị ndụ ya dị ole na ole, ka onye ọzọ nara ya ọkwa ya.
9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
Ka ụmụ ya ghọọ ndị na-enweghị nna, ka nwunye ya bụrụ nwanyị na-enweghị di.
10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek [their bread] also out of their desolate places.
11 Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.
Ka ndị o ji ụgwọ kwakọrọ ihe niile o nwere, ka ndị ọbịa baa bukọrọ ihe niile ọ rụpụtaara onwe ya.
12 Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
Ka onye ọbụla ghara igosi ya obiọma; ka onye ọbụla gharakwa imere ụmụ ya ndị ọ hapụrụ ebere.
13 Let his posterity be cut off; [and] in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
Kama ka ụmụ ụmụ ya niile nwụsịa, ka a ehichapụkwa aha ha nʼọgbọ nke na-abịa nʼihu.
14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
15 Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
16 Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
Nʼihi na ọ dịghị mgbe o chere echiche banyere imere onye ọzọ obi ebere, ọ kpagburu ndị ogbenye, ndị nọ na mkpa na ndị obi ha tiwara etiwa ruo nʼọnwụ.
17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.
Ọ hụrụ ịbụ ndị ọzọ ọnụ nʼanya, ka ọbụbụ ọnụ bịakwasị ya; ọ dịghị atọ ya ụtọ ịgọzi onye ọbụla, ka ngọzị dị anya site nʼebe ọ nọ.
18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.
O yikwasịrị ịbụ ọnụ dịka uwe ya; ọ bara nʼime ahụ ya dịka mmiri, bakwaa nʼime ọkpụkpụ ya dịka mmanụ.
19 Let it be unto him as the garment [which] covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.
Ka ọ dịịrị ya ka uwe mwụda nke e kere ya gburugburu dịka akwa, dịka belịt e kegidere ya gburugburu ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
20 [Let] this [be] the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
Onyenwe anyị, mee ka nke a bụrụ ụdị ụgwọ ọrụ ndị iro m ga-anata, bụ ndị ahụ niile na-ekwu okwu ọjọọ megide m.
21 But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name’s sake: because thy mercy [is] good, deliver thou me.
Ma gị onwe gị, Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị nyere m aka nʼihi aha gị, site nʼịdị mma nke ịhụnanya gị, napụta m.
22 For I [am] poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
Nʼihi na abụ m ogbenye na onye nọ na mkpa, obi m tiwakwara etiwa nʼime m.
23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
Ana m efu dịka onyinyo nke a na-ahụ anya mgbe anwụ dara; adịkwa m ka igurube nke onye m bekwasịrị nʼahụ ya na-efechapụ.
24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.
Ike agwụla ikpere m, nʼihi ibu ọnụ; ataakwala m ahụ, bụrụ naanị ọkpụkpụ.
25 I became also a reproach unto them: [when] they looked upon me they shaked their heads.
Aghọọla m onye e ji eme ihe ọchị nye ndị na-ebo m ebubo, mgbe ha hụrụ m, ha na-efufe isi ha.
26 Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy:
Nyere m aka, o Onyenwe anyị Chineke m; zọpụta m dịka ịhụnanya gị si dị.
27 That they may know that this [is] thy hand; [that] thou, LORD, hast done it.
Ka ha mara na ọ bụ aka gị, na ọ bụ gị, o Onyenwe anyị, mere ya.
28 Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.
29 Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
A ga-eji ihere yikwasị ndị na-ebo m ebubo dịka uwe werekwa ihere kee ha gburugburu dịka uwe mwụda.
30 I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
Aga m eji ọnụ m jaa Onyenwe anyị mma nke ukwuu; nʼetiti ọha mmadụ dị ukwuu, aga m eto ya.
31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save [him] from those that condemn his soul.
Nʼihi na ọ na-eguzo nʼaka nri nke onye nọ na mkpa, ịzọpụta ya site nʼaka ndị na-ama ya ikpe ọnwụ.
