Micah 3

1 And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; [Is it] not for you to know judgment?

我曾經說過：「雅各伯的首領，以色列家的官吏，請你們傾聽! 認識正義，豈不是你們分內的事﹖」

2 Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;

然而他們惡善好惡，從平民身上剝下他們的皮，從骨頭上剔下他們的肉。

3 Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.

他們吞食我百姓的肉，剝去他們的皮，折斷他們的骨頭，將他們切成碎塊，如釜中的肉，如鼎中的肉。

4 Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.

當他們呼求上主時，上主決不俯聽他們；反要掩面不理他們，因為他們行了窮凶極惡的事。

5 Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.

論及迷我百姓的先知，上主這樣說：當他們的牙齒有咀嚼的東西時，他們便呼喊：「和平。」但凡不將食物送到他們口上的，他們便宣佈「戰爭。」

6 Therefore night [shall be] unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.

因此，為你們只有黑夜而沒有神視，只有黑暗而沒有神諭；太陽必為先知而沒落，白畫必為他們而變為黑暗。

7 Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for [there is] no answer of God.

先知必將抱愧，巫士必將蒙羞，他們都要掩住自己的鬍鬚，因為沒有天主的答覆。

8 But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

至於我，我因上主的神而充滿 力量、正義和勇氣，向雅各伯指出她的邪惡，向以色列說明她的罪過。

9 Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.

雅各伯家的領袖，以色列家的官吏，請你們傾聽這事! 你們憎惡正義，曲解一切正理；

10 They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.

你們以血債建設耶路撒冷。

11 The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, [Is] not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.

她火首領為賄賂而審判，司祭為薪俸而設教，先知為銀錢而占卜，尚依賴上主說：「上主不是在我們中間嗎﹖災禍決不會臨在我們身上! 」

12 Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed [as] a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.

因此，為了你的緣故，熙雍必被耕耘有如一塊地．耶路撒冷必成為一堆廢墟，聖殿山必成為叢林中的一個丘陵。
