Job 38
1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
൧പിന്നീട് യഹോവ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റിൽനിന്ന് ഇയ്യോബിനോട് ഉത്തരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത്:
2 Who [is] this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
൨“അറിവില്ലാത്ത വാക്കുകളാൽ ആലോചനയെ ഇരുളാക്കുന്ന ഇവനാര്?
3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
൩നീ പുരുഷനെപ്പോലെ അര മുറുക്കികൊള്ളുക; ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് ചോദിക്കും; എന്നോട് ഉത്തരം പറയുക.
4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
൪ഞാൻ ഭൂമിക്ക് അടിസ്ഥാനമിട്ടപ്പോൾ നീ എവിടെയായിരുന്നു? നിനക്ക് വിവേകമുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുക.
5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
൫അതിന്റെ അളവ് നിയമിച്ചവൻ ആര്? നീ അറിയുന്നുവോ? അല്ല, അതിന് അളവുനൂൽ പിടിച്ചവനാര്?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
൬പ്രഭാതനക്ഷത്രങ്ങൾ ഒന്നിച്ച് ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കുകയും ദൈവപുത്രന്മാരെല്ലാം സന്തോഷിച്ചാർക്കുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ
7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
൭അതിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനം ഏതിന്മേൽ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു? അല്ല, അതിന്റെ മൂലക്കല്ലിട്ടവൻ ആര്?
8 Or [who] shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, [as if] it had issued out of the womb?
൮ഗർഭത്തിൽനിന്ന് എന്നപോലെ സമുദ്രം ചാടിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ അതിനെ കതകുകളാൽ അടച്ചവൻ ആര്?
9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,
൯അന്ന് ഞാൻ മേഘത്തെ അതിന് ഉടുപ്പും കൂരിരുളിനെ അതിന് ചുറ്റാടയും ആക്കി;
10 And brake up for it my decreed [place], and set bars and doors,
൧൦ഞാൻ അതിന് അതിര് നിയമിച്ച് കതകും ഓടാമ്പലും വച്ചു.
11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
൧൧‘ഇത്രത്തോളം നിനക്കുവരാം; ഇത് കടക്കരുത്; ഇവിടെ നിന്റെ തിരമാലകളുടെ ഗർവ്വം നിലയ്ക്കും’ എന്ന് കല്പിച്ചു.
12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; [and] caused the dayspring to know his place;
൧൨ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളെ പിടിക്കേണ്ടതിനും ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെ അതിൽനിന്ന് കുടഞ്ഞുകളയേണ്ടതിനും
13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
൧൩നിന്റെ ജീവകാലത്ത് ഒരിക്കലെങ്കിലും നീ പ്രഭാതത്തിന് കല്പന കൊടുക്കുകയും അരുണോദയത്തിന് സ്ഥലം നിർദ്ദേശിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടോ?
14 It is turned as clay [to] the seal; and they stand as a garment.
൧൪അത് മുദ്രയുടെ കീഴിലെ അരക്കുപോലെ മാറുന്നു; വസ്ത്രംപോലെ അതിലുള്ളതെല്ലാം വിളങ്ങിനില്‍ക്കുന്നു.
15 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.
൧൫ദുഷ്ടന്മാർക്ക് വെളിച്ചം മുടങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു; ഓങ്ങിയ ഭുജവും ഒടിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു.
16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?
൧൬നീ സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ ഉറവുകളോളം ചെന്നിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ആഴിയുടെ ആഴത്തിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ?
17 Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?
൧൭മരണത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾ നിനക്ക് വെളിപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ? അന്ധതമസ്സിന്റെ വാതിലുകളെ നീ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ?
18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.
൧൮ഭൂമിയുടെ വിശാലത നീ ഗ്രഹിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഇവ സകലവും അറിയുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുക.
19 Where [is] the way [where] light dwelleth? and [as for] darkness, where [is] the place thereof,
൧൯വെളിച്ചം വസിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തേക്കുള്ള വഴി ഏത്? ഇരുളിന്റെ പാർപ്പിടവും എവിടെ?
20 That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths [to] the house thereof?
൨൦നിനക്ക് അവയെ അവയുടെ അതിര് വരെ കൊണ്ടുപോകാമോ? അവയുടെ വീട്ടിലേക്കുള്ള പാത അറിയാമോ?
21 Knowest thou [it], because thou wast then born? or [because] the number of thy days [is] great?
൨൧നീ അന്നേ ജനിച്ചിരുന്നുവല്ലോ; നിനക്ക് ആയുസ്സ് ഒട്ടും കുറവല്ലല്ലോ; നീ അത് അറിയാതിരിക്കുമോ?
22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,
൨൨നീ ഹിമത്തിന്റെ ഭണ്ഡാരത്തോളം ചെന്നിട്ടുണ്ടോ? കല്മഴയുടെ ഭണ്ഡാരം നീ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ?
23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
൨൩ഞാൻ അവയെ കഷ്ടകാലത്തേക്കും പോരും പടയുമുള്ള നാളിലേക്കും സംഗ്രഹിച്ചുവച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
24 By what way is the light parted, [which] scattereth the east wind upon the earth?
൨൪വെളിച്ചം പിരിയുന്നതും കിഴക്കൻകാറ്റ് ഭൂമിമേൽ വ്യാപിക്കുന്നതും ആയ വഴി ഏത്?
25 Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;
൨൫നിർജ്ജനദേശത്തും ആൾ പാർപ്പില്ലാത്ത മരുഭൂമിയിലും മഴ പെയ്യിക്കേണ്ടതിനും
26 To cause it to rain on the earth, [where] no man [is; on] the wilderness, wherein [there is] no man;
൨൬തരിശും ശൂന്യവുമായ നിലത്തിന്റെ ദാഹം തീർക്കേണ്ടതിനും ഇളമ്പുല്ല് മുളപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിനും
27 To satisfy the desolate and waste [ground; ] and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?
൨൭ജലപ്രവാഹത്തിന് ചാലും ഇടിമിന്നലിന് പാതയും വെട്ടിക്കൊടുത്തതാര്?
28 Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?
൨൮മഴക്ക് അപ്പനുണ്ടോ? അല്ല, മഞ്ഞുതുള്ളികളെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചതാര്?
29 Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?
൨൯ആരുടെ ഗർഭത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഹിമം പുറപ്പെടുന്നു? ആകാശത്തിലെ മഞ്ഞ് ആര് പ്രസവിക്കുന്നു?
30 The waters are hid as [with] a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.
൩൦വെള്ളം കല്ലുപോലെ ഉറച്ചുപോകുന്നു. ആഴിയുടെ മുഖം കട്ടിയായിത്തീരുന്നു.
31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
൩൧കാർത്തികയുടെ ചങ്ങല നിനക്ക് ബന്ധിക്കാമോ? മകയിരത്തിന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങൾ അഴിക്കാമോ?
32 Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
൩൨നിനക്ക് രാശിചക്രത്തെ അതിന്റെ കാലത്ത് പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കാമോ? സപ്തർഷികളെയും മക്കളെയും നിനക്ക് നടത്താമോ?
33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
൩൩ആകാശത്തിലെ നിയമങ്ങൾ നീ അറിയുന്നുവോ? അതിന് ഭൂമിമേലുള്ള സ്വാധീനം നിർണ്ണയിക്കാമോ?
34 Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?
൩൪ജലപ്രവാഹം നിന്നെ മൂടേണ്ടതിന് നിനക്ക് മേഘങ്ങളോളം ശബ്ദം ഉയർത്താമോ?
35 Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we [are]?
൩൫“അടിയങ്ങൾ വിടകൊള്ളുന്നു” എന്ന് നിന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞ് പുറപ്പെടുവാൻ തക്കവിധം നിനക്ക് മിന്നലുകളെ പറഞ്ഞയക്കാമോ?
36 Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?
൩൬അന്തരംഗത്തിൽ ജ്ഞാനത്തെ വച്ചവനാര്? മനസ്സിന് വിവേകം കൊടുത്തവൻ ആര്?
37 Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,
൩൭ഉരുക്കിവാർത്തതുപോലെ പൊടി തമ്മിൽ കൂടുമ്പോഴും മൺകട്ട ഒന്നോടൊന്ന് പറ്റിപ്പോകുമ്പോഴും
38 When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?
൩൮ജ്ഞാനത്താൽ മേഘങ്ങളെ എണ്ണുന്നതാര്? ആകാശത്തിലെ തുരുത്തികളെ ചരിച്ചിടുന്നതാര്?
39 Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,
൩൯സിംഹങ്ങൾ ഗുഹകളിൽ പതുങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുമ്പോഴും അവ മുറ്റുകാട്ടിൽ പതിയിരിക്കുമ്പോഴും
40 When they couch in [their] dens, [and] abide in the covert to lie in wait?
൪൦നീ സിംഹിയ്ക്ക് ഇര വേട്ടയാടിക്കൊടുക്കുമോ? ബാലസിംഹങ്ങളുടെ വിശപ്പടക്കുമോ?
41 Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.
൪൧കാക്കക്കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ ഇരകിട്ടാതെ ഉഴന്ന് ദൈവത്തോട് നിലവിളിക്കുമ്പോൾ അതിന് തീറ്റ എത്തിച്ച് കൊടുക്കുന്നതാര്?
