Job 8
1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
ಆಗ, ಶೂಹ್ಯನಾದ ಬಿಲ್ದದನು ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು:
2 How long wilt thou speak these [things]? and [how long shall] the words of thy mouth [be like] a strong wind?
“ನೀನು ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವೆ? ನೀನು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯಂಥ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆ.
3 Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?
ದೇವರು ತೀರ್ಪಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೋ? ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರು ನೀತಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವರೋ?
4 If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;
ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ, ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುವರು.
5 If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;
ಆದರೆ ನೀನೇ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಾಗಿ ಹುಡುಕಿ, ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಬಿನ್ನಹ ಮಾಡು.
6 If thou [wert] pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.
ನೀನು ಶುದ್ಧನೂ, ಯಥಾರ್ಥನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಈಗಲೇ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತು, ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುವರು.
7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.
ನಿನ್ನ ಆರಂಭವು ಅಲ್ಪವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅಂತ್ಯವು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದುವುದು.
8 For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:
“ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸು; ಅವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಕಲಿತಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗು.
9 (For we [are but of] yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth [are] a shadow: )
ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರೂ ಏನೂ ಅರಿಯದವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆರಳಿನಂತಿವೆ.
10 Shall not they teach thee, [and] tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?
ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರು ನಿನಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊರತರಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
11 Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water?
ಕೆಸರಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಆಪು ಹುಲ್ಲು ಬೆಳೆಯುವುದೋ? ನೀರಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಜಂಬು ಹುಲ್ಲು ಮೊಳೆಯುವುದೋ?
12 Whilst it [is] yet in his greenness, [and] not cut down, it withereth before any [other] herb.
ಅದು ಹಸುರಾಗಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೊಯ್ಯದೆ ಇದ್ದಾಗಲೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹುಲ್ಲಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಅದು ಮೊದಲು ಒಣಗಿಹೋಗುವುದು.
13 So [are] the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite’s hope shall perish:
ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮರೆಯುವವರೆಲ್ಲರ ದಾರಿ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ; ಭಕ್ತಿಹೀನರ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ನಾಶವಾಗುವುದು.
14 Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust [shall be] a spider’s web.
ಅಂಥವರ ಭರವಸೆಯು ಭಂಗವಾಗುವುದು; ಅವರ ಆಶ್ರಯವು ಜೇಡರ ಹುಳದ ಮನೆಯಂತಿರುವುದು.
15 He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.
ಅಂಥಾ ಮನೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಒರಗಿಕೊಂಡರೆ, ಅದು ನಿಲ್ಲದು; ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಗಿಹಿಡಿದರೆ, ಅದು ತಡೆಯಲಾರದು.
16 He [is] green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden.
ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಮುಂದೆ ಭಕ್ತಿಹೀನರು ಹಸುರು ಬಳ್ಳಿಯಂತೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಆ ಬಳ್ಳಿಯು ತೋಟದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಬ್ಬುತ್ತಿದೆ.
17 His roots are wrapped about the heap, [and] seeth the place of stones.
ಅವರ ಬೇರುಗಳು ಬಂಡೆಗಳ ರಾಶಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುತ್ತಿ, ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ನುಗ್ಗುತ್ತವೆ.
18 If he destroy him from his place, then [it] shall deny him, [saying], I have not seen thee.
ಭಕ್ತಿಹೀನನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕಿದರೆ, ‘ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನೋಡಿಲ್ಲ,’ ಎಂದು ಆ ನೆಲವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವುದು.
19 Behold, this [is] the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow.
ಹೀಗೆ ಭಕ್ತಿಹೀನನ ಜೀವವು ಒಣಗಿಹೋಗುವುದು; ಆದರೆ ಆ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ನೆಲದಿಂದ ಬೇರೆ ಸಸಿಗಳು ಮೊಳೆಯುವುದು.
20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect [man], neither will he help the evil doers:
“ದೇವರು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಯನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಕೆಡುಕರ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.
ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ನಗೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸುವರು; ನಿನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಜಯ ಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿಸುವರು.
22 They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.
ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಯಾಗುವುದು; ದುಷ್ಟರ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಳವು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಗುವುದು.”
