Jeremiah 9
1 Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!
၁ငါသည်အသတ်ခံကြသော မိမိအမျိုးသားများအတွက်နေ့ရောညဥ့်ပါ ငိုကြွေးနိုင်ရန်ငါ၏မျက်စိများသည် မျက်ရည်စမ်းကဲ့သို့လည်းကောင်း၊ ငါ၏ဦးခေါင်းသည်လည်းရေတွင်းကဲ့သို့ လည်းကောင်း ဖြစ်စေချင်စမ်းပါဘိ။
2 Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they [be] all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.
၂ငါသည်မိမိအမျိုးသားများအားစွန့်ခွာပြီး လျှင် သဲကန္တာရတွင်သွားရောက်နေထိုင်စရာ အခန်းတစ်ခုကိုလိုချင်စမ်းပါဘိ။ သူတို့အားလုံးပင်လျှင်သစ္စာမဲ့၍အခြား ဖောက်ပြားသူများဖြစ်ကြ၏။
3 And they bend their tongues [like] their bow [for] lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD.
၃သူတို့သည်လိမ်လည်ပြောဆိုရန်လေးမှ လွှတ်သော မြားကဲ့သို့အဘယ်အခါ၌မျှနှုတ်မလေးကြ။ တိုင်းပြည်တွင်သစ္စာတရားအုပ်စိုးမည့်အစား မုသားစကားအုပ်စိုးလျက်နေ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ ``ငါ၏လူမျိုးတော်သည်ဒုစရိုက်တစ်ခုပြီး တစ်ခု ကူးလွန်လျက် ငါ့ကိုသူတို့၏ဘုရားအဖြစ်လက်မခံကြ'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
4 Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders.
၄လူတိုင်းပင်မိမိတို့မိတ်ဆွေများကို သတိထား ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ အဘယ်သူမျှမိမိ၏ညီအစ်ကိုကိုယုံ၍မရ။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်ညီအစ်ကိုတိုင်းပင်လျှင် လှည့်စားတတ်၍ လူတိုင်းသည်လည်း၊မိမိမိတ်ဆွေများကို အသရေဖျက်တတ်ကြသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။
5 And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, [and] weary themselves to commit iniquity.
၅သူတို့သည်မိတ်ဆွေများကိုလိမ်လည်လှည့်စား ကြ၏။ အဘယ်သစ္စာစကားကိုမျှမပြောမဆိုကြ။ သူတို့သည်မုသားစကားပြောဆိုတတ်ရန် မိမိတို့နှုတ်ကိုသွန်သင်ထားကြ၏။ အပြစ်ကိုပြု၍မိမိတို့ကိုယ်ကိုမောပန်း စေကြပြီ။
6 Thine habitation [is] in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.
၆သူတို့သည်အပြစ်ဒုစရိုက်ကိုမစွန့်ပစ်ကြ။ သူတို့သည်လိမ်လည်လှည့်စားကြ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားကမိမိ၏လူမျိုးတော်သည် ကိုယ်တော်အားပစ်ပယ်ကြောင်းမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
7 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?
၇ဤအကြောင်းကြောင့်အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင် ထာဝရဘုရားက ``ငါသည်သတ္တုကိုအရည်ကျို၍ချွတ်သကဲ့သို့၊ ငါ့လူမျိုးတော်ကိုသန့်စင်အောင်ပြုမည်။ သူတို့အားငါဆန်းစစ်၍ကြည့်မည်။ ငါ၏လူမျိုးတော်သည်အပြစ်ဒုစရိုက်ကို ကူးလွန်ကြလေပြီ။ ငါသည်သူတို့အားအဘယ်သို့ပြုရမည်နည်း။
8 Their tongue [is as] an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: [one] speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait.
၈သူတို့၏လျှာသည်အဆိပ်လူးမြားနှင့်တူ၏။ သူတို့သည်လိမ်လည်လှည့်စားသည့်စကားကို အမြဲပြောဆိုကြ၏။ လူတိုင်းပင်မိမိအိမ်နီးချင်းအားနှုတ်ချိုစွာ ပြောဆိုတတ်သော်လည်း စင်စစ်အားဖြင့်၊သူ့အတွက်ထောင်ချောက်ကို ထောင်ဖမ်းလျက်နေသည်။
9 Shall I not visit them for these [things]? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
၉ဤသို့သောအမှုတို့ကိုပြုသည့်အတွက်ငါသည် သူတို့အားအပြစ်ဒဏ်မခတ်ဘဲနေရမည်လော။ ဤသို့သောလူမျိုးကိုငါသည်လက်စားမချေဘဲ နေရမည်လော။ ဤကားငါထာဝရဘုရားမြွက်ဟသည့်စကား ဖြစ်၏'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
10 For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through [them; ] neither can [men] hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone.
၁၀ယေရမိက``တောင်ရိုးများအတွက်ငါမြည် တမ်းမည်။ မြက်ခင်းများအတွက်ငါငိုကြွေးမည်။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်စားကျက်တို့သည် ခြောက်သွေ့သွား၍ ဖြတ်သန်းသွားလာမည့်သူကင်းမဲ့လျက် နေသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။ သိုးနွားမြည်သံကိုမကြားရကြတော့ပေ။ ငှက်များ၊တောတိရစ္ဆာန်များသည်လည်း ထွက်ပြေးကြလေပြီ'' ဟုဆို၏။
11 And I will make Jerusalem heaps, [and] a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.
၁၁ထာဝရဘုရားက``ငါသည်ယေရုရှလင် မြို့ကို တောခွေးများခိုအောင်းရာ၊ အဆောက်အအုံပျက်များစုဝေးရာအရပ် ဖြစ်စေမည်။ ယုဒမြို့တို့သည်လည်းလူသူဆိတ်ညံရာ သဲကန္တာရ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
12 Who [is] the wise man, that may understand this? and [who is he] to whom the mouth of the LORD hath spoken, that he may declare it, for what the land perisheth [and] is burned up like a wilderness, that none passeth through?
၁၂ငါက``အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဤပြည်သည်ဖြတ်သန်းသွားလာ၍မရ၊ ယို ယွင်းပျက်စီးလျက်သဲကန္တာရသဖွယ်ဖြစ် ၍နေပါသနည်း။ ဤအမှုအရာအကြောင်း ကိုသိရှိနိုင်စွမ်းရှိသည့်ပညာရှိကားအဘယ် သူဖြစ်ပါသနည်း။ သူတစ်ပါးတို့အားထပ် ဆင့်ပြောပြနိုင်ရန်အဘယ်သူအား ဤအမှု အရာအကြောင်းကိုကိုယ်တော်ရှင်ဖော်ပြ ထားပါသနည်း'' ဟုလျှောက်၏။
13 And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;
၁၃ထာဝရဘုရားက``ဤအမှုအရာဖြစ်ပျက် လာသည်မှာ ငါ၏လူမျိုးတော်သည်မိမိတို့ အားငါပေးအပ်ခဲ့သည့်သြဝါဒကိုစွန့်ပယ် ခဲ့ကြသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။ သူတို့သည်ငါ၏ စကားကိုနားမထောင်။ ငါပြောဆိုသည့် အတိုင်းလည်းမပြုမလုပ်ကြ။-
14 But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:
၁၄သူတို့သည်ခေါင်းမာလျက်မိမိဘိုးဘေး များသွန်သင်ထားခဲ့သည့်အတိုင်း ဗာလ ဘုရားကိုဝတ်ပြုရှိခိုးကြ၏။-
15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, [even] this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.
၁၅သို့ဖြစ်၍သူတို့အားဣသရေလအမျိုး သားတို့၏ဘုရားသခင်အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင် ငါထာဝရဘုရားသည် အဘယ်သို့ပြုတော် မူမည်ကိုနားထောင်လော့။ ငါသည်မိမိ၏ လူမျိုးတော်အားခါးသောဒေါနပင်ကို ကျွေး၍ အဆိပ်ပါသောရေကိုသောက်စေမည်။-
16 I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.
၁၆ငါသည်သူတို့နှင့်သူတို့ဘိုးဘေးများပင် မကြားဘူးသည့်လူမျိုးများအထဲတွင် သူ တို့အားပျံ့လွင့်သွားစေမည်။ ထိုနောက်သူတို့ အားလုံးဝပျက်စီးသည့်တိုင်အောင် တိုက်ခိုက် ရန်စစ်တပ်များကိုငါစေလွှတ်မည်'' ဟုမိန့် တော်မူ၏။
17 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning [women], that they may come:
၁၇အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားက ``စဉ်းစားဆင်ခြင်ကြလော့။ ငိုချင်းသည်များ၊မသာသီချင်းကိုကျွမ်း ကျင်စွာ သီဆိုတတ်သူ အမျိုးသမီးများအားခေါ်ယူကြလော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
18 And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.
၁၈လူတို့ကလည်း``ငါတို့မျက်စိများသည် မျက်ရည်နှင့်ပြည့်လျက် ငါတို့မျက်ခွံများသည်ငိုရလွန်းသဖြင့်မျက် ရည်နှင့် စိုစွတ်လျက်နေသည်တိုင်အောင် မသာသီချင်းကိုသီဆိုပေးနိုင်ရန်ငိုချင်းသည် တို့အား အမြန်ခေါ်ယူကြလော့'' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။
19 For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast [us] out.
၁၉``ငါတို့သည်ဆုံးပါးပျက်စီးလျက်၊လုံးဝ အသရေပျက် ရကြလေပြီတကား။ ငါတို့၏အိမ်ရာများသည်ပြိုပျက်သွားပြီဖြစ်၍ ငါတို့သည်မိမိတို့ပြည်ကိုစွန့်ခွာရကြပေတော့မည်'' ဟူ၍ဇိအုန်မြို့သားတို့ငိုကြွေးမြည်တမ်းသံကို နားထောင်ကြလော့ဟုဆိုကြ၏။
20 Yet hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation.
၂၀ငါက၊ ``အမျိုးသမီးတို့၊ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ သည်ကို နားထောင်ကြလော့။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏စကားတော်တို့ကို အာရုံစိုက်၍နာယူကြလော့။ သင်တို့၏သမီးများအားငိုကြွေးတတ်ရန် လည်းကောင်း၊ သင်တို့၏မိတ်ဆွေများအားမသာသီချင်းကို သီဆိုတတ်ရန်လည်းကောင်းသင်ကြားပေး ကြလော့။
21 For death is come up into our windows, [and] is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, [and] the young men from the streets.
၂၁သေမင်းသည်ငါတို့၏ပြူတင်းပေါက်အားဖြင့် ငါတို့ဘုံဗိမာန်များသို့ဝင်ရောက်လာလေပြီ။ သူသည်လမ်းများပေါ်ရှိကလေးသူငယ် တို့နှင့်၊ စျေးရပ်ကွက်များရှိလူငယ်လူရွယ်တို့ကို သတ်ဖြတ်လေပြီ။
22 Speak, Thus saith the LORD, Even the carcases of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather [them].
၂၂လူသေကောင်တို့သည်လယ်ပြင်ရှိနောက်ချေး ပုံများ ကဲ့သို့လည်းကောင်း၊ ရိတ်သိမ်းသူစွန့်ပစ်ထားခဲ့သည့်ကောက်လှိုင်း များ၊ အဘယ်သူမျှမစုမသိမ်းသည့်ကောက်လှိုင်း များ ကဲ့သို့လည်းကောင်းပြန့်ကျဲလျက်နေလိမ့်မည်။ ဤကားငါပြန်ကြားပြောဆိုရန်အတွက် ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်မှာတော်မူသောစကား ဖြစ်၏'' ဟုဆို၏။
23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise [man] glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty [man] glory in his might, let not the rich [man] glory in his riches:
၂၃ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ ``ပညာရှိသည်မိမိဉာဏ်ပညာရှိမှု၊ ခွန်အားကြီးမားသူသည်မိမိခွန်အားကြီး မားမှု၊ ချမ်းသာကြွယ်ဝသူသည်မိမိချမ်းသာ ကြွယ်ဝမှု၌ မဝါမကြွားအပ်။
24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I [am] the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these [things] I delight, saith the LORD.
၂၄အကယ်၍ဝါကြွားလိုသူလူတစ်စုံတစ်ယောက် ရှိပါမူ ထိုသူသည်ငါ၏အကြောင်းကိုသိရှိနားလည်မှု ၌သာလျှင်ဝါကြွားရာ၏။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်ငါ၏မေတ္တာသည်ခိုင်မြဲ၍ ငါပြုသောအမှုသည်တရားမျှတမှု၊ ဖြောင့်မတ်မှန်ကန်မှုရှိသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။ ဤအမှုတို့ကိုငါနှစ်သက်မြတ်နိုး၏။ ဤကားငါထာဝရဘုရားမြွက်ဟသည့် စကားပင်တည်း'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
25 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will punish all [them which are] circumcised with the uncircumcised;
၂၅ထာဝရဘုရားက``အီဂျစ်ပြည်သားများ၊ ယုဒ ပြည်သားများ၊ ဧဒုံပြည်သားများ၊ အမ္မုန်ပြည် သားများ၊ မောဘပြည်သားများနှင့်သဲကန္တာရ တွင်နေထိုင်ကာ ဆံပင်တိုထားသောလူမျိုး အားငါအပြစ်ဒဏ်ခတ်မည့်နေ့ရက်ကာလ ကျရောက်လာတော့မည်။ ထိုသူအပေါင်းတို့ သည်ပဋိညာဉ်သေတ္တာတော်၏သင်္ကေတဖြစ် သည့်အရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာကိုခံသော်လည်း ငါ၏ပဋိညာဉ်တော်ကိုမစောင့်ထိန်းကြ။ ထို သူအပေါင်းနှင့်ဣသရေလပြည်သားတို့ သည်ငါ၏ပဋိညာဉ်ကိုမစောင့်ထိန်းကြ'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
26 Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all [that are] in the utmost corners, that dwell in the wilderness: for all [these] nations [are] uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel [are] uncircumcised in the heart.
