< John 8 >

1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.
Napan ni Jesus idiay Bantay ti Olibo.
2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
Nagsubli manen isuna iti templo iti dayta nga agsapa ket napan kenkuana dagiti amin a tattao, nagtugaw isuna ket insurona ida.
3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
Impan dagiti eskriba ken dagiti Fariseo iti tengnga ti maysa a babai a natiliwanda a makikamkamalala.
4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
Imbagada ken Jesus, “Manursuro, natiliwan ken nakita daytoy a babai a maikamkamalala.
5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
Ita iti linteg, binilinnatayo ni Moises a masapul a batoen iti kasta a tattao, ania iti maibagam kenkuana?”
6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with [his] finger wrote on the ground, [ as though he heard them not].
Imbagada daytoy tapno palab-oganda isuna tapno adda pangigappuanda a mangpabasol kenkuana, ngem nagrukob ni Jesus ken nagsurat iti daga babaen iti ramayna.
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
Idi intuloyda ti nagsalsaludsod kenkuana, timmakder ni Jesus ket imbagana kadakuada a, “Palubusam nga umuna a mangbato iti babai ti siasinoman kadakayo nga awan basolna.”
8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
Nagrukob manen ni Jesus ket nagsurat iti daga babaen iti ramayna.
9 And they which heard [it], being convicted by [their own] conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, [even] unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
Idi nangngeganda daytoy, saggaysada a pimmanaw, mangrugi iti kalakayan. Ti kamaudiananna ket agmaymaysa a nabati ni Jesus kadwana iti babai nga adda iti tengngada.
10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
Timmakder ni Jesus ket kinunana kenkuana, “Babai, sadino dagiti nangidarum kenka? Awan kadi uray maysa ti nangdusa kenka?”
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
“Awan uray maysa Apo,” kinuna iti babai. Kinuna ni Jesus, “Uray siak saanka a dusaen, inkan ket saan kan nga agbasol.”]
12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Nagsao manen ni Jesus kadagiti tattao, ibagbagana, “Siak ti silaw iti lubong; ti sumursurot kaniak ket saan a magna iti kinasipnget ngem maaddaanto iti silaw iti biag.”
13 The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
Kinuna dagiti Fariseo kenkuana, “Sika a mismo iti mangsaksaksi iti bagim; saan a pudno ti panagsaksim.”
14 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, [yet] my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.
Simmungbat ni Jesus ket kinunana kadakuada, “Urayno siak iti mangpanpaneknek iti bagik, ti pammaneknekko ket pudno. Ammok ti papanak ken ammok iti naggapuak ngem dakayo saanyo nga ammo iti naggapuak kenno sadino ti papanak.
15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
Mangukom kayo maibatay iti lasag, saanak a manguk-ukom iti uray asinoman.
16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
Ngem no mangukomak, pudno ti panangukomko agsipud ta saanak nga agmaymaysa, no di ket addaak iti Ama a nangibaon kaniak.
17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
Wen, naisurat iti lintegyo a ti panagsaksi iti dua a tao ket pudno.
18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
Siak iti mangpanpaneknek iti maipaay iti bagik, ken ti Ama a nangibaon kaniak iti mangpanpaneknek maipapan kaniak.”
19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
Kinunada kenkuana, “Sadino iti ayan ti amam?” Simmungbat ni Jesus, “Am-ammodak kadi wenno ti Amak, no am-ammodak, am-ammoyo met koma ti Amak.”
20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
Imbagana dagitoy a sasao idiay asideg iti kaha bayat iti panangisurona idiay templo ngem awan iti nangtiliw kenkuana ta saan pay a dimteng iti orasna.
21 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
Kinunana manen kadakuada, “Umadayoak, birukendakto ken mataykayonto gapu iti basolyo. Saan kayo a makaumay idiay papanak”
22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
Kinuna dagiti Judio, “Papatayenna ngata iti bagina, isu a nangibaga a, 'Saan kayo a makaumay idiay papanak'?”.
23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
Kinuna ni Jesus kadakuada, “Naggapokayo ditoy baba, naggapoak iti ngato. Maibilangkayo ditoy lubong; Saanak a maibilang ditoy lubong.
24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am [he], ye shall die in your sins.
Ngarud, imbagak kadakayo a mataykayonto kadagiti basbasolyo malaksid a mamati kayo a SIAK, mataykayonto kadagiti basbasolyo.”
25 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even [the same] that I said unto you from the beginning.
Kinunada ngarud kenkuana, “Siasinoka?” Kinuna ni Jesus kadakuada, “No ania ti imbagak kadakayo manipud idi punganay.
26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
Adu dagiti banbanag nga ibagak a mangukomto kadakayo. Nupay kasta, pudno iti nangibaon kaniak; ken dagiti nangngegak a banbanag manipud kenkuana, dagitoy a banbanag ti ibagbagak iti lubong.”
27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
Saanda a naawatan nga iti ibagbagana kadakuada ket maipapan iti Ama.
28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am [he], and [that] I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
Kinuna ni Jesus, “No itan-okyo ti Anak iti Tao, maamoanyo a SIAK, ket awan aramidek iti bukodko. Ibagbagak dagitoy kadakayo kas insuro ti Amak kaniak.
29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
Adda kaniak iti nangibaon kaniak ket saannak a pinanawan nga agmaymaysa, ta dagiti laeng banbanag a makay-ayo kenkuana iti kankanayon nga aramidek.”
30 As he spake these words, many believed on him.
Adu iti namati ken Jesus idi nangngegda dagitoy a banbanag nga ibagbagana.
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed;
Kinuna ni Jesus kadagiti Judio a namati kenkuana, “No agtalinaedkayo ti saok, pudno a dakayo ket adalak;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
ken maammoanyonto ti kinapudno, ken wayawayaannakayonto iti kinapudno,”.
33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
Simmungbatda kenkuana, “Kaputotannakami ni Abraham ken saankami pay pulos a natagabu iti siasinoman, kasano nga ibagam a, 'Mawayawayaankayo'?”
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
Simmungbat ni Jesus kadakuada, “Pudno, pudno, ibagak kadakayo, amin nga agaramid iti basol ket tagabo iti basol,
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: [but] the Son abideth ever. (aiōn g165)
Saan nga agnanayon nga agtalinaed ti tagabo iti balay, ngem iti anak a lalaki ket agtalinaed nga agnanayon. (aiōn g165)
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Ngarud, no wayawayaannakayo iti Anak, pudno a mawayawayaankayo.
37 I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
Ammok a kaputotannakayo ni Abraham, birukendak ken papatayendak gapu ta awan iti lugar ti saok kadakayo.
38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
Ibagak dagiti banbanag a nakitak iti Amak, ken aramidenyo met dagiti banbanag a nangngegyo manipud iti amayo.”
39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
Simmungbatda kenkuana, “Ti amami ket ni Abraham.” Kinuna ni Jesus kadakuada, “No annaknakayo ni Abraham, aramidenyo iti aramid ni Abraham.
40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
Ngem birukendak a patayen, ti tao a nangibaga kadakayo iti pudno a nangngegak manipud iti Dios. Saan nga inaramid ni Abraham daytoy.
41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, [even] God.
Aramidenyo dagiti trabaho iti amayo.” Kinunada kenkuana, “Saankami a naiyanak iti kinaderrep, maymaysa ti Amami, ti Dios.”
42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Kinuna ni Jesus kadakuada, “No ti Dios iti Amayo, ayatendak koma, ta naggapoak iti Dios; ta saanak nga immay iti bukbukodko ngem imbaonnak.
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? [even] because ye cannot hear my word.
Apay a saanyo a maawatan dagiti sasaok? Agsipud ta saanyo a kabaelan a denggen dagiti sasaok.
44 Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Maibilangkayo iti amayo, ti diablo, ket tarigagayanyo nga aramiden dagiti kinaderrep a pagayatan iti amayo. Mamapatay isuna sipud pay idi punganay ken saanna a pagtaktakderan iti kinapudno agsipud ta awan iti kinapudno kenkuana. No agsasao isuna iti inuulbod, agsao kas kadawyanna agsipud ta ulbod isuna ken ama iti kinaulbod.
45 And because I tell [you] the truth, ye believe me not.
Urayno kasta, agsipud ta agsasaoak iti kinapudno saankayo a mamatpati kaniak.
46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
Siasino kadakayo iti mangpabasol kaniak? No agsasaoak iti kinapudno, apay a saankayo a mamatpati kaniak?
47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear [them] not, because ye are not of God.
Siasinoman nga adda iti Dios ket mangmangeganna dagiti sasao iti Dios. Saanyo a mangmangngeg daytoy agsipud ta saankayo a maibilang iti Dios.”
48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
Simmungbat dagiti Judio ken kinunada kenkuana, “Saan kadi a pudno ti ibagbagami a Samaritanoka ken adda iti demonio kenka?”.
49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
Simmungbat ni Jesus, “Awan iti demonio kaniak ngem padayawak ti Amak, ken saandak a padayawan.”
50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
Saanko a birbiruken ti bukodko a dayag. Adda maysa nga agbirbirok ken manguk-ukom.
51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. (aiōn g165)
Pudno, pudno, ibagak kadakayo, no siasinoman ti mangsalsalimetmet iti saok saanna a makita iti patay.” (aiōn g165)
52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. (aiōn g165)
Kinuna dagiti Judio kenkuana, “Ita ammomin nga adda kaniam iti demonio. Natay ni Abraham ken dagiti profeta; ngem ibagbagam, 'Siasinoman a mangsalsalimetmet kadagiti sasaok, saanna a maramanan iti patay,' (aiōn g165)
53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
Saanka a natantan-ok ngem iti amami a ni Abraham a natay, wenno natantan-okka kadi? Uray dagiti profeta ket natay met. Siasino koma iti kayatmo a pagbalinan?”
54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
Simmungbat ni Jesus, “No itan-okko iti bagik, awan serbi iti dayawko; ti mangitantan-ok kaniak ket ti Amak nga ibagbagayo nga isu iti Diosyo.
55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
Saanyo a naammoan isuna ngem am-ammok isuna. No ibagak a, 'Saanko nga am-ammo isuna,' agbalinak a kapadayo nga ulbod. Nupay kasta, am-ammok isuna ken salsalimetmetak iti saona.
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw [it], and was glad.
Nagrag-o ti amayo a ni Abraham a mangkitkita iti aldawko, nakita na daytoy ket naragsak isuna.”
57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
Kinuna dagiti Judio kenkuana, “Awan pay iti limapulo a tawenmo, kasanom a nakita ni Abraham?”.
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Kinuna ni Jesus kadakuada, “Pudno, pudno, ibagak kadakayo, sakbay a naiyanak ni Abraham, ket SIAK.”
59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
Pimmidotda kadagiti batbato tapno battuenda isuna ngem naglemmeng ni Jesus ket rimmuar idiay templo.
