Isaiah 5
1 Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
௧இப்பொழுது நான் என் நேசரிடத்தில் அவருடைய திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்தைக்குறித்து என் நேசருக்கேற்ற ஒரு பாட்டைப் பாடுவேன்; என் நேசருக்கு மகா செழிப்பான மேட்டிலே ஒரு திராட்சைத்தோட்டம் உண்டு.
2 And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.
௨அவர் அதை வேலியடைத்து, அதிலுள்ள கற்களை அகற்றி, அதிலே உயர்ந்தரக திராட்சைச்செடிகளை நட்டு, அதின் நடுவில் ஒரு கோபுரத்தைக்கட்டி, அதில் ஆலையையும் உண்டாக்கி, அது நல்ல திராட்சைப்பழங்களைத் தருமென்று காத்திருந்தார்; அதுவோ கசப்பான பழங்களைத் தந்தது.
3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.
௩எருசலேமின் குடிமக்களே, யூதாவின் மனிதர்களே, எனக்கும் என் திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்திற்கும் நியாயந்தீருங்கள்.
4 What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
௪நான் என் திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்திற்காகச் செய்யாத எந்த வேலையை அதற்கு இனிச் செய்யலாம்? அது நல்ல திராட்சைப்பழங்களைத் தருமென்று நான் காத்திருக்க, அது கசப்பான பழங்களைத் தந்ததென்ன?
5 And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; [and] break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:
௫இப்போதும் நான் என் திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்திற்குச் செய்வதை உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பேன்; அதின் வேலியை எடுத்துப்போடுவேன், அது மேய்ந்துபோடப்படும்; அதின் அடைப்பைத் தகர்ப்பேன், அது மிதிக்கப்பட்டுப்போகும்.
6 And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
௬அதைப் பாழாக்கிவிடுவேன்; அதின் கிளை நறுக்கப்படாமலும், களை கொத்தி எடுக்கப்படாமலும் போவதினால், முட்செடியும் நெரிஞ்சிலும் முளைக்கும்; அதின்மேல் மழை பெய்யாதபடிக்கு மேகங்களுக்கும் கட்டளையிடுவேன் என்கிறார்.
7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts [is] the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.
௭சேனைகளின் யெகோவாவுடைய திராட்சைத்தோட்டம் இஸ்ரவேலின் வம்சமே; அவருடைய மனமகிழ்ச்சியின் நாற்று யூதாவின் மனிதர்களே; அவர் நியாயத்திற்குக் காத்திருந்தார், இதோ, கொடுமை; நீதிக்குக் காத்திருந்தார், இதோ, முறையிடுதல்.
8 Woe unto them that join house to house, [that] lay field to field, till [there be] no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!
௮தாங்கள்மாத்திரம் தேசத்தின் நடுவில் வாசமாயிருக்கும்படி மற்றவர்களுக்கு இடமில்லாமற்போகும்வரை, வீட்டுடன் வீட்டைச் சேர்த்து, வயலுடன் வயலைக் கூட்டுகிறவர்களுக்கு ஐயோ,
9 In mine ears [said] the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, [even] great and fair, without inhabitant.
௯சேனைகளின் யெகோவா என் காது கேட்கச் சொன்னது: உண்மையாகவே அந்தத் திரளான வீடுகள் பாழாகும்; பெரியவைகளும் நேர்த்தியானவைகளுமாகிய வீடுகள் குடியில்லாதிருக்கும்.
10 Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.
௧0பத்து ஏர் நிலமாகிய திராட்சைத்தோட்டம் ஒரேபடி ரசம் தரும்; ஒரு கல விதை ஒரு குறுணி விளையும்.
11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, [that] they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, [till] wine inflame them!
௧௧சாராயத்தை நாடி அதிகாலமே எழுந்து, மதுபானம் தங்களைச் சூடாக்கும்படி அமர்ந்திருந்து, இருட்டிப்போகும்வரை குடித்துக்கொண்டேயிருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஐயோ,
12 And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.
௧௨அவர்கள் சுரமண்டலத்தையும், தம்புருவையும், மேளத்தையும், நாகசுரத்தையும், மதுபானத்தையும் வைத்து விருந்துகொண்டாடுகிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் யெகோவாவின் செயலை கவனிக்கிறதுமில்லை; அவர் கரத்தின் செய்கையைச் சிந்திக்கிறதுமில்லை.
13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because [they have] no knowledge: and their honourable men [are] famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
௧௩என் மக்கள் அறிவில்லாமையினால் சிறைப்பட்டுப்போகிறார்கள்; அவர்களில் கனமுள்ளவர்கள் பட்டினியினால் துவண்டுபோகிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய திரளான கூட்டத்தார் தாகத்தால் நாவறண்டு போகிறார்கள்.
14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. (Sheol h7585)
௧௪அதினால் பாதாளம் தன்னை விரிவாக்கி, தன் வாயை ஆவென்று மிகவும் விரிவாகத் திறந்தது; அவர்களுடைய மகிமையும், அவர்களுடைய பெரிய கூட்டமும், அவர்களின் ஆடம்பரமும், அவர்களில் களிகூருகிறவர்களும் அப்பாதாளத்திற்குள் இறங்கிப்போவார்கள். (Sheol h7585)
15 And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:
௧௫சிறியவன் தாழ்த்தப்படுவான், பெரியவனும் தாழ்ச்சியடைவான்; மேட்டிமையானவர்களின் கண்கள் தாழ்ந்துபோகும்.
16 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.
௧௬சேனைகளின் யெகோவா நியாயத்தீர்ப்பினால் உயர்ந்து, பரிசுத்தமுள்ள தேவன் நீதியினால் பரிசுத்தராக விளங்குவார்.
17 Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.
௧௭அப்பொழுது ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகள் கண்டவிடமெல்லாம் மேயும்; கொழுத்தவர்களுடையதாயிருந்து பாழாய்ப்போன நிலங்களைப் பரதேசிகள் அனுபவிப்பார்கள்.
18 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:
௧௮மாயையின் கயிறுகளால் அக்கிரமத்தையும், வண்டியின் வடங்களால் பாவத்தையும் இழுத்துக்கொண்டு வந்து,
19 That say, Let him make speed, [and] hasten his work, that we may see [it: ] and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know [it]!
௧௯நாம் பார்க்கும்படி, அவர் துரிதமாகத் தமது கிரியையைச் சீக்கிரமாக நடப்பிக்கட்டுமென்றும், இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தருடைய ஆலோசனையை நாம் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும்படி அது சமீபித்து வரட்டுமென்றும் சொல்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஐயோ,
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
௨0தீமையை நன்மையென்றும், நன்மையைத் தீமையென்றும் சொல்லி, இருளை வெளிச்சமும், வெளிச்சத்தை இருளுமாகப் பாவித்து, கசப்பைத் தித்திப்பும், தித்திப்பைக் கசப்புமென்று சாதிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஐயோ,
21 Woe unto [them that are] wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
௨௧தங்கள் பார்வைக்கு ஞானிகளும், தங்கள் எண்ணத்திற்குப் புத்திமான்களுமாக இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஐயோ,
22 Woe unto [them that are] mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
௨௨சாராயத்தைக் குடிக்க வீரர்களும், மதுவைக் கலந்துவைக்கப் பராக்கிரமசாலிகளுமாயிருந்து,
23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
௨௩லஞ்சத்திற்காகக் குற்றவாளியை நீதிமானாகத் தீர்த்து, நீதிமானின் நியாயத்தை அவனுக்கு விரோதமாகப் புரட்டுகிறவர்களுக்கு ஐயோ,
24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, [so] their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
௨௪இதினிமித்தம் நெருப்புத்தழல் வைக்கோலை சுட்டெரிப்பதுபோலவும், செத்தையானது நெருப்புக்கு இரையாகி எரிந்துபோவதுபோலவும், அவர்களுடைய வேர் வாடி, அவர்களுடைய துளிர் தூசியைப்போல் பறந்துபோகும்; அவர்கள் சேனைகளின் யெகோவாவுடைய வேதத்தை வெறுத்து, இஸ்ரவேலிலுள்ள பரிசுத்தருடைய வசனத்தை அசட்டை செய்தார்களே.
25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases [were] torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still.
௨௫ஆகையால் யெகோவாவுடைய கோபம் தமது மக்களுக்கு விரோதமாக மூண்டது; அவர் தமது கையை அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக நீட்டி, மலைகள் அதிரத்தக்கதாகவும், அவர்களுடைய பிணங்கள் நடுவீதிகளில் குப்பை போலாகத்தக்கதாகவும், அவர்களை அடித்தார்; இவை எல்லாவற்றிலும் அவருடைய கோபம் தணியாமல், இன்னும் அவருடைய கை நீட்டினபடியே இருக்கிறது.
26 And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:
௨௬அவர் தூரத்திலுள்ள தேசத்தாருக்கு ஒரு கொடியை ஏற்றி, அவர்களைப் பூமியின் தூரமான இடங்களிலிருந்து சைகைகாட்டி அழைப்பார்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் துரிதமும் வேகமுமாக வருவார்கள்.
27 None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:
௨௭அவர்களில் சோர்வடைந்தவனும் தடுமாறுகிறவனும் இல்லை; தூங்குகிறவனும் உறங்குகிறவனும் இல்லை; அவர்களில் ஒருவனுடைய இடுப்பின் கச்சை அவிழ்வதும், காலணிகளின் வார் அறுந்துபோவதும் இல்லை.
28 Whose arrows [are] sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
௨௮அவர்களுடைய அம்புகள் கூர்மையும், அவர்களுடைய வில்லுகளெல்லாம் நாணேற்றினவைகளும், அவர்களுடைய குதிரைகளின் குளம்புகள் கற்பாறையாக எண்ணப்பட்டவைகளும், அவர்களுடைய உருளைகள் சுழல்காற்றுக்கு ஒத்தவைகளுமாயிருக்கும்.
29 Their roaring [shall be] like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry [it] away safe, and none shall deliver [it].
௨௯அவர்களுடைய கெர்ச்சிப்பு சிங்கத்தின் கெர்ச்சிப்புபோலிருக்கிறது; பாலசிங்கங்களைப்போலக் கெர்ச்சித்து, உறுமி, இரையைப் பிடித்து, காப்பாற்றுகிறவன் இல்லாமல், அதை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போய்விடுவார்கள்.
30 And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if [one] look unto the land, behold darkness [and] sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
௩0அந்நாளில், கடல் இரைவதுபோல் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக இரைவார்கள்; அப்பொழுது தேசத்தைப்பார்த்தால், இதோ, அந்தகாரமும் வியாகுலமும் உண்டு; அதின் மேகங்களினால் வெளிச்சம் இருண்டுபோகும்.
