Psalms 106
1 Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಅವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರು. ಅವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? [who] can shew forth all his praise?
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿರಿ, ದೇವರನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯ?
3 Blessed [are] they that keep judgment, [and] he that doeth righteousness at all times.
ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಸರಿಯಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು.
4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour [that thou bearest unto] thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜನರ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದರ್ಶಿಸಿರಿ.
5 That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾನು ನೀವು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡವರ ಸುಖವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜನರ ಸಂತೋಷದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಕೀಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
6 We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಂತೆ ನಾವು ಕೂಡಾ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಅಕ್ರಮ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ದುಷ್ಟಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
7 Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked [him] at the sea, [even] at the Red sea.
ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಿಗೆ ಲಕ್ಷಕೊಡದೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕರುಣಾತಿಶಯವನ್ನು ನೆನಸದೆ, ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಕೆಂಪುಸಮುದ್ರದ ಹತ್ತಿರ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದರು.
8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
ಆದರೂ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಹಾಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.
9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
ದೇವರು ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಲು, ಅದು ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಯಿತು; ಹೀಗೆ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ಹೋದಂತೆ ಜಲಾಗಾಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hated [them], and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
ವೈರಿಯ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು, ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
ಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳು ಅವರ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟವು, ವೈರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
ಆಗ ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಬಿ, ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು.
13 They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
ಆದರೆ ಬೇಗನೇ ದೇವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ದೇವರ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ಕಾದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋದರು.
14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದುರಾಶೆಯಿಂದ ಆಶಿಸಿ, ಹಾಳು ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.
15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯಂತೆಯೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಭೀಕರ ರೋಗವನ್ನು ಸಹ ಅನುಮತಿಸಿದರು.
16 They envied Moses also in the camp, [and] Aaron the saint of the LORD.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತನಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಕಿಚ್ಚುಪಟ್ಟರು.
17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
ಆಗ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಾಯಿತೆರೆದು ದಾತಾನನನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿ, ಅಬೀರಾಮನ ಗುಂಪನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು.
18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅವರ ಗುಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉರಿದು, ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟಿತು.
19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
ಅವರು ಹೋರೇಬಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಕದ ಕರುವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ಆ ವಿಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದರು.
20 Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಲ್ಲು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಎತ್ತಿನ ರೂಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
21 They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬೇಗ ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟರು. ಹೌದು, ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ,
22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, [and] terrible things by the Red sea.
ಹಾಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಕೆಂಪುಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿಶಯವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy [them].
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೇವರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪೂರ್ಣದಂಡನೆ ಕೊಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡ ಮೋಶೆಯು, ದೇವರ ಕಠಿಣ ತೀರ್ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಶಾಂತಪಡಿಸಲು ಆಪತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡನು.
24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
ಹೌದು, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಮನೋಹರವಾದ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೀನೈಸಿ, ದೇವರ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನಂಬದೆ ಹೋದರು.
25 But murmured in their tents, [and] hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
ತಮ್ಮ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗೊಣಗುಟ್ಟಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳದೆ ಹೋದರು.
26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಅವರ ಸಂತತಿಯರು ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ
27 To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಯಿತು.
28 They joined themselves also unto Baal-peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಬಾಳ್ ಪೆಯೋರನ ದೇವತೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು; ಜೀವವಿಲ್ಲದ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದರು.
29 Thus they provoked [him] to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿತು.
30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and [so] the plague was stayed.
ಆಗ ಫೀನೆಹಾಸನು ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದು ದಂಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ವ್ಯಾಧಿ ನಿಂತುಹೋಯಿತು.
31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
ಇದು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ, ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಫೀನೆಹಾಸನಿಗೆ ನೀತಿ ಎಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
32 They angered [him] also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
ಮೆರೀಬಾದ ನೀರಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಬಂತು.
33 Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ದೇವರ ಆತ್ಮನಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಮೋಶೆ ದುಡುಕಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.
34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಜನಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ದಂಡಿಸದೆ ಹೋದರು.
35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
ಆದರೆ ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅವರ ಪದ್ಧತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತುಕೊಂಡರು.
36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
ಅವರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು; ಅವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉರುಲಿನಂತಾದವು.
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
ತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ, ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಸುಳ್ಳು ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
38 And shed innocent blood, [even] the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನಿರಪರಾಧದ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿ, ಕಾನಾನಿನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ದೇಶವನ್ನು ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
ಹೀಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ದುರಾಚಾರಿಗಳಾದರು.
40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಹು ಬೇಸರಗೊಂಡರು. ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಾರಸುದಾರರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಸಂತೋಷಗೊಂಡು,
41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
ಅವರನ್ನು ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರ ವೈರಿಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಳಿದರು.
42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
ಅವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಾಧೆಪಡಿಸಿದರು; ಅವರ ಕೈಕೆಳಗೆ ಅವರು ಅಧೀನರಾದರು.
43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked [him] with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
ಅನೇಕ ಸಾರಿ ದೇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದರು, ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿಬೀಳುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದರು; ತಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮದಿಂದಲೇ ಅವರು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋದರು;
44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
ಆದರೂ ಅವರ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟು,
45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ತಮ್ಮ ಅತಿಶಯವಾದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ,
46 He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದವರ ಕರುಣೆ ತೋರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
47 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, [and] to triumph in thy praise.
ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯಘೋಷ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ.
48 Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ತುತಿಯುಂಟಾಗಲಿ. ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ, “ಆಮೆನ್!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಿ. ನೀವು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ.
