Psalms 1
1 Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
၁သူယုတ်မာတို့၏အကြံဉာဏ်ကိုလက်မခံ၊ အပြစ်ကူးသူတို့၏စံနမူနာကိုမလိုက်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကိုပစ်ပယ်သူတို့နှင့်လည်း မပေါင်းမဖော်သောသူတို့သည်မင်္ဂလာရှိကြ၏။
2 But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
၂သူတို့သည်ထာဝရဘုရား၏တရားတော်ကိုလိုက်လျှောက်၍ နေ့ညမပြတ်လေ့လာဆင်ခြင်မှုဖြင့်ပျော်မွေ့တတ်ကြ၏။
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
၃ထိုသူတို့သည်ချောင်းအနီးတွင်ပေါက်၍လျော်ကန်သင့်မြတ်ချိန်၌ အသီးသီးလျက်အရွက်မညှိုးမနွမ်းတတ်သောအပင်များနှင့်တူ၏။ သူတို့သည်ပြုလေသမျှအမှုကိစ္စတို့တွင်အောင်မြင်တတ်၏။
4 The ungodly [are] not so: but [are] like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
၄သို့ရာတွင်၊သူယုတ်မာတို့မူကားအဘယ်နည်းနှင့်မျှဤသို့မဖြစ်နိုင်။ သူတို့သည်လေတိုက်ရာတွင်လွင့်ပါသွားတတ်သောဖွဲနှင့်တူကြ၏။
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
၅အပြစ်ကူးသူတို့သည်ဘုရားသခင် အပြစ်ဒဏ်စီရင်ခြင်းကိုခံရကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့သည်ဘုရားသခင်၏လူစုတော်အပေါင်းအသင်းထဲသို့မဝင်ရကြ။
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
၆ထာဝရဘုရားသည်သူတော်ကောင်းများကိုပို့ဆောင်စောင့်ထိန်းတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။ သူယုတ်မာတို့မူကားဆုံးရှုံးပျက်စီးရကြလိမ့်မည်။
