Job 4
1 Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,
౧అందుకు తేమానీయుడు ఎలీఫజు ఇలా జవాబిచ్చాడు.
2 [If] we assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? but who can withhold himself from speaking?
౨ఎవరైనా ఈ విషయం గురించి నీతో మాట్లాడితే నీకు చిరాకు కలుగుతుందా? అయితే నీతో మాట్లాడకుండా నిదానంగా ఎవరు ఉంటారు?
3 Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
౩నువ్వు చాలా మందికి బుద్ధినేర్పించావు. అనేకమంది నిస్సహాయులను బలపరిచావు.
4 Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.
౪దారి తప్పిన వాళ్ళను నీ మాటలతో ఆదుకున్నావు. మోకాళ్లు సడలిన వాళ్ళను బలపరిచావు.
5 But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.
౫అయితే ఇప్పుడు నీకు కష్టం కలిగినప్పుడు దుఃఖంతో అల్లాడుతున్నావు. నీకు కలిగిన కష్టం వల్ల తల్లడిల్లిపోతున్నావు.
6 [Is] not [this] thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways?
౬నీకున్న భక్తి నీలో ధైర్యం కలిగించదా? నిజాయితీ గల ప్రవర్తన నీ ఆశాభావానికి ఆధారం కాదా?
7 Remember, I pray thee, who [ever] perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off?
౭జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకో, నీతిమంతుడు ఎప్పుడైనా నాశనం అయ్యాడా? నిజాయితీపరులు ఎక్కడైనా తుడిచి పెట్టుకుపోయారా?
8 Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.
౮నాకు తెలిసినంత వరకు దుష్టత్వాన్ని దున్ని, కీడు అనే విత్తనాలు చల్లే వాళ్ళు ఆ పంటనే కోస్తారు.
9 By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.
౯దేవుడు గాలి ఊదినప్పుడు వాళ్ళు నశించిపోతారు. ఆయన కోపాగ్ని రగిలినప్పుడు వాళ్ళు లేకుండాా పోతారు.
10 The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions, are broken.
౧౦సింహాల గర్జనలు, క్రూరసింహాల గాండ్రింపులు ఆగిపోతాయి. కొదమసింహాల కోరలు విరిగిపోతాయి.
11 The old lion perisheth for lack of prey, and the stout lion’s whelps are scattered abroad.
౧౧తిండి లేకపోవడం చేత ఆడ సింహాలు నశించిపోతాయి. సింహపు కూనలు చెల్లాచెదరైపోతాయి.
12 Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof.
౧౨నాకొక రహస్యం తెలిసింది. ఒకడు గుసగుసలాడుతున్నట్టు అది నా చెవికి వినబడింది.
13 In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men,
౧౩మనుషులకు రాత్రివేళ గాఢనిద్ర పట్టే సమయంలో వచ్చే కలవరమైన కలలో అది వచ్చింది.
14 Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake.
౧౪నాకు భయం వణుకు కలిగింది. అందువల్ల నా ఎముకలన్నీ వణికిపోయాయి.
15 Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up:
౧౫ఒకడి ఊపిరి నా ముఖానికి తగిలింది. నా శరీరం పై వెంట్రుకలన్నీ నిక్కబొడుచుకున్నాయి.
16 It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image [was] before mine eyes, [there was] silence, and I heard a voice, [saying],
౧౬ఒక రూపం నా కళ్ళెదుట నిలిచింది. నేను దాన్ని గుర్తు పట్టలేకపోయాను. మెల్లగా వినిపించే ఒక స్వరం విన్నాను. ఆ స్వరం “దేవుని సన్నిధిలో అపవిత్రులు నీతిమంతులవుతారా?
17 Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?
౧౭తమ సృష్టికర్త ఎదుట ఒకడు పవిత్రుడౌతాడా?” అంటుంది.
18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:
౧౮తన సేవకుల పట్ల ఆయనకు నమ్మకం పోయింది. తన దూతల్లోనే ఆయన తప్పులు వెతుకుతున్నాడు.
19 How much less [in] them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation [is] in the dust, [which] are crushed before the moth?
౧౯అలాంటిది బంకమట్టి ఇళ్ళలో నివసించే వాళ్ళలో, మట్టిలో పుట్టిన వాళ్ళలో, చిమ్మెట చితికిపోయేలా చితికిపొయే వాళ్ళలో ఇంకెన్ని తప్పులు ఆయన చూస్తాడు!
20 They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding [it].
౨౦ఉదయం నుండి సాయంత్రం మధ్యకాలంలో వాళ్ళు ముక్కలైపోతారు. ఎవరూ గుర్తించకుండానే వాళ్ళు శాశ్వతంగా నాశనమైపోతారు.
21 Doth not their excellency [which is] in them go away? they die, even without wisdom.
౨౧వాళ్ళ డేరాల తాళ్ళు పెరికివేస్తారు. వాళ్ళు బుద్ధి తెచ్చుకోకుండానే మరణమైపోతారు. నేడు ఆ విధంగానే జరుగుతుంది గదా.
