Proverbs 3
1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
১হে মোৰ পুত্র, মোৰ আদেশবোৰ নাপাহৰিবা, আৰু তোমাৰ হৃদয়ত মোৰ শিক্ষাবোৰ পালন কৰিবা।
2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
২কাৰণ এইবোৰৰ দ্বাৰাই তোমাৰ জীৱনৰ আয়ুস আৰু বছৰবোৰ বৃ্দ্ধি পাব, আৰু জীৱনত শান্তি লাভ কৰিবা।
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
৩বিশ্বাসযোগ্য আৰু নিৰ্ভৰযোগ্য গুৰুত্বপূর্ণ প্ৰতিশ্রুতিয়ে তোমাক কেতিয়াও ত্যাগ নকৰক; দুয়োকো তুমি ডিঙিত বান্ধি ৰাখিবা, আৰু তোমাৰ হৃদয় ফলিত সেইবোৰ লিখি থ’বা।
4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
৪তেতিয়া তুমি ঈশ্বৰ আৰু মানুহৰ দৃষ্টিত অনুগ্ৰহ আৰু সুযশস্যা পাবা।
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
৫তুমি সমস্ত মনেৰে সৈতে যিহোৱাক বিশ্বাস কৰা; আৰু তোমাৰ নিজৰ বিবেচনাত তুমি নিৰ্ভৰ নকৰিবা।
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
৬তোমাৰ সকলো পথত তেওঁক স্বীকাৰ কৰিবা, আৰু তেওঁ তোমাৰ পথবোৰ পোন কৰিব।
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
৭তুমি নিজৰ দৃষ্টিত নিজে জ্ঞানী নহ’বা; যিহোৱালৈ ভয় ৰাখা, আৰু পাপৰ পৰা ঘূৰি আহাঁ।
8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
৮ই তোমাৰ শৰীৰ সুস্থ কৰিব, আৰু তোমাৰ দেহলৈ সতেজতা আনিব।
9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
৯আৰু তোমাৰ সম্পত্তিৰে, আৰু তোমাৰ সকলো উৎপাদনৰ প্রথম ফলৰ সৈতে যিহোৱাক সমাদৰ কৰা।
10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
১০সেয়ে তোমাৰ ভঁৰালবোৰ পৰিপূৰ্ণ হ’ব, আৰু তোমাৰ দ্ৰাক্ষাৰসৰ পাত্র নতুন দ্ৰাক্ষাৰসেৰে উপচি পৰিব।
11 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:
১১হে মোৰ পুত্র, যিহোৱাৰ নিয়ম প্রণালী হেয়জ্ঞান নকৰিবা; আৰু তেওঁৰ অনুযোগ হেয়জ্ঞান নকৰিবা।
12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son [in whom] he delighteth.
১২পিতৃক সন্তুষ্ট কৰা পুত্রক যেনেকৈ পিতৃয়ে প্রেম কৰে; ঈশ্বৰেও যি জনক প্ৰেম কৰে, সেই জনক তেনেকৈ অনুযোগ কৰে।
13 Happy [is] the man [that] findeth wisdom, and the man [that] getteth understanding.
১৩যি মানুহে প্রজ্ঞা লাভ কৰে তেওঁ সুখী হয়, আৰু তেওঁ সুবিবেচনাও লাভ কৰে।
14 For the merchandise of it [is] better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
১৪ৰূপৰ পৰিৱৰ্তে পোৱা লাভতকৈ প্ৰজ্ঞাৰ পৰা পোৱা লাভ উত্তম। আৰু ইয়াৰ লাভ সোণতকৈও উত্তম।
15 She [is] more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
১৫প্রজ্ঞা অলঙ্কাৰতকৈয়ো বহুমূলীয়া; আৰু তোমাৰ অভিলাষৰ কোনো বস্তুকেই প্রজ্ঞাৰ লগত তুলনা কৰিব নোৱাৰি।
16 Length of days [is] in her right hand; [and] in her left hand riches and honour.
১৬তেওঁৰ সোঁ হাতত দীৰ্ঘদিনবোৰ আছে, আৰু বাওঁহাত সমৃদ্ধিশালী আৰু সন্মানীয়।
17 Her ways [are] ways of pleasantness, and all her paths [are] peace.
১৭তেওঁৰ পথবোৰ দয়াৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ; আৰু তেওঁৰ সকলো পথ শান্তিময়।
18 She [is] a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy [is every one] that retaineth her.
১৮যিসকলে তেওঁক ধৰি ৰাখে, তেওঁলোকৰ বাবে তেওঁ জীৱনদায়ক বৃক্ষস্বৰূপ; আৰু যি সকলে তেওঁক ধৰি ৰাখে তেওঁলোক সুখী।
19 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
১৯যিহোৱাই প্রজ্ঞাৰ দ্বাৰাই পৃথিৱী স্থাপন কৰিলে, আৰু সুবুদ্ধিৰ দ্বাৰাই আকাশ-মণ্ডল প্রতিষ্ঠা কৰিলে।
20 By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
২০তেওঁৰ জ্ঞানৰ দ্বাৰাই গভীৰ অংশ মুক্ত হ’ল; আৰু ডাৱৰে নিয়ৰ বৰষালে।
21 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
২১হে মোৰ পুত্র, তুমি সেই সকলোকে তোমাৰ দৃষ্টিৰ পৰা আতৰ হ’বলৈ নিদিবা; তুমি ন্যায় বিচাৰ আৰু বিচক্ষনতা ধৰি ৰাখিবা।
22 So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.
২২তেওঁলোক তোমাৰ প্ৰাণৰ জীৱন স্বৰূপ হ’ব; আৰু অনুগ্রহৰ অলংকাৰ তোমাৰ ডিঙিৰ শোভাস্বৰূপ হ’ব।
23 Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.
২৩তেতিয়া তুমি তোমাৰ পথত সুৰক্ষিত হৈ চলিব পাৰিবা; আৰু তোমাৰ ভৰিয়ে উজুতি নাখাব।
24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
২৪তুমি শয়ন কৰাৰ সময়ত তোমাৰ ভয় নালাগিব; তুমি যেতিয়া শুবা; তেতিয়া তোমাৰ টোপনি সুমধুৰ হ’ব।
25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.
২৫তুমি আকস্মিক বিপদলৈ বা দুষ্টবোৰৰ দ্বাৰাই অহা বিনাশ আহিব, তেতিয়া তুমি ভয় নকৰিবা।
26 For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.
২৬কাৰণ যিহোৱা তোমাৰ পক্ষত থাকিব; আৰু তেওঁ তোমাৰ ভৰি ফান্দত নপৰাকৈ ৰাখিব।
27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do [it].
২৭তোমাৰ উপকাৰ কৰিবৰ সমৰ্থ থাকিলে, যিসকলক উপকাৰৰ প্রয়োজন, তেওঁলোকক উপকাৰ নকৰাকৈ নাথাকিবা।
28 Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.
২৮যেতিয়া তোমাৰ হাতত ধন থাকে, তেতিয়া ওচৰ চুবুৰীয়াক “যোৱা, পুনৰ আহিবা, মই কাইলৈ তোমাক দিম,” এইদৰে নক’বা
29 Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.
২৯যি জনে তোমাক বিশ্বাস কৰে আৰু তোমাৰ ওচৰত থাকে, সেই ওচৰ চুবুৰীয়াক অনিষ্ট কৰিবলৈ পৰিকল্পনা নকৰিবা।
30 Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.
৩০তেওঁ যেতিয়া তোমাৰ কোনো অনিষ্ট নকৰে, তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ লগত বিনা কাৰণত তৰ্ক নকৰিবা।
31 Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.
৩১উগ্র ব্যক্তিক ভয় নকৰিবা; বা তেওঁৰ কোনো পথ অনুসৰণ নকৰিবা।
32 For the froward [is] abomination to the LORD: but his secret [is] with the righteous.
৩২কাৰণ কুটিললোক যিহোৱাৰ ঘৃণনীয়; কিন্তু তেওঁ ন্যায়নিষ্ঠ সকলৰ লগত তেওঁৰ আস্থা থাকে।
33 The curse of the LORD [is] in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
৩৩দুষ্ট লোকৰ ঘৰত যিহোৱাৰ শাও থাকে; কিন্তু তেওঁ ধাৰ্মিকৰ নিবাসক আশীৰ্ব্বাদযুক্ত কৰে।
34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
৩৪তেওঁ নিন্দকসকলক নিন্দা কৰে; কিন্তু নম্ৰসকলক অনুগ্ৰহ দান কৰে।
35 The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.
৩৫জ্ঞানীসকল সন্মানৰ অধিকাৰী হয়; কিন্তু অজ্ঞানী সকল তেওঁলোকৰ লাজতেই উর্ধ্বমুখী হ’ব।
