< Mark 14 >

1 After two days was [the feast of] the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put [him] to death.
Aka nnaanu na Twam ne Apiti Afahyɛ a ɛyɛ Yudafo ahomegye nna no adu no, asɔfo mpanyin ne Kyerɛwsɛm no akyerɛkyerɛfo no hwehwɛɛ nyansa kwan a wɔbɛfa so akyere Yesu, akum no.
2 But they said, Not on the feast [day], lest there be an uproar of the people.
Nanso wɔkae se, “Yɛrenkyere no afahyɛ no mu, anyɛ saa a ɛde basabasayɛ bɛba ɔman no mu.”
3 And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured [it] on his head.
Yesu wɔ Betania na ɔne Simon kwatani redidi no, ɔbea bi a okura ngo huamhuam bi a ne bo yɛ den baa hɔ. Otuu ano, hwie guu Yesu tirim.
4 And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?
Nea ɔbea yi yɛe no anyɛ nnipa a wɔte adidii no mu bi dɛ. Na wɔkae se wasɛe ngo no kwa.
5 For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.
Wɔkaa bio nso se, “Anka wobetumi atɔn ngo huamhuam yi anya sika pii na wɔde ama ahiafo.”
6 And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.
Nanso Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Munnyaa no! Adɛn nti na morehaw no wɔ ade pa a ɔyɛe no ho?
7 For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.
Mo ne ahiafo a mubetumi aboa wɔn bere biara mu na ɛte. Na me de, merenkyɛ wɔ mo nkyɛn.
8 She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.
Wayɛ nea obetumi. Wadi kan asra me nipadua ama da a wobesie me.
9 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, [this] also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.
Mereka akyerɛ mo se, baabiara a wɔbɛka asɛmpa no wɔ wiase no, wɔde nea ɔbea yi yɛe no bɛkae no akamfo no.”
10 And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.
Afei Yuda Iskariot, asuafo dumien no mu baako, kɔɔ asɔfo mpanyin no nkyɛn ne wɔn kɔhyehyɛɛ sɛnea obeyi Yesu ama wɔn no ho.
11 And when they heard [it], they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.
Asɔfo mpanyin no tee asɛm no, ɛyɛɛ wɔn anigye ma wɔhyɛɛ no bɔ. Efi saa bere no, ɔhwehwɛɛ sɛnea obenya Yesu ho kwan, ayi no ama bere a ɛsɛ mu.
12 And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?
Apiti Afahyɛ no da a edi kan a wokum Twam Afahyɛ guan no, nʼasuafo bisaa no faako a wɔbɛkɔ akodi Twam Afahyɛ no.
13 And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.

Baabiara a obewura no, monka nkyerɛ ofiwura no se, ‘Yɛn wura asoma yɛn se, yɛmmɛhwɛ dan a wɔasiesie ama yɛn a yebedi Twam Afahyɛ no wɔ mu no.’
15 And he will shew you a large upper room furnished [and] prepared: there make ready for us.
Ɔbɛkyerɛ mo abansoro asa kɛse bi a wɔasiesie mu. Ɛhɔ na monyɛ ahoboa mma yɛn.”
16 And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
Asuafo baanu no sii mu kɔɔ kurow no mu, na wohuu biribiara sɛnea Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn no pɛpɛɛpɛ, na wosiesiee Twam no wɔ hɔ.
17 And in the evening he cometh with the twelve.
Eduu anwummere no, Yesu ne dumien no bae.
18 And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.
Na wɔte hɔ redidi no, Yesu kae se, “Merema mo ate ase sɛ, mo a me ne mo reto nsa adidi yi mu baako beyi me ama.”
19 And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, [Is] it I? and another [said, Is] it I?
Wɔn nyinaa werɛ howee, na wofii ase bisaa mmaako mmaako se, “Ɛyɛ me ana?”
20 And he answered and said unto them, [It is] one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.
Obuaa wɔn se, “Ɛyɛ mo dumien a mo ne me reto nsa adidi yi mu baako.
21 The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.
Onipa Ba no rekɔ sɛnea wɔakyerɛw afa ne ho de, nanso onipa a obeyi no ama no, nnue! Sɛ wɔanwo saa onipa no mpo a, anka eye!”
22 And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake [it], and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.
Bere a wɔredidi no, Yesu faa brodo, na ohyiraa so bubui, na ɔde maa wɔn kae se, “Munnye nni; eyi ne me nipadua.”
23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave [it] to them: and they all drank of it.
Afei ɔfaa kuruwa a nsa wɔ mu, na ɔdaa ase no, ɔde maa wɔn, na wɔn nyinaa nom bi.
24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
Na ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Eyi ne me mogya a ɛyɛ apam no mogya a ɛhyɛ Apam Foforo no mu den a bebree nti wɔrehwie agu.
25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
Mereka akyerɛ mo se, merennom saa nsa yi bio da akosi da a me ne mo bɛnom bi bio wɔ Onyankopɔn Ahenni no mu.”
26 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
Wɔtoo dwom wiee no, wofii hɔ kɔɔ Ngo Bepɔw no so.
27 And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.
Woduu nea wɔrekɔ no, Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Mo nyinaa beguan agya me.” Efisɛ Onyankopɔn nam adiyifo no so kae se, “‘Mɛbɔ oguanhwɛfo no, na nguan no abɔ apete.’
28 But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.
Na sɛ miwu sɔre a, medi mo anim akɔ Galilea akohyia mo wɔ hɔ.”
29 But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet [will] not I.
Petro ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Sɛ nnipa nyinaa beguan agya wo a, me de, merenguan nnya wo da!”
30 And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, [even] in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.
Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Petro, nokware, anadwo yi, ansa na akokɔ bɛbɔn mprenu no, na woapa me mprɛnsa.”
31 But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.
Petro de anibere kae se, “Merempa wo da! Sɛ ɛsɛ sɛ me ne wo wu mpo a, merempa wo da!” Saa ara na wɔn a aka no nyinaa nso kae.
32 And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.
Yesu ne nʼasuafo no duu faako a wɔfrɛ hɔ Getsemane no, ɔka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafo no se, “Montena ha, na merekɔbɔ mpae aba.”
33 And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
Ɔfaa Petro, Yakobo ne Yohane kaa ne ho, na ne ho fii ase yeraw no, na ɔyɛɛ basaa.
34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
Ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Awerɛhow ahyɛ me kra ma. Montena ha, na mo ne me nwɛn.”
35 And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
Ɔkɔɔ nʼanim kakra, kobutuw fam, bɔɔ mpae se, sɛ ebetumi a, saa ahoyeraw no ntwa ne ho nkɔ.
36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things [are] possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
Ɔkae se, “Abba, Agya! Wutumi yɛ biribiara. Ma kuruwa yi ntwa me ho nkɔ. Nanso nea wopɛ na ɛnyɛ hɔ, na ɛnyɛ nea mepɛ.”
37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
Ɔsan bae no, obehuu asuafo baasa no sɛ wɔadeda. Obisaa Petro se, “Simon, woada? Woantumi ne me anwɛn dɔnhwerew baako pɛ mpo?
38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly [is] ready, but the flesh [is] weak.
Monwɛn na mommɔ mpae na ɔsɔhwɛfo no anni mo so. Honhom no pɛ de, nanso ɔhonam no yɛ mmerɛw.”
39 And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.
Ɔsan kɔɔ bio kɔbɔɔ mpae koro no ara.
40 And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy, ) neither wist they what to answer him.
Ɔsan baa wɔn nkyɛn bio behuu sɛ wɔadeda, efisɛ na wɔabrɛbrɛ. Na wonhu nea wɔnka nkyerɛ no.
41 And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take [your] rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Ɔsan baa ne mprɛnsa so no, obisaa wɔn se. “Moda so adeda a morehome? Bere a ɛsɛ sɛ mode da no atwa mu. Wɔrebeyi me ahyɛ nnebɔneyɛfo nsa.
42 Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.
Monsɔre na yɛnkɔ! Monhwɛ, nea ɔreyi me ama no na ɔreba no!”
43 And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.
Ogu so rekasa no, Yuda a ɔyɛ nʼasuafo no mu baako ne dɔm a asɔfo mpanyin ne Yudafo mpanyin asoma wɔn ka ne ho a, wokurakura mfoa ne nkontimmaa baa hɔ.
44 And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead [him] away safely.
Na Yuda aka akyerɛ wɔn dedaw se, “Nea mefew nʼafono no; ɔno ne nea morehwehwɛ no no. Monkyere no, na munso ne mu yiye mfa no nkɔ.”
45 And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.
Yuda kɔɔ Yesu nkyɛn kɔkae se, “Me Wura.” Afei ofew nʼafono, yɛɛ no atuu.
46 And they laid their hands on him, and took him.
Ɛhɔ ara, na dɔm a wɔne Yuda nam no soo Yesu mu kyeree no.
47 And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
Wɔn a wɔka Yesu ho no mu baako twee nʼafoa de twaa Ɔsɔfopanyin no akoa bi aso ma ɛtewee.
48 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and [with] staves to take me?
Yesu bisaa wɔn se, “Meyɛ owudifo nti na mode afoa ne nkontimmaa aba me so rebɛkyere me ana?
49 I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.
Adɛn na bere a merekyerɛkyerɛ wɔ asɔredan mu hɔ no, moankyere me? Nanso eyinom nyinaa aba sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a nkɔm a wɔhyɛɛ wɔ me ho no bɛba mu.”
50 And they all forsook him, and fled.
Asuafo no nyinaa guan gyaa no.
51 And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about [his] naked [body]; and the young men laid hold on him:
Aberante bi a ɔde nwera akata nʼadagyaw so dii nʼakyi.
52 And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.
Dɔm a wɔbɛkyeree Yesu no pɛɛ sɛ wɔkyere no, nanso ogyaw ne ntama no maa wɔn, de ne ho saa ara guanee.
53 And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.
Wɔde Yesu kɔɔ Ɔsɔfopanyin no anim no, ankyɛ na asɔfo mpanyin ne Yudafo mpanyin bi behyiaa hɔ.
54 And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.
Bere a wɔde Yesu rekɔ no, Petro tew ne ho dii wɔn akyi, na owiawiaa ne ho kɔhyɛɛ Ɔsɔfopanyin no fi hɔ de ne ho kɔfraa asomfo bi a na wɔreto gya no mu.
55 And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none.
Asɔfo mpanyin ne baguafo no nyinaa hwehwɛɛ sɛ wobenya asɛm bi atia Yesu, na wɔagyina so abu no kumfɔ. Nanso wɔannya bi.
56 For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.
Nnipa pii bedii adansekurum tiaa Yesu, nanso wɔn nsɛm a wɔkaa no bɔɔ abira.
57 And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,
Afei nnipa no bi kekaa nsɛm a enni mu too ne so se,
58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.
“Yɛtee sɛ ɔkae se, ‘Mebubu asɔredan a wɔde nsa na esii no, na mede nnansa asi foforo a wɔamfa nsa ansi!’”
59 But neither so did their witness agree together.
Na eyi mpo, wɔn adanse no anhyia.
60 And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what [is it which] these witness against thee?
Ɔsɔfopanyin no sɔre gyinaa bagua no mfimfini bisaa Yesu se, “Eyi nso, wunni ho anoyi biara? Dɛn na wowɔ ka?”
61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
Yesu ammua no. Afei, Ɔsɔfopanyin no bisaa no bio se, “Wone Agyenkwa no, Onyankopɔn Ba no ana?”
62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Yesu buaa no se, “Mene no, na mubehu me sɛ mete Onyankopɔn nifa, na menam omununkum mu resan aba asase so.”
63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?
Eyi maa Ɔsɔfopanyin no sunsuan nʼatade mu kae se, “Nnansefo bɛn na wɔn ho hia yɛn bio?
64 Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.
Mo nyinaa ate abususɛm a ɔkae no. Dɛn na mowɔ ka?” Wɔn nyinaa gye too mu se, ɔsɛ owu.
65 And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.
Na ebinom tee ntasu guu no so, na wɔkyekyeree nʼani, na wɔbobɔɔ no akuturuku bisaa no se “Wuse woyɛ odiyifo, kyerɛ yɛn onipa ko a ɔbɔɔ wo!” Na asomfo a wɔde no rekɔ no bobɔɔ no asotɔre.
66 And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest:
Bere a na Petro te adiwo hɔ no, Ɔsɔfopanyin no mmaawa no mu baako baa hɔ;
67 And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.
na ohuu Petro sɛ ɔreto gya no, ɔhwɛɛ no haa, ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Wo nso wo ne Nasareni Yesu no na ɛnam!”
68 But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew.
Petro sanee se, “Minnim nea woreka yi ho hwee!” Na ɛhɔ ara na ofii adi kɔtenaa ɔkwan no ano baabi. Saa bere no na akokɔ bɔn nea edi kan.
69 And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is [one] of them.
Abaawa no san huu no wɔ hɔ no, ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn a ɔne wɔn nam no se, “Oyi nso ka wɔn ho. Ɔyɛ Yesu asuafo no mu baako!”
70 And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art [one] of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth [thereto].
Petro san bio. Ɛkyɛe kakra no, nnipa a wogyina ogya no ho no fii ase ka kyerɛɛ Petro se, “Woka wɔn ho, efisɛ woyɛ Galileani!”
71 But he began to curse and to swear, [saying], I know not this man of whom ye speak.
Petro fii ase kekaa ntam, dii nsew se, “Minnim saa onipa a moreka ne ho asɛm yi.”
72 And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.
Mpofirim, na akokɔ bɔn nea ɛto so abien. Na Petro kaee Yesu asɛm a ɔka kyerɛɛ no se, “Akokɔ remmɔn mprenu na woapa me mprɛnsa” no. Na ofii ase sui.
