Leviticus 11
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
Un Tas Kungs runāja uz Mozu un uz Āronu un uz tiem sacīja:
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These [are] the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that [are] on the earth.
Runājiet uz Israēla bērniem un sakāt: šie ir tie lopi, ko jūs varat ēst no visiem lopiem, kas virs zemes:
3 Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, [and] cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
Visus lopus, kam šķelti nagi, kam nagi šķelti divējos gabalos, un kas gremo, tos ēdat.
4 Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: [as] the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he [is] unclean unto you.
Bet šos jums nebūs ēst no tiem, kas gremo un kam šķelti nagi: kamieļi, jo tas gan gremo, bet tam nav šķelti nagi; to jums būs turēt par nešķīstu;
5 And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he [is] unclean unto you.
Un trusi, jo tas gan gremo, bet tam nav šķelti nagi, to jums būs turēt par nešķīstu;
6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he [is] unclean unto you.
Un zaķi, jo tas gan gremo, bet tam nav šķelti nagi, to jums būs turēt par nešķīstu;
7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he [is] unclean to you.
Un cūku, jo tai gan šķelti nagi un šķelti divējos gabalos, bet tā negremo, to jums būs turēt par nešķīstu.
8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they [are] unclean to you.
No viņu gaļas jums nebūs ēst nedz viņu maitas aizskart, tos jums būs turēt par nešķīstiem.
9 These shall ye eat of all that [are] in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
Šos ēdat no visa, kas ūdenī: visu, kam ir spuras un zvīņas ūdenī, jūrā un upēs, to varat ēst.
10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which [is] in the waters, they [shall be] an abomination unto you:
Bet visu, kam nav spuru un zvīņu ūdenī un upē, no visa, kas ūdenī kust, un no visa, kas dzīvo ūdenī, to jums būs turēt par negantu.
11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
To jums būs turēt par negantu, jums no viņu gaļas nebūs ēst, un viņu maitas jums būs turēt par negantām.
12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that [shall be] an abomination unto you.
Visu, kam nav spuru un zvīņu ūdenī, jums būs turēt par negantu.
13 And these [are they which] ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they [are] an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
Un no putniem šos jums būs turēt par negantiem, ka jūs tos neēdat: šie lai jums ir neganti: ērglis un sarkandzeltenais ērglis un melnais ērglis.
14 And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
Un lija un vanags pēc savas kārtas.
15 Every raven after his kind;
Un visi kraukļi pēc savas kārtas
16 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
Un strauss un bezdelīga un ķīris un vēja vanags pēc savas kārtas
17 And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
Un apogs un maitas lija un ūpis
18 And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,
Un pūce un dumpis un gulbis,
19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
Stārķis, kalnu vanags pēc savas kārtas, badadzeguze un sikspārnis.
20 All fowls that creep, going upon [all] four, [shall be] an abomination unto you.
Visi spārnainie līdēji, kas iet uz četrām kājām, lai jums ir negantība.
21 Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon [all] four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
Bet tos ēdat no visiem spārnainiem līdējiem, kas uz četrām kājām iet; kam augšām pie savām kājām ir lieli, ar ko tie pa zemi lēkā.
22 [Even] these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
Šos no tiem ēdat: siseni pēc viņa kārtas un zolamu pēc viņa kārtas un argolu pēc viņa kārtas un agabu pēc viņa kārtas (zolams, argols un agabs ir siseņu kārtas).
23 But all [other] flying creeping things, which have four feet, [shall be] an abomination unto you.
Visus citus spārnaiņos līdējus, jums būs turēt par negantiem.
24 And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean until the even.
Un caur šiem jūs tapsiet apgānīti; ikviens, kas viņu maitas aizskar, būs nešķīsts līdz vakaram.
25 And whosoever beareth [ought] of the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
Un kas no viņu maitām ko nesīs, tam būs mazgāt savas drēbes un nešķīstam būt līdz vakaram.
26 [The carcases] of every beast which divideth the hoof, and [is] not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, [are] unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.
Visus lopus, kam nagi šķelti, bet nav šķelti divējos gabalos un kas negremo, tos jums būs turēt par nešķīstiem; kas tos aizskar, tam būs būt nešķīstam.
27 And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on [all] four, those [are] unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even.
Un visiem četrkājīgiem zvēriem, kam kājas ar asiem nagiem, tie lai jums ir nešķīsti; kas viņu maitas aizskar, tas būs nešķīsts līdz vakaram.
28 And he that beareth the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they [are] unclean unto you.
Un kas viņu maitas ir nesis, tam savas drēbes būs mazgāt un nešķīstam būt līdz vakaram; tie lai jums ir nešķīsti.
29 These also [shall be] unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
Un starp tiem līdējiem, kas virs zemes lien, šie lai jums ir nešķīsti: sērmulis, pele, bruņurupucis pēc savas kārtas,
30 And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.
Sesks, hameleons, ķirzaka, gliemezis un kurmis.
31 These [are] unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.
Tos no visiem līdējiem jums būs turēt par nešķīstiem; kas tos aizskar, kad tie miruši, tam būs nešķīstam būt līdz vakaram.
32 And upon whatsoever [any] of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether [it be] any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel [it be], wherein [any] work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.
Un uz ko kas no tiem kritīs, kad tie ir miruši, tam būs nešķīstam būt, lai tas ir kāds koku trauks, vai drēbes, vai āda, vai maiss, vai kāds rīks, ar ko kāds darbs top darīts, - to būs ūdenī iebāzt un tam būs nešķīstam būt līdz vakaram, pēc tas būs šķīsts.
33 And every earthen vessel, whereinto [any] of them falleth, whatsoever [is] in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.
Un ikvienu mālu trauku, kur kas no tiem ir iekritis, - visam, kas tur iekšā, būs nešķīstam būt, un jums to būs sadauzīt.
34 Of all meat which may be eaten, [that] on which [such] water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every [such] vessel shall be unclean.
Ikvienam ēdienam, kas top ēsts, uz ko šis ūdens ir nācis, būs nešķīstam būt, un ikvienu dzērienu, kas top dzerts no visiem tādiem traukiem, būs turēt par nešķīstu.
35 And every [thing] whereupon [any part] of their carcase falleth shall be unclean; [whether it be] oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: [for] they [are] unclean, and shall be unclean unto you.
Un visu, uz ko viņu maitas kritīs, to būs turēt par nešķīstu, cepli un traukus būs sadauzīt, tie ir nešķīsti; tāpēc jums tos būs turēt par nešķīstiem.
36 Nevertheless a fountain or pit, [wherein there is] plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcase shall be unclean.
Tikai avoti un akas un dīķi būs šķīsti; bet kas viņu maitas aizskar, to būs turēt par nešķīstu.
37 And if [any part] of their carcase fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it [shall be] clean.
Un ja kas no viņu maitām kritīs uz sēklu, kas ir sējama, tā ir šķīsta.
38 But if [any] water be put upon the seed, and [any part] of their carcase fall thereon, it [shall be] unclean unto you.
Bet ja ūdens top liets pār sēklu, un tad kas no tādām maitām uzkrīt, tad jums to būs turēt par nešķīstu.
39 And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even.
Ja kāds lops mirst, kas jums ir par barību, - kas viņa maitu aizskar, tam būs nešķīstam būt līdz vakaram.
40 And he that eateth of the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
Un kas no viņa maitas ir ēdis, tam būs savas drēbes mazgāt un nešķīstam būt līdz vakaram; un kas viņu maitu nes, tam būs savas drēbes mazgāt un nešķīstam būt līdz vakaram.
41 And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth [shall be] an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
Un visu, kas lien virs zemes, jums būs turēt par negantu, to nebūs ēst.
42 Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon [all] four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they [are] an abomination.
Visu, kas uz sava vēdera lien, un visu, kas virs zemes lien uz četrām kājām, līdz ar visu, kam daudz kājas, to jums nebūs ēst; lai tas jums ir negants.
43 Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.
Neapgānāt savas dvēseles ar nekādiem līdējiem, kas lien, un nedariet sevi nešķīstus pie tiem, ka jūs caur tiem netopat apgānīti.
44 For I [am] the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I [am] holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Jo Es esmu Tas Kungs, jūsu Dievs, tāpēc jums būs svētīties un svētiem būt, jo Es esmu svēts; un jums nebūs savas dvēseles apgānīt ar neko, kas lien virs zemes,
45 For I [am] the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I [am] holy.
Jo Es esmu Tas Kungs, kas jūs izvedis no Ēģiptes zemes, lai Es jums esmu par Dievu; tad esat svēti, jo Es esmu svēts.
46 This [is] the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:
Šis ir tas likums par lopiem un putniem un par visām dzīvām dvašām, kas kust ūdenī, un par visām dvašām, kas lien virs zemes, -
47 To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.
Ka jūs varat izšķirt nešķīstu no šķīsta, un putnus, kas ēdami, no putniem, kas nav ēdami.
