Philippians 1
1 Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

2 Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ.
Tukummendela umbone ni chitendewele kutyochela kwa Akunnungu Atati ŵetu ni kwa Ambuje ŵetu Kilisito Yesu.
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
Ngwatogolela Akunnungu ŵangu katema kose pangunkumbuchila.
4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
Katema kose pangumpopelela ŵanyamwe wose, ngupopela njisengwaga,
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
kwa yankuti kamulangana ni une, pa masengo ga kwalalichila ŵandu Ngani Jambone, chitandile lyuŵa lyaandanda lila mpaka lelo jino.
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ:
Isyene ngumanyilila kuti Akunnungu juŵagatandisye masengo gambone ga mmitima mwenu, chagajendelechesye mpaka pachigamalile pa lyuŵa lya kuuja Kilisito Yesu lila.
7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
Nguŵajilwa kuganisya kwanti nyi nkati ŵanyamwe, ligongo ngunkumbuchila katema kose. Pakuŵa mwakamulene none pa umbone ula umbegwilwe ni Akunnungu wa kujichenjela ni kujilimbisya Ngani Jambone katema panaliji mu chitaŵiko ni panaliji nechelelwe.
8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
Akunnungu ali jwaumboni jwangu kuti ngusala isyene kuti ngunnonyela ŵanyamwe kwa ntima wangu wose, kwa unonyelo ulaula wa Kilisito Yesu.
9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all judgment;
Ngwapopelela Akunnungu kuti unonyelo wenu ujonjecheke kukula nnopennope ni nkole lunda ni umanyilisi,
10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
kuti nkombole kusagula indu yaili yambone. Sooni mitima jenu jiwoneche jeswela, ŵangali magambo mpaka lyuŵa lya kuuja Kilisito lila.
11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
Utame wenu tiugumbaswe ipanganyo yambone paujo pa Akunnungu yaikutyochela kwa Kilisito Yesu pe, kwa ligongo lya ukulu ni ulape wa Akunnungu.
12 But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things [which happened] unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
Achalongo achinjangu ngusaka mmanyilile kuti, iyasimene yangamwisye kwannope kwenesya Ngani Jambone.
13 So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other [places];
Kwa ligongo lyo ŵakulindilila wose ŵa nyuumba ja mwenye, pamo ni ŵane wose, akumanyilila kuti ndili mchitaŵiko, ligongo ngwatumichila Kilisito.
14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
Kutaŵikwa kwangu kwatesile achalongo ŵajinji ŵaŵankulupilile Ambuje kuchalila kwannope mu kulalichila Liloŵe lya Akunnungu pangali lipamba.
15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
Isyene, ŵampepe mwa ŵandu wo akulalichila Ngani Jambone ja Kilisito kwa wiu ni umenyani, nambo ŵandu ŵane akulalichila Ngani Jambone ja Kilisito kwa ntima wambone wa kwakamuchisya ŵandu.
16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
Ŵandu ŵa ntima wambone akulalichila Ngani Jambone kwa ntima wa unonyelo, akumanyilila kuti Akunnungu ambele masengo ga, gakujichenjela Ngani Jambone.
17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
Ŵandu ŵane wo akulalichila Ngani Jambone ja Kilisito kwa ntima wangalumbana ni ngaŵa kwa ntima wambone. Ŵanyawo akuganichisya kuti tanyonjechesye kulaga nkutaŵikwa kwangu.
18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
Ngaŵa chindu kwangu une! Une ngusengwa iŵaga ŵandu akulalichila Ngani Jambone ja Kilisito mwamulimose, atamuno kwa ntima wambone pane kwa ntima wangalumbana. Sooni tinyendelechele kusengwa,
19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
pakuŵa ngumanyilila kuti kwakupopela kwenu ni kwa ukamuchisyo wa Mbumu jwa Che Yesu Kilisito chingulupuswe kutyochela nkutaŵikwa.
20 According to my earnest expectation and [my] hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but [that] with all boldness, as always, [so] now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether [it be] by life, or by death.
Chingusaka ni chingulolela, ninajaluche kwa kuleka kupanganya ingusachilwa kupanganya. Nambo ngamuliswe ntima moŵa gose nnopennope sambano, kuti nankusye Kilisito mu utame mu chiilu changu, iŵaga ndili jwanjumi pane ndili wile.
21 For to me to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain.
Pakuŵa kwa uneji kutama kuli kwatumichila Kilisito ni kuwa kuli kwambone nnope.
22 But if I live in the flesh, this [is] the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
Nambo iŵaga kwendelechela kutama chingombole kupanganya masengo kwa kwakamuchisya ŵandu ŵane, pelepo nganguchimanyilila chakusagula.
23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
Ndili pamalekano, ngusaka kutyoka mu chilambo chino nyaule kutama ni Kilisito pakuŵa chelecho chili chindu chambone kupunda,
24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh [is] more needful for you.
nambo chili chindu chambone nnope kwa ligongo lya ŵanyamwe najendelechelaga kutama.
25 And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
None ngumanyilila kuti chindame. Ni chinyendelechele kutama ni ŵanyamwe wose kuti nyendelechele kunkamuchisya mchikulupi ni kukola lukondwa.
26 That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.
Nipele pachinjiŵa sooni ni ŵanyamwe chinkole ligongo lya kupunda kulifunila nkati une mu utame wenu nkulumbikana ni Kilisito Yesu.
27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
Nipele, chachikusachilwa utame wenu uŵe wakuŵajilana ni Ngani Jambone ja Kilisito, kuti atamuno naikaga pane iŵaga ngangwika, mbilikane kuti nkwima chiimile ni kwa ntima umo, ni wose kwa pamo nchichichenjelaga chikulupi chachikwika ni Ngani Jambone.
28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
Ngasimwajogopa kose ŵammagongo ŵenu, katema kose muukamulisye ntima. Chelechi chichiŵe chimanyisyo chisyene kwa ŵanyawo kuti chajonasiche, nambo ŵanyamwe chimpunde pakuŵa ukulupusyo ukutyochela kwa Akunnungu.
29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
Pakuŵa Akunnungu ampele ŵanyamwe lipesa lya kwatumichila Kilisito, ngaŵa kwa kukulupilila pe, nambo ni kwakulagaswa kwa ligongo lyao.
30 Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear [to be] in me.
Sambano nkukamulana none pa ngondo. Ngondo jijojo jimwaweni njimenyanaga kalakala mpaka sambano ndili kungondo mpela inkuti pakupilikana.
