Luke 21
1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
| و نظر کرده دولتمندانی را دید که هدایای خود را در بیت‌المال می‌اندازند. | ۱ |
2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
| و بیوه‌زنی فقیر را دید که دو فلس در آنجا انداخت. | ۲ |
3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
| پس گفت: «هرآینه به شمامی گویم این بیوه فقیر از جمیع آنها بیشترانداخت. | ۳ |
4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
| زیرا که همه ایشان از زیادتی خود درهدایای خدا انداختند، لیکن این زن از احتیاج خود تمامی معیشت خویش را انداخت. | ۴ |
5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
| و چون بعضی ذکر هیکل می‌کردند که به سنگهای خوب و هدایا آراسته شده است گفت: | ۵ |
6 [As for] these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
| «ایامی می‌آید که از این چیزهایی که می‌بینید، سنگی بر سنگی گذارده نشود، مگر اینکه به زیرافکنده خواهد شد. | ۶ |
7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign [ will there be] when these things shall come to pass?
| و از او سوال نموده، گفتند: «ای استاد پس این امور کی واقع می‌شود وعلامت نزدیک شدن این وقایع چیست؟» | ۷ |
8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am [Christ]; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
| گفت: «احتیاط کنید که گمراه نشوید. زیرا که بسا به نام من آمده خواهند گفت که من هستم و وقت نزدیک است. پس از عقب ایشان مروید. | ۸ |
9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end [is] not by and by.
| و چون اخبارجنگها و فسادها را بشنوید، مضطرب مشویدزیرا که وقوع این امور اول ضرور است لیکن انتهادر ساعت نیست.» | ۹ |
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
| پس به ایشان گفت: «قومی با قومی ومملکتی با مملکتی مقاومت خواهند کرد. | ۱۰ |
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
| وزلزله های عظیم در جایها و قحطیها و وباها پدیدو چیزهای هولناک و علامات بزرگ از آسمان ظاهر خواهد شد. | ۱۱ |
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute [you], delivering [you] up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.
| و قبل از این همه، بر شمادست اندازی خواهند کرد و جفا نموده شما را به کنایس و زندانها خواهند سپرد و در حضورسلاطین و حکام بجهت نام من خواهند برد. | ۱۲ |
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
| واین برای شما به شهادت خواهد انجامید. | ۱۳ |
14 Settle [it] therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
| پس در دلهای خود قرار دهید که برای حجت آوردن، پیشتر اندیشه نکنید، | ۱۴ |
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
| زیرا که من به شما زبانی وحکمتی خواهم داد که همه دشمنان شما با آن مقاومت و مباحثه نتوانند نمود. | ۱۵ |
16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and [some] of you shall they cause to be put to death.
| و شما راوالدین و برادران و خویشان و دوستان تسلیم خواهند کرد و بعضی از شما را به قتل خواهندرسانید. | ۱۶ |
17 And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name’s sake.
| و جمیع مردم به جهت نام من شما رانفرت خواهند کرد. | ۱۷ |
18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
| ولکن مویی از سر شما گم نخواهد شد. | ۱۸ |
19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
| جانهای خود را به صبر دریابید. | ۱۹ |
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
| «و چون بینید که اورشلیم به لشکرهامحاصره شده است آنگاه بدانید که خرابی آن رسیده است. | ۲۰ |
21 Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
| آنگاه هر‌که در یهودیه باشد، به کوهستان فرار کند و هر‌که در شهر باشد، بیرون رود و هر‌که در صحرا بود، داخل شهر نشود. | ۲۱ |
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
| زیرا که همان است ایام انتقام، تا آنچه مکتوب است تمام شود. | ۲۲ |
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
| لیکن وای بر آبستنان وشیردهندگان در آن ایام، زیرا تنگی سخت برروی زمین و غضب بر این قوم حادث خواهد شد. | ۲۳ |
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
| و به دم شمشیر خواهند افتاد و در میان جمیع امت‌ها به اسیری خواهند رفت و اورشلیم پایمال امت‌ها خواهد شد تا زمانهای امت‌ها به انجام رسد. | ۲۴ |
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
| و در آفتاب و ماه و ستارگان علامات خواهد بود و بر زمین تنگی و حیرت از برای امت‌ها روی خواهد نمود به‌سبب شوریدن دریا وامواجش. | ۲۵ |
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
| و دلهای مردم ضعف خواهد کرد از خوف و انتظار آن وقایعی که برربع مسکون ظاهرمی شود، زیرا قوات آسمان متزلزل خواهد شد. | ۲۶ |
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
| و آنگاه پسر انسان را خواهند دید که بر ابری سوار شده با قوت و جلال عظیم می‌آید. | ۲۷ |
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
| «و چون ابتدای این چیزها بشود راست شده، سرهای خود را بلند کنید از آن جهت که خلاصی شما نزدیک است.» | ۲۸ |
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
| و برای ایشان مثلی گفت که «درخت انجیر و سایر درختان راملاحظه نمایید، | ۲۹ |
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
| که چون می‌بینید شکوفه می‌کند خود می‌دانید که تابستان نزدیک است. | ۳۰ |
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
| و همچنین شما نیز چون بینید که این امور واقع می‌شود، بدانید که ملکوت خدا نزدیک شده است. | ۳۱ |
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
| هرآینه به شما می‌گویم که تا جمیع این امور واقع نشود، این فرقه نخواهد گذشت. | ۳۲ |
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
| آسمان و زمین زایل می‌شود لیکن سخنان من زایل نخواهد شد. | ۳۳ |
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that day come upon you unawares.
| پس خود را حفظ کنید مبادا دلهای شما ازپرخوری و مستی و اندیشه های دنیوی، سنگین گردد و آن روز ناگهان بر شما آید. | ۳۴ |
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
| زیرا که مثل دامی بر جمیع سکنه تمام روی زمین خواهد آمد. | ۳۵ |
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
| پس در هر وقت دعا کرده، بیدار باشید تاشایسته آن شوید که از جمیع این چیزهایی که به وقوع خواهد پیوست نجات یابید و در حضورپسر انسان بایستید.» | ۳۶ |
37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called [the mount] of Olives.
| و روزها را در هیکل تعلیم می‌داد و شبها بیرون رفته، در کوه معروف به زیتون به‌سر می‌برد. | ۳۷ |
38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.
| و هر بامداد قوم نزد وی در هیکل می‌شتافتند تا کلام او را بشنوند. | ۳۸ |
