< Job 13 >

1 Lo, mine eye hath seen all [this], mine ear hath heard and understood it.
“Mutuk liye ma ing nukewa tari; Insrek lohng pac tari, ac kalem kac.
2 What ye know, [the same] do I know also: I [am] not inferior unto you.
Ma komtal etu an nga etu pac. Wangin ma nga ten liki komtal kac.
3 Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
Tusruktu alein luk uh ma nu sin God, tia ma nu sumtal; Nga ke fahkak ye mutal lah wangin mwetik.
4 But ye [are] forgers of lies, ye [are] all physicians of no value.
Komtal sang kas kikiap kosrala nikin lomtal ingan; Komtal oana mwet ono ma tia ku in akkeyala kutena mwet mas uh.
5 O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.
Komtal fin tia kaskas, sahp ac oasr mwet nunku mu komtal lalmwetmet.
6 Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.
“Porongo ke nga ac srumun kas in aksuwos luk.
7 Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
Efu ku komtal kikiap in kaskas? Ya komtal nunku mu God El ac wokin kikiap lomtal an?
8 Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
Mea, ke pacl in nununku, komtal ac loangel? Ya komtal ac kaskas in kasrel?
9 Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye [so] mock him?
God El fin liksreni lohwot nu sumtal, ya oasr ma wo El ku in konauk keimtal? Mea, komtal pangon komtal ac ku in kiapu God oana ke komtal kiapu mwet uh?
10 He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
Komtal finne oru srisri lomtal an in lukma, El ac srakna kai komtal kac,
11 Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?
Ac ku lal uh ac fah arulana aksangengye komtal.
12 Your remembrances [are] like unto ashes, your bodies to bodies of clay.
Soakas lomtal uh wangin sripa, oana apat uh; Ac alein lomtal uh munas oana fohk kle.
13 Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what [will].
Tal misla, ac se pacl luk nga in kaskas, Ac fokin fahk luk uh, ma na luk.
14 Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?
“Nga akola in pilesralana moul luk uh.
15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
Finsrak luk nukewa wanginla, na mea sunakin God El fin uniyuwi? Nga ac fahklana ma nga nunku nu sel.
16 He also [shall be] my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
Sahp, pulaik luk uh ac ku in moliyula, Mweyen wanginna mwet koluk ku in lain God.
17 Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears.
Srike lohng kas in aketeya luk uh.
18 Behold now, I have ordered [my] cause; I know that I shall be justified.
Nga akola in fahk ma nga pulakin uh, Mweyen nga etu lah pwaye sik.
19 Who [is] he [that] will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
“O God, ya kom ac tuku in fahk mu oasr ma sutuu luk? Fin ouingan, nga akola in mihslana ac misa.
20 Only do not two [things] unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.
Ma luoiyana nga ke siyuk sum; kom fin insese nu kac, Na nga fah tia srike in wikla liki kom:
21 Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid.
Ma se meet, kom in tia sifil akkeokyeyu; akluo, tia sifilpa aksangengyeyu.
22 Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.
“Kaskas meet, O God, ac nga fah topuk kom. Fin tia ouinge, lela nga in sramsram, ac kom fah topukyu.
23 How many [are] mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.
Mea ngac ma koluk luk uh? Ma sufal fuka nga orala uh? Ma koluk fuka kom nununkeyu kac uh?
24 Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy?
“Efu ku kom kaingkinyu? Efu ku kom oreyu oana mwet lokoalok se lom?
25 Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?
Ya kom srike in aksangengyeyu? Wangin sripuk, nga oana sra se; Kom alein nu sin mah paola soko.
26 For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.
“Kom srukak ma koluk na lulap lainyu, Wi pac ma nga tuh oru ke nga mwet fusr.
27 Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet.
Kom filiya niuk ke mwe kapir; Kom tawiya fahluk nukewa luk, Ac lol pac falkuk yen nukewa nga fahsr nu we.
28 And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth eaten.
Ke sripa se inge, nga mwesri oana sie polosak kulawi, Oana sie nuknuk ma waten uh kangla.
