Job 13
1 Lo, mine eye hath seen all [this], mine ear hath heard and understood it.
“मेरा आँखाले यी सबै कुरा देखेका छन्, मेरा कानले सुनेका छन्, र मैले यो बुझेको छु।
2 What ye know, [the same] do I know also: I [am] not inferior unto you.
तपाईंहरूले जे जान्नुहुन्छ, त्यो म पनि जान्दछु; म पनि तपाईंहरूभन्दा कमको छैनँ।
3 Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
तर म सर्वशक्तिमान्सँग कुरा गर्न चाहन्छु, र मेरो मुद्दाको विषयमा परमेश्वरसँग बहस गर्न चाहन्छु।
4 But ye [are] forgers of lies, ye [are] all physicians of no value.
तर तपाईंहरूको झूटले मलाई बदनाम गर्नुहुन्छ; तपाईंहरू सबै जना निकम्मा वैद्यहरू हुनुहुन्छ!
5 O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.
यदि तपाईंहरू चुप लागेर बसिदिनुभए त! यही नै तपाईंहरूको निम्ति बुद्धिमानी हुनेथियो।
6 Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.
अब मेरो बहस सुन्नुहोस्; मेरा ओठका बिन्ती ध्यानसँग सुन्नुहोस्।
7 Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
के तपाईंहरू परमेश्वरको पक्षबाट झूटो बोल्नुहुनेछ? के तपाईंहरू उहाँको निम्ति छलपूर्ण कुरा गर्नुहुनेछ?
8 Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
के तपाईंहरूले उहाँलाई पक्षपात गर्नुहुनेछ? के तपाईंहरूले परमेश्वरको निम्ति मुद्दाको बहस गर्नुहुनेछ?
9 Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye [so] mock him?
यदि उहाँले तपाईंहरूलाई जाँच गर्नुभयो भने के त्यो असल होला र? मानिसहरूलाई छल गरेझैँ के तपाईंहरूले उहाँलाई छल्न सक्नुहुन्छ र?
10 He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
यदि तपाईंहरूले गुप्तमा पक्षपात गर्नुभयो भने उहाँले तपाईंहरूलाई निश्चय नै हप्काउनुहुनेछ।
11 Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?
के उहाँको महानताले तपाईंहरूलाई भयभीत पार्दैन र? अनि उहाँको डर तपाईंहरूमाथि आइपर्दैन र?
12 Your remembrances [are] like unto ashes, your bodies to bodies of clay.
तपाईंहरूका उपदेशहरू खरानीका उखानहरूजस्तै छन्; तपाईंहरूका सुरक्षाहरू माटाजस्तै कमजोर छन्।
13 Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what [will].
“चुप लाग्नुहोस् र मलाई बोल्न दिनुहोस्; अनि ममाथि जे आइपर्ला, सो भोग्न तयार छु।
14 Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?
मैले आफूलाई किन जोखिममा पारूँ, र मेरो जीवन आफ्नै हातमा लिएर हिँडूँ?
15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
उहाँले मेरो ज्यान लिनुभए तापनि उहाँमाथि नै म आफ्नो भरोसा राख्नेछु; निश्चय नै म उहाँसामु आफ्नो निम्ति बहस गर्नेछु।
16 He also [shall be] my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
सम्भवतः, यी कुराहरू मेरो छुटकाराको निम्ति हुनेछन्, किनकि दुष्ट मानिसहरू उहाँको सामु आउने साहस गर्न सक्दैनन्!
17 Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears.
मैले भनेका कुराहरू ध्यानसित सुन्नुहोस्; मेरा शब्दहरू तपाईंहरूका कानभित्र गुञ्जोस्!
18 Behold now, I have ordered [my] cause; I know that I shall be justified.
अहिले मैले मेरो मुद्दा तयार गरिसकेको छु, म जान्दछु कि म निर्दोष ठहरिनेछु।
19 Who [is] he [that] will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
कसले मेरो विरुद्धमा आरोप लगाउन सक्छ? यदि सक्छ भने म चुपचाप बस्नेछु र मर्नेछु।
20 Only do not two [things] unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.
“हे परमेश्वर, मलाई केवल यी दुई कुराहरू मात्र दिनुहोस्, त्यसपछि म तपाईंदेखि लुक्नेछैनँ:
21 Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid.
तपाईंको हात मबाट टाढा हटाउनुहोस्; र तपाईंका डरले मलाई भयभीत नपारोस्।
22 Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.
तब मलाई बोलाउनुहोस्, र म जवाफ दिनेछु, अथवा मलाई बोल्न दिनुहोस्, र मलाई तपाईंले जवाफ दिनुहोस्।
23 How many [are] mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.
मैले कति गल्ती र पापहरू गरेँ? मलाई मेरो अपराध र मेरो पाप देखाइदिनुहोस्।
24 Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy?
किन तपाईंले आफ्नो मुहार लुकाउनुहुन्छ, र मलाई आफ्नो शत्रु ठान्नुहुन्छ?
25 Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?
के तपाईं हावाले उडाएको एउटा पातलाई सताउनुहुन्छ? के तपाईं सुकेको भुसलाई लखेट्नुहुन्छ?
26 For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.
किनकि तपाईंले मेरो विरुद्धमा तिता कुराहरू लेख्नुहुन्छ, र मैले जवानीमा गरेका पापहरूको कटनी गराउनुहुन्छ।
27 Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet.
तपाईंले मेरा पाउहरू साङ्लोले बाँध्नुभएको छ; मेरा खुट्टाका पैतालाहरूमा छाप लगाउनुभएर, मेरा सबै कदमहरूलाई नजिकबाट नियाल्नुहुन्छ।
28 And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth eaten.
“त्यसकारण मानिस कुहेको फोहोरमैलाझैँ, किराले खाएको लुगाझैँ नष्ट भएर जान्छ।
