Psalms 101

1 A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

೧ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ನೀತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹಾಡುವೆನು; ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು.

2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

೨ಸನ್ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯುವೆನು; ನನಗೆ ಯಾವಾಗ ದರ್ಶನಕೊಡುವಿ? ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೇ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.

3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; [it] shall not cleave to me.

೩ಯಾವ ನೀಚವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ದುರಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಅದರ ಗೊಡವೆಯೇ ನನಗೆ ಬೇಡ.

4 A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked [person].

೪ಮೂರ್ಖತನವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಲಿ; ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದಿರುವೆನು.

5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

೫ಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರೆಯವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಾಡಿ ಹೇಳುವವನನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವೆನು; ಸೊಕ್ಕಿನ ಕಣ್ಣೂ, ಉಬ್ಬಿದ ಮನಸ್ಸೂ ಉಳ್ಳವನನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

6 Mine eyes [shall be] upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

೬ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು; ಅವರೇ ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಬೇಕು, ಸನ್ಮಾರ್ಗಿಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕು.

7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

೭ಮೋಸಗಾರನು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲೇಬಾರದು; ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಕೂಡದು.

8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.

೮ಯೆಹೋವನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಡುಕರೇ ಉಳಿಯದಂತೆ, ಪ್ರತಿ ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶದ ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬರುವೆನು.
