< Matthew 27 >
1 When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:
པྲབྷཱཏེ ཛཱཏེ པྲདྷཱནཡཱཛཀལོཀཔྲཱཙཱིནཱ ཡཱིཤུཾ ཧནྟུཾ ཏཏྤྲཏིཀཱུལཾ མནྟྲཡིཏྭཱ
2 And when they had bound him, they led [him] away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.
ཏཾ བདྭྭཱ ནཱིཏྭཱ པནྟཱིཡཔཱིལཱཏཱཁྱཱདྷིཔེ སམརྤཡཱམཱསུཿ།
3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
ཏཏོ ཡཱིཤོཿ པརཀརེཝྺརྤཡིཏཱ ཡིཧཱུདཱསྟཏྤྲཱཎཱདཎྜཱཛྙཱཾ ཝིདིཏྭཱ སནྟཔྟམནཱཿ པྲདྷཱནཡཱཛཀལོཀཔྲཱཙཱིནཱནཱཾ སམཀྵཾ ཏཱསྟྲཱིཾཤནྨུདྲཱཿ པྲཏིདཱཡཱཝཱདཱིཏ྄,
4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What [is that] to us? see thou [to that].
ཨེཏནྣིརཱགོནརཔྲཱཎཔརཀརཱརྤཎཱཏ྄ ཀལུཥཾ ཀྲྀཏཝཱནཧཾ། ཏདཱ ཏ ཨུདིཏཝནྟཿ, ཏེནཱསྨཱཀཾ ཀིཾ? ཏྭཡཱ ཏད྄ བུདྷྱཏཱམ྄།
5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
ཏཏོ ཡིཧཱུདཱ མནྡིརམདྷྱེ ཏཱ མུདྲཱ ནིཀྵིཔྱ པྲསྠིཏཝཱན྄ ཨིཏྭཱ ཙ སྭཡམཱཏྨཱནམུདྦབནྡྷ།
6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
པཤྩཱཏ྄ པྲདྷཱནཡཱཛཀཱསྟཱ མུདྲཱ ཨཱདཱཡ ཀཐིཏཝནྟཿ, ཨེཏཱ མུདྲཱཿ ཤོཎིཏམཱུལྱཾ ཏསྨཱད྄ བྷཱཎྜཱགཱརེ ན ནིདྷཱཏཝྱཱཿ།
7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in.
ཨནནྟརཾ ཏེ མནྟྲཡིཏྭཱ ཝིདེཤིནཱཾ ཤྨཤཱནསྠཱནཱཡ ཏཱབྷིཿ ཀུལཱལསྱ ཀྵེཏྲམཀྲཱིཎན྄།
8 Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
ཨཏོ྅དྱཱཔི ཏཏྶྠཱནཾ རཀྟཀྵེཏྲཾ ཝདནྟི།
9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;
ཨིཏྠཾ སཏི ཨིསྲཱཡེལཱིཡསནྟཱནཻ ཪྻསྱ མཱུལྱཾ ནིརུཔིཏཾ, ཏསྱ ཏྲིཾཤནྨུདྲཱམཱནཾ མཱུལྱཾ
10 And gave them for the potter’s field, as the Lord appointed me.
མཱཾ པྲཏི པརམེཤྭརསྱཱདེཤཱཏ྄ ཏེབྷྱ ཨཱདཱིཡཏ, ཏེན ཙ ཀུལཱལསྱ ཀྵེཏྲཾ ཀྲཱིཏམིཏི ཡདྭཙནཾ ཡིརིམིཡབྷཝིཥྱདྭཱདིནཱ པྲོཀྟཾ ཏཏ྄ ཏདཱསིདྷྱཏ྄།
11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.
ཨནནྟརཾ ཡཱིཤཽ ཏདདྷིཔཏེཿ སམྨུཁ ཨུཔཏིཥྛཏི ས ཏཾ པཔྲཙྪ, ཏྭཾ ཀིཾ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡཱནཱཾ རཱཛཱ? ཏདཱ ཡཱིཤུསྟམཝདཏ྄, ཏྭཾ སཏྱམུཀྟཝཱན྄།
12 And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
ཀིནྟུ པྲདྷཱནཡཱཛཀཔྲཱཙཱིནཻརབྷིཡུཀྟེན ཏེན ཀིམཔི ན པྲཏྱཝཱདི།
13 Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?
ཏཏཿ པཱིལཱཏེན ས ཨུདིཏཿ, ཨིམེ ཏྭཏྤྲཏིཀཱུལཏཿ ཀཏི ཀཏི སཱཀྵྱཾ དདཏི, ཏཏ྄ ཏྭཾ ན ཤྲྀཎོཥི?
14 And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.
ཏཐཱཔི ས ཏེཥཱམེཀསྱཱཔི ཝཙས ཨུཏྟརཾ ནོདིཏཝཱན྄; ཏེན སོ྅དྷིཔཏི རྨཧཱཙིཏྲཾ ཝིདཱམཱས།
15 Now at [that] feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.
ཨནྱཙྩ ཏནྨཧཀཱལེ྅དྷིཔཏེརེཏཱདྲྀཤཱི རཱཏིརཱསཱིཏ྄, པྲཛཱ ཡཾ ཀཉྩན བནྡྷིནཾ ཡཱཙནྟེ, ཏམེཝ ས མོཙཡཏཱིཏི།
16 And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.
ཏདཱནཱིཾ བརབྦཱནཱམཱ ཀཤྩིཏ྄ ཁྱཱཏབནྡྷྱཱསཱིཏ྄།
17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?
ཏཏཿ པཱིལཱཏསྟཏྲ མིལིཏཱན྄ ལོཀཱན྄ ཨཔྲྀཙྪཏ྄, ཨེཥ བརབྦཱ བནྡྷཱི ཁྲཱིཥྚཝིཁྱཱཏོ ཡཱིཤུཤྩཻཏཡོཿ ཀཾ མོཙཡིཥྱཱམི? ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ ཀིམཱིཔྶིཏཾ?
18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.
ཏཻརཱིརྵྱཡཱ ས སམརྤིཏ ཨིཏི ས ཛྙཱཏཝཱན྄།
19 When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.
ཨཔརཾ ཝིཙཱརཱསནོཔཝེཤནཀཱལེ པཱིལཱཏསྱ པཏྣཱི བྷྲྀཏྱཾ པྲཧིཏྱ ཏསྨཻ ཀཐཡཱམཱས, ཏཾ དྷཱརྨྨིཀམནུཛཾ པྲཏི ཏྭཡཱ ཀིམཔི ན ཀརྟྟཝྱཾ; ཡསྨཱཏ྄ ཏཏྐྲྀཏེ྅དྱཱཧཾ སྭཔྣེ པྲབྷཱུཏཀཥྚམལབྷེ།
20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
ཨནནྟརཾ པྲདྷཱནཡཱཛཀཔྲཱཙཱིནཱ བརབྦཱཾ ཡཱཙིཏྭཱདཱཏུཾ ཡཱིཤུཉྩ ཧནྟུཾ སཀལལོཀཱན྄ པྲཱཝརྟྟཡན྄།
21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.
ཏཏོ྅དྷིཔཏིསྟཱན྄ པྲྀཥྚཝཱན྄, ཨེཏཡོཿ ཀམཧཾ མོཙཡིཥྱཱམི? ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ ཀེཙྪཱ? ཏེ པྲོཙུ རྦརབྦཱཾ།
22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? [They] all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
ཏདཱ པཱིལཱཏཿ པཔྲཙྪ, ཏརྷི ཡཾ ཁྲཱིཥྚཾ ཝདནྟི, ཏཾ ཡཱིཤུཾ ཀིཾ ཀརིཥྱཱམི? སཪྻྭེ ཀཐཡཱམཱསུཿ, ས ཀྲུཤེན ཝིདྷྱཏཱཾ།
23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
ཏཏོ྅དྷིཔཏིརཝཱདཱིཏ྄, ཀུཏཿ? ཀིཾ ཏེནཱཔརཱདྡྷཾ? ཀིནྟུ ཏེ པུནརུཙཻ རྫགདུཿ, ས ཀྲུཤེན ཝིདྷྱཏཱཾ།
24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but [that] rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed [his] hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye [to it].
ཏདཱ ནིཛཝཱཀྱམགྲཱཧྱམབྷཱུཏ྄, ཀལཧཤྩཱཔྱབྷཱུཏ྄, པཱིལཱཏ ཨིཏི ཝིལོཀྱ ལོཀཱནཱཾ སམཀྵཾ ཏོཡམཱདཱཡ ཀརཽ པྲཀྵཱལྱཱཝོཙཏ྄, ཨེཏསྱ དྷཱརྨྨིཀམནུཥྱསྱ ཤོཎིཏཔཱཏེ ནིརྡོཥོ྅ཧཾ, ཡུཥྨཱབྷིརེཝ ཏད྄ བུདྷྱཏཱཾ།
25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood [be] on us, and on our children.
ཏདཱ སཪྻྭཱཿ པྲཛཱཿ པྲཏྱཝོཙན྄, ཏསྱ ཤོཎིཏཔཱཏཱཔརཱདྷོ྅སྨཱཀམ྄ ཨསྨཏྶནྟཱནཱནཱཉྩོཔརི བྷཝཏུ།
26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered [him] to be crucified.
ཏཏཿ ས ཏེཥཱཾ སམཱིཔེ བརབྦཱཾ མོཙཡཱམཱས ཡཱིཤུནྟུ ཀཥཱབྷིརཱཧཏྱ ཀྲུཤེན ཝེདྷིཏུཾ སམརྤཡཱམཱས།
27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band [of soldiers].
ཨནནྟརམ྄ ཨདྷིཔཏེཿ སེནཱ ཨདྷིཔཏེ རྒྲྀཧཾ ཡཱིཤུམཱནཱིཡ ཏསྱ སམཱིཔེ སེནཱསམཱུཧཾ སཾཛགྲྀཧུཿ།
28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
ཏཏསྟེ ཏསྱ ཝསནཾ མོཙཡིཏྭཱ ཀྲྀཥྞལོཧིཏཝརྞཝསནཾ པརིདྷཱཔཡཱམཱསུཿ
29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put [it] upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
ཀཎྚཀཱནཱཾ མུཀུཊཾ ནིརྨྨཱཡ ཏཙྪིརསི དདུཿ, ཏསྱ དཀྵིཎཀརེ ཝེཏྲམེཀཾ དཏྟྭཱ ཏསྱ སམྨུཁེ ཛཱནཱུནི པཱཏཡིཏྭཱ, ཧེ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡཱནཱཾ རཱཛན྄, ཏུབྷྱཾ ནམ ཨིཏྱུཀྟྭཱ ཏཾ ཏིརཤྩཀྲུཿ,
30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
ཏཏསྟསྱ གཱཏྲེ ནིཥྛཱིཝཾ དཏྭཱ ཏེན ཝེཏྲེཎ ཤིར ཨཱཛགྷྣུཿ།
31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify [him].
ཨིཏྠཾ ཏཾ ཏིརསྐྲྀཏྱ ཏད྄ ཝསནཾ མོཙཡིཏྭཱ པུནརྣིཛཝསནཾ པརིདྷཱཔཡཱཉྩཀྲུཿ, ཏཾ ཀྲུཤེན ཝེདྷིཏུཾ ནཱིཏཝནྟཿ།
32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
པཤྩཱཏྟེ བཧིརྦྷཱུཡ ཀུརཱིཎཱིཡཾ ཤིམོནྣཱམཀམེཀཾ ཝིལོཀྱ ཀྲུཤཾ ཝོཌྷུཾ ཏམཱདདིརེ།
33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
ཨནནྟརཾ གུལྒལྟཱམ྄ ཨརྠཱཏ྄ ཤིརསྐཔཱལནཱམཀསྠཱནམུ པསྠཱཡ ཏེ ཡཱིཤཝེ པིཏྟམིཤྲིཏཱམླརསཾ པཱཏུཾ དདུཿ,
34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted [thereof], he would not drink.
ཀིནྟུ ས ཏམཱསྭཱདྱ ན པཔཽ།
35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
ཏདཱནཱིཾ ཏེ ཏཾ ཀྲུཤེན སཾཝིདྷྱ ཏསྱ ཝསནཱནི གུཊིཀཱཔཱཏེན ཝིབྷཛྱ ཛགྲྀཧུཿ, ཏསྨཱཏ྄, ཝིབྷཛནྟེ྅དྷརཱིཡཾ མེ ཏེ མནུཥྱཱཿ པརསྤརཾ། མདུཏྟརཱིཡཝསྟྲཱརྠཾ གུཊིཀཱཾ པཱཏཡནྟི ཙ༎ ཡདེཏདྭཙནཾ བྷཝིཥྱདྭཱདིབྷིརུཀྟམཱསཱིཏ྄, ཏདཱ ཏད྄ ཨསིདྷྱཏ྄,
36 And sitting down they watched him there;
པཤྩཱཏ྄ ཏེ ཏཏྲོཔཝིཤྱ ཏདྲཀྵཎཀཪྻྭཎི ནིཡུཀྟཱསྟསྠུཿ།
37 And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
ཨཔརམ྄ ཨེཥ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡཱནཱཾ རཱཛཱ ཡཱིཤུརིཏྱཔཝཱདལིཔིཔཏྲཾ ཏཙྪིརས ཨཱུརྡྭྭེ ཡོཛཡཱམཱསུཿ།
38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.
ཏཏསྟསྱ ཝཱམེ དཀྵིཎེ ཙ དྭཽ ཙཻརཽ ཏེན སཱཀཾ ཀྲུཤེན ཝིཝིདྷུཿ།
39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,
ཏདཱ པཱནྠཱ ནིཛཤིརོ ལཱཌཡིཏྭཱ ཏཾ ནིནྡནྟོ ཛགདུཿ,
40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest [it] in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
ཧེ ཨཱིཤྭརམནྡིརབྷཉྫཀ དིནཏྲཡེ ཏནྣིརྨྨཱཏཿ སྭཾ རཀྵ, ཙེཏྟྭམཱིཤྭརསུཏསྟརྷི ཀྲུཤཱདཝརོཧ།
41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking [him], with the scribes and elders, said,
པྲདྷཱནཡཱཛཀཱདྷྱཱཔཀཔྲཱཙཱིནཱཤྩ ཏཐཱ ཏིརསྐྲྀཏྱ ཛགདུཿ,
42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
སོ྅ནྱཛནཱནཱཝཏ྄, ཀིནྟུ སྭམཝིཏུཾ ན ཤཀྣོཏི། ཡདཱིསྲཱཡེལོ རཱཛཱ བྷཝེཏ྄, ཏརྷཱིདཱནཱིམེཝ ཀྲུཤཱདཝརོཧཏུ, ཏེན ཏཾ ཝཡཾ པྲཏྱེཥྱཱམཿ།
43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
ས ཨཱིཤྭརེ པྲཏྱཱཤཱམཀརོཏ྄, ཡདཱིཤྭརསྟསྨིན྄ སནྟུཥྚསྟརྷཱིདཱནཱིམེཝ ཏམཝེཏ྄, ཡཏཿ ས ཨུཀྟཝཱན྄ ཨཧམཱིཤྭརསུཏཿ།
44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
ཡཽ སྟེནཽ སཱཀཾ ཏེན ཀྲུཤེན ཝིདྡྷཽ ཏཽ ཏདྭདེཝ ཏཾ ནིནིནྡཏུཿ།
45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
ཏདཱ དྭིཏཱིཡཡཱམཱཏ྄ ཏྲྀཏཱིཡཡཱམཾ ཡཱཝཏ྄ སཪྻྭདེཤེ ཏམིརཾ བབྷཱུཝ,
46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
ཏྲྀཏཱིཡཡཱམེ "ཨེལཱི ཨེལཱི ལཱམཱ ཤིཝཀྟནཱི", ཨརྠཱཏ྄ མདཱིཤྭར མདཱིཤྭར ཀུཏོ མཱམཏྱཱཀྵཱིཿ? ཡཱིཤུརུཙྩཻརིཏི ཛགཱད།
47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard [that], said, This [man] calleth for Elias.
ཏདཱ ཏཏྲ སྠིཏཱཿ ཀེཙིཏ྄ ཏཏ྄ ཤྲུཏྭཱ བབྷཱཥིརེ, ཨཡམ྄ ཨེལིཡམཱཧཱུཡཏི།
48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled [it] with vinegar, and put [it] on a reed, and gave him to drink.
ཏེཥཱཾ མདྷྱཱད྄ ཨེཀཿ ཤཱིགྷྲཾ གཏྭཱ སྤཉྫཾ གྲྀཧཱིཏྭཱ ཏཏྲཱམླརསཾ དཏྟྭཱ ནལེན པཱཏུཾ ཏསྨཻ དདཽ།
49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.
ཨིཏརེ྅ཀཐཡན྄ ཏིཥྛཏ, ཏཾ རཀྵིཏུམ྄ ཨེལིཡ ཨཱཡཱཏི ནཝེཏི པཤྱཱམཿ།
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
ཡཱིཤུཿ པུནརུཙཻརཱཧཱུཡ པྲཱཎཱན྄ ཛཧཽ།
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
ཏཏོ མནྡིརསྱ ཝིཙྪེདཝསནམ྄ ཨཱུརྡྭྭཱདདྷོ ཡཱཝཏ྄ ཚིདྱམཱནཾ དྭིདྷཱབྷཝཏ྄,
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
བྷཱུམིཤྩཀམྤེ བྷཱུདྷརོཝྱདཱིཪྻྱཏ ཙ། ཤྨཤཱནེ མུཀྟེ བྷཱུརིཔུཎྱཝཏཱཾ སུཔྟདེཧཱ ཨུདཏིཥྛན྄,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
ཤྨཤཱནཱད྄ ཝཧིརྦྷཱུཡ ཏདུཏྠཱནཱཏ྄ པརཾ པུཎྱཔུརཾ གཏྭཱ བཧུཛནཱན྄ དརྴཡཱམཱསུཿ།
54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
ཡཱིཤུརཀྵཎཱཡ ནིཡུཀྟཿ ཤཏསེནཱཔཏིསྟཏྶངྒིནཤྩ ཏཱདྲྀཤཱིཾ བྷཱུཀམྤཱདིགྷཊནཱཾ དྲྀཥྚྭཱ བྷཱིཏཱ ཨཝདན྄, ཨེཥ ཨཱིཤྭརཔུཏྲོ བྷཝཏི།
55 And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:
ཡཱ བཧུཡོཥིཏོ ཡཱིཤུཾ སེཝམཱནཱ གཱལཱིལསྟཏྤཤྩཱདཱགཏཱསྟཱསཱཾ མདྷྱེ
56 Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee’s children.
མགྡལཱིནཱི མརིཡམ྄ ཡཱཀཱུབྱོཤྱོ རྨཱཏཱ ཡཱ མརིཡམ྄ སིབདིཡཔུཏྲཡོ རྨཱཏཱ ཙ ཡོཥིཏ ཨེཏཱ དཱུརེ ཏིཥྛནྟྱོ དདྲྀཤུཿ།
57 When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathæa, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus’ disciple:
སནྡྷྱཱཡཱཾ སཏྱམ྄ ཨརིམཐིཡཱནགརསྱ ཡཱུཥཕྣཱམཱ དྷནཱི མནུཛོ ཡཱིཤོཿ ཤིཥྱཏྭཱཏ྄
58 He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
པཱིལཱཏསྱ སམཱིཔཾ གཏྭཱ ཡཱིཤོཿ ཀཱཡཾ ཡཡཱཙེ, ཏེན པཱིལཱཏཿ ཀཱཡཾ དཱཏུམ྄ ཨཱདིདེཤ།
59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
ཡཱུཥཕ྄ ཏཏྐཱཡཾ ནཱིཏྭཱ ཤུཙིཝསྟྲེཎཱཙྪཱདྱ
60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.
སྭཱརྠཾ ཤཻལེ ཡཏ྄ ཤྨཤཱནཾ ཙཁཱན, ཏནྨདྷྱེ ཏཏྐཱཡཾ ནིདྷཱཡ ཏསྱ དྭཱརི ཝྲྀཧཏྤཱཥཱཎཾ དདཽ།
61 And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.
ཀིནྟུ མགྡལཱིནཱི མརིཡམ྄ ཨནྱམརིཡམ྄ ཨེཏེ སྟྲིཡཽ ཏཏྲ ཤྨཤཱནསམྨུཁ ཨུཔཝིཝིཤཏུཿ།
62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
ཏདནནྟརཾ ནིསྟཱརོཏྶཝསྱཱཡོཛནདིནཱཏ྄ པརེ྅ཧནི པྲདྷཱནཡཱཛཀཱཿ ཕིརཱུཤིནཤྩ མིལིཏྭཱ པཱིལཱཏམུཔཱགཏྱཱཀཐཡན྄,
63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
ཧེ མཧེཙྪ ས པྲཏཱརཀོ ཛཱིཝན ཨཀཐཡཏ྄, དིནཏྲཡཱཏ྄ པརཾ ཤྨཤཱནཱདུཏྠཱསྱཱམི ཏདྭཱཀྱཾ སྨརཱམོ ཝཡཾ;
64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
ཏསྨཱཏ྄ ཏྲྀཏཱིཡདིནཾ ཡཱཝཏ྄ ཏཏ྄ ཤྨཤཱནཾ རཀྵིཏུམཱདིཤཏུ, ནོཙེཏ྄ ཏཙྪིཥྱཱ ཡཱམིནྱཱམཱགཏྱ ཏཾ ཧྲྀཏྭཱ ལོཀཱན྄ ཝདིཥྱནྟི, ས ཤྨཤཱནཱདུདཏིཥྛཏ྄, ཏཐཱ སཏི པྲཐམབྷྲཱནྟེཿ ཤེཥཱིཡབྷྲཱནྟི རྨཧཏཱི བྷཝིཥྱཏི།
65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make [it] as sure as ye can.
ཏདཱ པཱིལཱཏ ཨཝཱདཱིཏ྄, ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ སམཱིཔེ རཀྵིགཎ ཨཱསྟེ, ཡཱུཡཾ གཏྭཱ ཡཐཱ སཱདྷྱཾ རཀྵཡཏ།
66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.
ཏཏསྟེ གཏྭཱ ཏདྡཱུརཔཱཥཱཎཾ མུདྲཱངྐིཏཾ ཀྲྀཏྭཱ རཀྵིགཎཾ ནིཡོཛྱ ཤྨཤཱནཾ རཀྵཡཱམཱསུཿ།
