Job 27
1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,
Y Job nuevamente tomó la palabra y dijo:
2 [As] God liveth, [who] hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, [who] hath vexed my soul;
Por la vida de Dios, que me ha quitado el derecho; y del Todopoderoso, que ha amargado mi alma;
3 All the while my breath [is] in me, and the spirit of God [is] in my nostrils;
Mientras haya vida en mí, y el aliento de Dios en mi nariz;
4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
En verdad, no diré mentiras, y mi lengua no dice lo que es falso.
5 God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.
¡Que esté lejos de mí! ¡Ciertamente no diré que tienes razón! Moriré antes de renunciar a mi justicia.
6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach [me] so long as I live.
Me aferrare a mi justicia, y no lo dejaré ir; mi corazón no tiene nada que decir contra ninguna parte de mi vida.
7 Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.
Sea mi enemigo como el hombre malo, y el que viene contra mí, sea como el pecador.
8 For what [is] the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?
¿Cuál es la esperanza del pecador por mucho que haya robado, cuando Dios le quita su alma?
9 Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?
¿Su grito llegará a los oídos de Dios cuando él esté en problemas?
10 Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?
¿Se deleitará con el Todopoderoso hará su oración a Dios en todo momento?
11 I will teach you by the hand of God: [that] which [is] with the Almighty will I not conceal.
Te daré enseñanzas acerca del poder de Dios; No mantendré en secreto lo que está en la mente del Todopoderoso.
12 Behold, all ye yourselves have seen [it; ] why then are ye thus altogether vain?
En verdad, todos ustedes lo han visto; ¿Por qué entonces te has vuelto completamente tonto?
13 This [is] the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, [which] they shall receive of the Almighty.
Este es el castigo para el malvado departe de Dios Todopoderoso, y la herencia dada a los violentos.
14 If his children be multiplied, [it is] for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.
Si sus hijos son mayores, son destinados a morir; y su descendencia no será saciado de pan.
15 Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.
Cuando los de su casa que todavía viven llegan a su fin por la enfermedad, y serán sepultados, y sus viudas no lloran por ellos.
16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
Aunque puede juntar plata como polvo, y preparar gran cantidad de ropa como el barro;
17 He may prepare [it], but the just shall put [it] on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
Puede que los prepare, pero los rectos se los pondrán, y el que está libre del pecado repartirá la plata.
18 He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth [that] the keeper maketh.
Su casa no tiene más fuerza, es como la casa de una polilla, o la tienda de un vigilante.
19 The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he [is] not.
Se va a descansar lleno de riqueza, pero lo hace por última vez al abrir los ojos, ya no la ve.
20 Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
Los miedos lo asaltan como inundaciones; en la noche el viento de la tormenta se lo lleva.
21 The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.
El viento del este lo levanta y se va; es forzado a salir violentamente de su lugar.
22 For [God] shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
Dios se arrojará contra él sin piedad; aunque trate de huir de su poder.
23 [Men] shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
Los hombres batirán sus manos con señales de alegría por su ruina, sacándolo de su lugar con silbidos.
