Joshua 19
1 And the second lot came forth to Simeon, [even] for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.
Et le second lot tiré fut pour Siméon, pour la Tribu des fils de Siméon selon leurs familles, et leur lot était enclavé dans le lot des fils de Juda.
2 And they had in their inheritance Beer-sheba, or Sheba, and Moladah,
Et dans leur lot entrait Béer-Séba et Séba et Molada
3 And Hazar-shual, and Balah, and Azem,
et Hatsar-Sual, et Bala et Atsem
4 And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,
et Eltholad et Bethul et Horma,
5 And Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
et Tsiklag et Beth-Marecaboth, et Hatsar-Sussa,
6 And Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages:
et Beth-Lebaoth et Saruhen: treize villes et leurs villages;
7 Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages:
Aïn, Rimmon et Ether, et Asan, quatre villes et leurs villages;
8 And all the villages that [were] round about these cities to Baalath-beer, Ramath of the south. This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
et tous les villages aux environs de ces villes jusqu'à Baalath-Beer, Ramath-Négeb. Tel est le lot de la Tribu des fils de Siméon selon leurs familles.
9 Out of the portion of the children of Judah [was] the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them.
Le lot des fils de Siméon fut pris sur le territoire des fils de Juda, car la portion des fils de Juda était trop grande pour ceux-ci, et c'est ainsi que les fils de Siméon reçurent un lot enclavé dans celui de Juda.
10 And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid:
Et le troisième lot tiré fut pour les fils de Zabulon selon leurs familles. Et la limite de leur lot allait jusqu'à Sarid.
11 And their border went up toward the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that [is] before Jokneam;
Et leur frontière montait à l'occident et jusqu'à Mareala et touchait à Dabbeseth et touchait à la rivière qui coule devant Jockneam.
12 And turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Chisloth-tabor, and then goeth out to Daberath, and goeth up to Japhia,
Et de Sarid elle tournait à l'orient vers le levant sur la frontière de Ghisloth-Thabor et continuait jusqu'à Dabrath, puis montait à Japhia.
13 And from thence passeth on along on the east to Gittah-hepher, to Ittah-kazin, and goeth out to Remmon-methoar to Neah;
Et de là elle passait à l'orient, au levant à Githa-Hépher, Eth-Katsin, puis continuait jusqu'à Rimmon qui se prolonge jusqu'à Nea,
14 And the border compasseth it on the north side to Hannathon: and the outgoings thereof are in the valley of Jiphthah-el:
autour de laquelle tournant au nord du côté de Hannathon elle allait aboutir dans la vallée de Jiphthah-El.
15 And Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Beth-lehem: twelve cities with their villages.
Et Kattath et Nahalal et Simron et Jideala et Beth-Lehem: douze villes avec leurs villages.
16 This [is] the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.
Tel est le lot des fils de Zabulon, selon leurs familles, ces villes et leurs villages.
17 [And] the fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.
Le quatrième lot fut tiré pour Issaschar, pour les fils d'Issaschar selon leurs familles.
18 And their border was toward Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
Et leur frontière allait jusqu'à Jizréel et Chesulloth et Sunem
19 And Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,
et Hapharaïm et Sîon et Anaharath
20 And Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,
et Rabbith et Kisèon et Abets,
21 And Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;
et Remeth et Ein-Gannim et Ein-Hadda et Beth-Patsets.
22 And the coast reacheth to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and the outgoings of their border were at Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.
Et la frontière touchait au Thabor et à Sahatsima et Beth-Semés, et elle aboutissait au Jourdain: seize villes avec leurs villages.
23 This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.
Tel est le lot de la Tribu des fils d'Issaschar, selon leurs familles, leurs villes et leurs villages.
24 And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
Et le cinquième lot tiré fut pour la Tribu des fils d'Asser, selon leurs familles.
25 And their border was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,
Et leur frontière était: Helkath et Hali et Beten et Acsaph
26 And Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and reacheth to Carmel westward, and to Shihor-libnath;
et Allammélech et Amead et Miseal, et elle touchait au Carmel à l'occident et au Sihor-Libnath,
27 And turneth toward the sunrising to Beth-dagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthah-el toward the north side of Beth-emek, and Neiel, and goeth out to Cabul on the left hand,
puis elle tournait au levant vers Beth-Dagon et touchait à Zabulon et à la vallée de Jiphthah-El au nord de Beth-Aëmek et de Neïel et se prolongeait vers Chabul à gauche,
28 And Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, [even] unto great Zidon;
et vers Ebron et Rehob et Hammon et Kana jusqu'à Sidon, la grande;
29 And [then] the coast turneth to Ramah, and to the strong city Tyre; and the coast turneth to Hosah; and the outgoings thereof are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:
puis la frontière tournait vers Rama, jusqu'à la ville forte de Tyr, ensuite tournait vers Hosa et aboutissait à la mer à partir du district vers Achsib.
30 Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty and two cities with their villages.
Et Umma et Aphek et Rehob: vingt-deux villes avec leurs villages.
31 This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.
Tel est le lot de la Tribu des fils d'Asser, selon leurs familles, ces villes-là et leurs villages.
32 The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, [even] for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
Pour les fils de Nephthali fut tiré le sixième lot, pour les fils de Nephthali selon leurs familles.
33 And their coast was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakum; and the outgoings thereof were at Jordan:
Et leur frontière s'étendait depuis Heleph, depuis le chêne près de Tsaenannim et Adami-Nekeb et Jabnéel jusqu'à Laccum pour aboutir au Jourdain.
34 And [then] the coast turneth westward to Aznoth-tabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on the south side, and reacheth to Asher on the west side, and to Judah upon Jordan toward the sunrising.
Et la frontière tournait à l'occident vers Aznoth-Thabor et de là courait à Huccoc et touchait à Zabulon au midi, et à Asser à l'occident et à Juda sur le Jourdain du côté du levant.
35 And the fenced cities [are] Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
Villes fortes: Tsiddim, Tser et Hammath, Raccath et Chinnereth
36 And Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,
et Adama et Rama et Hatsor
37 And Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-hazor,
et Kédès, Edreï et Ein-Hatsor
38 And Iron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.
et Jiréon et Migdal-El, Horem et Beth-Anath et Beth-Semès: dix-neuf villes avec leurs villages.
39 This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.
Tel est le lot de la Tribu des fils de Nephthali selon leurs familles, les villes et leurs villages.
40 [And] the seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.
Le septième lot fut tiré pour la Tribu des fils de Dan selon leurs familles.
41 And the coast of their inheritance was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,
Et la frontière de leur lot était Tsorea et Esthaol et Ir-Semes,
42 And Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jethlah,
et Sahélabbim et Ajalon et Jithla
43 And Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,
et Elon et Thimnata et Ecron
44 And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,
et Elthékè et Gibethon et Baalath
45 And Jehud, and Bene-berak, and Gath-rimmon,
et Jehud et Bnei-Berak et Gath-Rimmon
46 And Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border before Japho.
et Mei-Jarcon et Rakkon avec le territoire vis-à-vis de Japho.
47 And the coast of the children of Dan went out [too little] for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.
Et le territoire des fils de Dan s'étendit au delà de leurs limites, et les fils de Dan se mirent en campagne, et ils attaquèrent Lesem et la prirent, et ils la frappèrent avec le tranchant de l'épée, et en prirent possession et s'y établirent et l'appelèrent Lesem-Dan, du nom de Dan, leur père.
48 This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.
Tel est le lot de la Tribu des fils de Dan, selon leurs familles, ces villes-là et leurs villages.
49 When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them:
Et lorsqu'ils eurent achevé de répartir le pays selon ses limites, les enfants d'Israël donnèrent à Josué, fils de Nun, une propriété au milieu d'eux.
50 According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, [even] Timnath-serah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.
Sur l'ordre de l'Éternel, ils lui donnèrent la ville qu'il demandait, Thimnath-Sera, dans la montagne d'Ephraïm. Et il rebâtit la ville et s'y établit.
51 These [are] the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.
Tels sont les lots que distribuèrent le Prêtre Eléazar et Josué, fils de Nun, et les Chefs de famille des Tribus des enfants d'Israël par le sort à Silo devant l'Éternel à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous, et ainsi fut terminé le partage du pays.
