Jeremiah 33
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
Y fue palabra de Jehová a Jeremías la segunda vez, estando él aun preso en el patio de la guarda, diciendo:
2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD [is] his name;
Así dijo Jehová que la hace, Jehová que la forma para afirmarla, Jehová es su nombre:
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Clama a mí, y responderte he, y enseñarte he cosas grandes y dificultosas que tú no sabes.
4 For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
Porque así dijo Jehová Dios de Israel de las casas de esta ciudad, y de las casas de los reyes de Judá, derribadas con trabucos y con espada:
5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but [it is] to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
Porque vinieron para pelear con los Caldeos, para henchirlas de cuerpos de hombres muertos, a los cuales yo herí con mi furor, y con mi ira; y porque escondí mi rostro de esta ciudad a causa de toda su malicia:
6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
He aquí que yo le hago subir sanidad y medicina; y curarlos he, y revelarles he multitud de paz y de verdad.
7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
Y haré volver la cautividad de Judá, y la cautividad de Israel, y edificarlos he como al principio.
8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
Y limpiarlos he de toda su maldad con que pecaron contra mí, y perdonaré todos sus pecados con que pecaron contra mí, y con que rebelaron contra mí.
9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
Y me será a mí por nombre de gozo, de alabanza, y de gloria entre todas las naciones de la tierra, que oyeron todo el bien que yo les hago; y temerán, y temblarán de todo el bien, y de toda la paz, que yo les haré.
10 Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say [shall be] desolate without man and without beast, [even] in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
Así dijo Jehová: Aun en este lugar, del cual decís que está desierto, sin hombres, y sin animales, se oirá en las ciudades de Judá, y en las calles de Jerusalem, que están asoladas sin hombre, y sin morador, y sin animal,
11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD [is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever: [and] of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.
Voz de gozo, y voz de alegría, voz de desposado, y voz de desposada, voz de los que digan: Confesád a Jehová de los ejércitos, porque es bueno Jehová, porque para siempre es su misericordia: de los que traigan alabanza a la casa de Jehová; porque tornaré a traer la cautividad de la tierra como al principio, dijo Jehová.
12 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing [their] flocks to lie down.
Así dijo Jehová de los ejércitos: Aun en este lugar desierto, sin hombre, y sin animal, y en todas sus ciudades, habrá cabaña de pastores que hagan tener majada a ganados.
13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth [them], saith the LORD.
En las ciudades de las montañas, en las ciudades de los campos, y en las ciudades que están al mediodía, y en tierra de Ben-jamín, y al rededor de Jerusalem, y en las ciudades de Judá aun pasarán ganados por las manos de los contadores, dijo Jehová.
14 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
He aquí que vienen días, dijo Jehová, en que yo confirmaré la palabra buena que he hablado a la casa de Israel, y a la casa de Judá.
15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
En aquellos días, y en aquel tiempo haré producir a David Pimpollo de justicia, y hará juicio y justicia en la tierra.
16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this [is the name] wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.
En aquellos días Judá será salvo, y Jerusalem habitará seguramente, y esto será lo que la llamará: Jehová justicia nuestra.
17 For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
Porque así dijo Jehová: No faltará a David varón que se asiente sobre el trono de la casa de Israel.
18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
Y de los sacerdotes y Levitas: No faltará varón que delante de mi presencia ofrezca holocausto, y encienda presente, y que haga sacrificio todos los días.
19 And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,
Y fue palabra de Jehová a Jeremías, diciendo:
20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
Así dijo Jehová: Si pudiereis invalidar mi concierto con el día, y mi concierto con la noche, para que no haya día ni noche a su tiempo:
21 [Then] may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
Así se podrá invalidar mi concierto con mi siervo David, para que deje de tener hijo que reine sobre su trono, y con los Levitas y sacerdotes mis ministros.
22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.
Como no puede ser contado el ejército del cielo, ni la arena de la mar se puede medir, así multiplicaré la simiente de David mi siervo, y los Levitas que ministran a mí.
23 Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
Y fue palabra de Jehová a Jeremías, diciendo:
24 Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
¿No has visto lo que habla este pueblo, diciendo: Dos familias que Jehová escogió ha desechado; y han tenido en poco mi pueblo hasta no tenerlos más por nación?
25 Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant [be] not with day and night, [and if] I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
Así dijo Jehová: Si mi concierto no permaneciere con el día y la noche, y si yo no he puesto las leyes del cielo y de la tierra;
26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, [so] that I will not take [any] of his seed [to be] rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
También desecharé la simiente de Jacob, y de David mi siervo, para no tomar de su simiente quien sea señor sobre la simiente de Abraham, de Isaac, y de Jacob; porque haré volver su cautividad, y habré de ellos misericordia.
