James 2
1 My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, [the Lord] of glory, with respect of persons.
୧ଏ ବାଇବଇନିମନ୍ ଆମର୍ ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା ମାପ୍ରୁ ଜିସୁ କିରିସ୍ଟକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାର୍ଲାଗି, ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ଅଲ୍ଗା ପିନ୍ଦାଅଡା ଦେକିକରି, ନିଜର୍ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି ବାଦ୍ଲାଇବାଟା ଟିକ୍ ନାଇ ।
2 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;
୨ଜଦି ସବାଇ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ସୁନାର୍ ମୁନ୍ଦି ଆରି ଜକ୍ମକି ଜାଇତେରଇବା ବସ୍ତର୍ ପିନ୍ଦିକରି ତମର୍ଲଗେ ଆଇସି, ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ମୁର୍କି ରଇ ଚିର୍ବୁର୍ଅଇରଇବା ବସ୍ତର୍ ପିନ୍ଦିକରି ଆଇସି ।
3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:
୩ଆରି ତମେ ସୁନ୍ଦର୍ ବସ୍ତର୍ ପିନ୍ଦିଆସି ରଇବା ଲକ୍କେ ଅଦିକ୍ ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ଦେଇକରି କଇସା, “ଆସା ଏ ନିକ କୁର୍ଚି ଉପ୍ରେ ବସା ।” ମାତର୍ ଅର୍କିତ୍ ଲକ୍କେ କଇସା “ତେଇ ଜାଇ ଟିଆ ଅ ।” ନଇଲେ “ତଲେ ବସ୍ ।” ବଲିକରି କଇସୁ ।
4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
୪ସେନ୍ତାର୍ ଆଲେତା ତମେ ନିଜର୍ ନିଜର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ବଡ୍ସାନ୍ ବଲିକରି ଅଲ୍ଗା ଇସାବେ ଦେକ୍ଲାସ୍ନି । ଆରି କାରାପ୍ ଇସାବେ ମୁ ଦେକି, ବିଚାର୍ କଲାସ୍ନି ।
5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
୫ଏ ମର୍ ଆଲାଦର୍ ମଇତର୍ମନ୍ ସୁନା, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଏ ଜଗତର୍ ଅର୍କିତ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ବାଚି ଆଚେ । ସେମନ୍ ତାକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବାଇ ଆରି ତାର୍ ରାଇଜେ କେଟ୍ବାଇ । ତାକେ ଆଲାଦ୍କର୍ବା ସବୁ ଲକ୍କେ ସେ ରାଇଜ୍ ଦେବିବଲି କାତା ଦେଏ ନାଇ କି?
6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
୬ମାତର୍ ତମେ ଅର୍କିତ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ଦିଆସ୍ ନାଇ । ସାଉକାର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ସେ ତମ୍କେ କସ୍ଟ ଦେଲାଇନି । ସେମନ୍ସେ ତମ୍କେ ବିଚାର୍ନା ଜାଗାଇ ଜିକି ନେଲାଇନି ।
7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
୭ତମ୍କେ ଜନ୍ ନାଉଁ ଜିସୁ କିରିସ୍ଟ ଦିଆଅଇଆଚେ, ସେ ନାଉଁ ନେଇକରି ନିନ୍ଦା କଲାଇନି ।
8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
୮ନିଜ୍କେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କଲାପାରା ବିନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କରା । ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକା ଅଇରଇଲାପାରା ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ରାଇଜର୍ ଏ ନିୟମ୍ ଜଦି ତମେ ମାନ୍ସା, ସେନ୍ତାର୍ ଆଲେ ଟିକ୍ କଲାସ୍ନି ।
9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
୯ମାତର୍ ତମେ ଜଦି ବଡ୍ ସାନ୍ ଦେକ୍ଲାସ୍ନି, ପାପ୍ କଲାସ୍ନି । ଆରି ସେ ରିତିନିତିର୍ ଲାଗି ଦସି ବଲାଇ ଅଇଲାସ୍ନି ।
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one [point], he is guilty of all.
୧୦କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଜେ ମିସା ସବୁ ନିଅମ ମାନିକରି ଗଟେକ୍ ନିୟମ୍ ଚାଡିଦେଲେ, କାଇ ନିୟମ୍ ନ ମାନ୍ଲା ଲକର୍ ପାରା ଦସିଅଇ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାଇସା ।
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
୧୧କାଇକେବଇଲେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ କଇଲାଆଚେ “ତମେ ବେସିଆ କାମ୍ କର୍ବାର୍ନାଇ, ଆରି ନର୍ ମାର୍ବାର୍ ନାଇ” ବଲିକରି । ତେବେ ତମେ ଜଦି ବେସିଆ କାମ୍ ନ କରି, ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ମାର୍ସା, ତେବେ ତାର୍ ନିଅମ୍ ମାନାସ୍ ନାଇ ।
12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
୧୨ପର୍ମେସର୍ ବିଚାର୍ନା କର୍ସି ବଲି ଜାନିକରି ସେନ୍ତାରି କାତା କଇ କାମ୍ କରି ଦେକାଆ । ଜନ୍ ନିୟମ୍ ଆମ୍କେ ମୁକ୍ଲାଇସି, ସେ ନିୟମ୍ ଇସାବେ ଆମ୍କେ ବିଚାର୍ନା କର୍ସି ।
13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
୧୩କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଜନ୍ଲକ୍ ବିନ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ଦୟା ନ ଦେକାଏ, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ବିଚାର୍ନା କର୍ବାବେଲେ ତାକେ ମିସା ଦୟା ନ ଦେକାଏ । ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ବିନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଦୟା କରିଆଚେ, ସେମନ୍ ବିଚାର୍ନାଟାନେ ଡର୍ବାର୍ ନାଇ ।
14 What [doth it] profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
୧୪ଏ ମର୍ ବାଇବଇନିମନ୍, ଜଦି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ମୁଇ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲିନି ବଲି କଇସି । ମାତର୍ ତାର୍ କାମ୍ କଲାଟାନେ ସେଟା ନ ଡିସେ ବଇଲେ, ତାର୍ ପାଇ କାଇ ମୁଲିଅ ନାଇ । ଏନ୍ତାରି ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ତାକେ କାଇ ମୁକ୍ତି ଦେଇ ନାପାରେ ।
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
୧୫ଜଦି ଗଟେକ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସି ବାଇ କି ବଇନିକେ, ସେ ଦିନର୍ ପାଇ କାଇବାକେ କି ପିନ୍ଦ୍ବାକେ ନ ରଇଲେ,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be [ye] warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what [doth it] profit?
୧୬ତମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ କେଆଲେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ତାର୍ ଲଗେ ଜାଇ, ତକେ ପେଟ୍କେ କାଦି ଆରି ଗାଗଡ୍କେ ଲୁଗା ମିଲ ବଲି କଇସା । ତମେ ତାକେ ଲଡାକେ ଲାଗ୍ବାଟା ନ ଦେଇ ଏନ୍ତାରି କଇଲେ କାଇ ଲାବ୍?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
୧୭ସେନ୍ତାରିସେ ଗଟେକ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବା ଲକ୍ ତାର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ନିକ କାମ୍ ମିସା ନ ଡିସ୍ଲେ ତାର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ମରିଗାଲା ଆଚେ ।
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
୧୮ମାତର୍ କେ ଆଲେ ମକେ କଇସି, ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ଆଚେ ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକର୍ ନିକ କାମ୍ ଆଚେ, ମୁଇ ତାକେ କଇବି ନିକ କାମ୍ ଚାଡି, ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ କେନ୍ତି ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ଅଇସି? । ଅବ୍କା ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ତେରଇବା ଲକ୍ ରଇଲେ ମକେ ଦେକାଆ । ମର୍ କର୍ବା ନିକ କାମ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ମୁଇ ଦେକାଇବି ।
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
୧୯ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ସେ ଆଚେବଲି ତମେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାସ୍ନି, ସେଟା ନିକ । ଡୁମାମନ୍ ମିସା ସେନ୍ତାରି ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାଇନି ଆରି ଡରିକରି ଗଜ୍ଗଜି ଜିବାଇ ।
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
୨୦ମାତର୍ ଏ ନିଲ୍ଜାଇ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତମେ ବୁଜିନାପାରାସ୍, ଜଦି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ମୁଇ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲିନି, ବଲି କଇସି ଆରି ନିକ କାମ୍ ନ କରେ, ସେନ୍ତାର୍ଆଲେ ତାର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବାଟା ଚୁଚାଇସେ ।
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
୨୧ଆମର୍ ପୁର୍ବର୍ ଆନିଦାଦି ଅବ୍ରାଆମ୍ କେ ଦେକା, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତାକେ ଦରମ୍ ଲକ୍ ବଲି ଡାକ୍ଲା । ସେଟା ତାର୍ ନିକ କାମ୍ ପାଇ । ଜେଡେବେଲେ ନିଜର୍ ପିଲା ଇସାକ୍କେ ବେଦିଟାନେ ବଲି ଦେବାବେଲେ ନେଇରଇଲା ।
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
୨୨ତମେ ଦେକ୍ଲାସ୍ନିଜେ, ତାର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ଆରି କରମ୍ ମିସିକରି ରଇଲା । ସେ କରିରଇବା କରମର୍ ଲାଗି ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ସିଦ୍ ଅଇଲା ।
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
୨୩ଏଟାର୍ ଲାଗି ଦରମ୍ ସାସ୍ତରର୍ ଏ ବାକିଅ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଇଲା । ଅବ୍ରାଆମ୍ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲା । ତାର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସର୍ ଲାଗି ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଦେକ୍ବା ଇସାବେ ଦରମ୍ ଲକ୍ ବଲି ଏଜାଇଅଇଲା । ଆରି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତାକେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ମଇତର୍ ବଲି ଡାକିରଇଲାଇ ।
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
୨୪ଅବ୍କା ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲେସେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ଦରମ୍ ବଲି ନାମାଇଅଇ ନଏଁ, ମାତର୍ ତାର୍ କର୍ବା ନିକ କାମର୍ ଲାଗି ଅଇସି । ଏଟା ତମେ ଦେକ୍ଲାସ୍ନି ।
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent [them] out another way?
୨୫ସେନ୍ତାରିସେ ବେସିଆ ମାଇଜି ରାଆବ୍କେ ମିସା ଅଇଲା । ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର୍ ଦେକାଦେକି କର୍ବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଡାକିନେଲା ଆରି ବିନ୍ ବାଟେ ବାରଇଜିବାକେ ସାଇଜ କଲା । ସେ ଏନ୍ତାରି କଲାକେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଦେକ୍ବା ଇସାବେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦରମ୍ ଲକ୍ ବଲି ଜାନାଇଅଇଲା ।
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
୨୬ତେବେ, ଆତ୍ମା ଚାଡିଗାଲେ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ଗାଗଡ୍ ଜେନ୍ତିକି ମଲା ସମାନ୍, ସେନ୍ତାରିସେ ନିକ କାମ୍ ନ କଲେ, ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ମିସା ମଲା ସମାନ୍ ଆଚେ ।
