Psalms 103
1 [A Psalm] of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name.
Bemdize, ó alma minha ao Senhor, e tudo o que ha em mim, bemdiga o seu sancto nome.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Bemdize, ó alma minha, ao Senhor, e não te esqueças de nenhum de seus beneficios.
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
O que perdôa todas as tuas iniquidades, que sara todas as tuas enfermidades,
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Que redime a tua vida da perdição; que te corôa de benignidade e de misericordia,
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good [things; so that] thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Que farta a tua bocca de bens, de sorte que a tua mocidade se renove como a da aguia.
6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
O Senhor faz justiça e juizo a todos os opprimidos.
7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
Fez conhecidos os seus caminhos a Moysés, e os seus feitos aos filhos d'Israel.
8 The LORD [is] merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
Misericordioso e piedoso é o Senhor; longanimo e grande em benignidade.
9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep [his anger] for ever.
Não reprovará perpetuamente, nem para sempre reterá a sua ira.
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
Não nos tratou segundo os nossos peccados, nem nos recompensou segundo as nossas iniquidades.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, [so] great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
Pois assim como o céu está elevado acima da terra, assim é grande a sua misericordia para com os que o temem.
12 As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Assim como está longe o oriente do occidente, assim affasta de nós as nossas transgressões.
13 Like as a father pitieth [his] children, [so] the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
Assim como um pae se compadece de seus filhos, assim o Senhor se compadece d'aquelles que o temem.
14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we [are] dust.
Pois elle conhece a nossa estructura, lembra-se de que somos pó.
15 [As for] man, his days [are] as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
Emquanto ao homem, os seus dias são como a herva, como a flor do campo assim floresce.
16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
Passando por ella o vento, logo se vae, e o seu logar não será mais conhecido.
17 But the mercy of the LORD [is] from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;
Mas a misericordia do Senhor é desde a eternidade e até á eternidade sobre aquelles que o temem, e a sua justiça sobre os filhos dos filhos;
18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
Sobre aquelles que guardam o seu concerto, e sobre os que se lembram dos seus mandamentos para os cumprirem.
19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
O Senhor tem estabelecido o seu throno nos céus, e o seu reino domina sobre tudo.
20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
Bemdizei ao Senhor, todos os seus anjos, vós que excedeis em força, que guardaes os seus mandamentos, obedecendo á voz da sua palavra.
21 Bless ye the LORD, all [ye] his hosts; [ye] ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
Bemdizei ao Senhor, todos os seus exercitos, vós, ministros seus, que executaes o seu beneplacito.
22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
Bemdizei ao Senhor, todas as suas obras, em todos os logares do seu dominio; bemdize, ó alma minha, ao Senhor.
