Isaiah 33
1 Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou [wast] not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; [and] when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
१अरे विध्वंसका, जो तुझा नाश झाला नाही! अरे विश्वासघातक्या, जो तुझा त्यांनी विश्वासघात केला नाही, तुला धिक्कार असो! जेव्हा तू विध्वंस करणे थांबवशील तेव्हा तू नाश पावशील, जेव्हा तू विश्वासघातकीपणा सोडशील, तेव्हा ते तुझा विश्वासघात करतील.
2 O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
२हे परमेश्वरा, आमच्यावर कृपा कर; आम्ही तुझी वाट पाहतो; रोज सकाळी तू आमचा भुज हो, आमच्या संकटकाळी आमचा उद्धारक हो.
3 At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
३मोठा आवाज ऐकताच लोक पळून गेले; जेव्हा तू उठलास, राष्ट्रांची पांगापांग झाली.
4 And your spoil shall be gathered [like] the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.
४टोळ नाश करतात त्याप्रमाणे तुमची लूट गोळा करतील, जसे टोळ धाड टाकतात तसे मनुष्ये तिजवर धाड टाकतील.
5 The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
५परमेश्वर उंचावला आहे. तो उच्चस्थानी राहतो. त्याने सियोनेस प्रामाणिकपणा व चांगुलपणा यांनी भरले आहे.
6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, [and] strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD [is] his treasure.
६तुझ्याकाळी तो स्थिरता देईल, तारण, सुज्ञता व ज्ञान, यांची विपुलता देईल, परमेश्वराचे भय त्याचा धनसंग्रह होईल.
7 Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
७पाहा त्याचे वीर बाहेर रस्त्यात रडत आहेत; शांतीचा संदेश आणणारे शांतीच्या आशेने स्फुंदून जोराने रडत आहेत.
8 The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
८राजमार्ग ओसाड पडले आहेत; तेथे कोणीही प्रवासी नाही. त्याने निर्बंध मोडला आहे, साक्षीदारांसह तुच्छ लेखले, आणि नगरांचा अनादर केला.
9 The earth mourneth [and] languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed [and] hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off [their fruits].
९भूमी शोक करते आणि ती शुष्क झाली आहे; लबानोन निस्तेज झाला आहे आणि शुष्क झाला आहे; शारोन सपाट रानाप्रमाणे झाला आहे; आणि बाशान व कर्मेल आपली पाने गाळीत आहेत.
10 Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.
१०परमेश्वर म्हणतो आता मी उठेन, आता मी उठून उभा राहिल, आता मी उंचावला जाईन.
11 Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, [as] fire, shall devour you.
११तुम्ही भुसकटाची गर्भधारणा कराल व धसकट प्रसवाल, तुमचा श्वास अग्नी आहे तो तुम्हास खाऊन टाकील.
12 And the people shall be [as] the burnings of lime: [as] thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
१२लोक भाजलेल्या चुन्याप्रमाणे भस्म होतील, जसे काटेरी झुडपे तोडून व अग्नीत टाकतात.
13 Hear, ye [that are] far off, what I have done; and, ye [that are] near, acknowledge my might.
१३जे तुम्ही फार दूर आहात, मी काय केले आहे ते ऐका; आणि जे तुम्ही जवळ आहात, ते तुम्ही माझे सामर्थ्य जाणून घ्या.
14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
१४सियोनेतील पापी घाबरले आहेत. अधर्म्यास थरकाप सुटला आहे. आमच्यातला कोण जाळून टाकणाऱ्या अग्नीत वस्ती करील?
15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
१५तो, नीतीने वागतो व सत्य बोलतो, जुलूमजबरी करून मिळणारा लाभ तुच्छ लेखतो; जो लाच नाकारतो, घातपातांचा कट करीत नाही व दुष्कृत्याकडे पाहत नाही.
16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defence [shall be] the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters [shall be] sure.
१६तो आपले घर उच्च स्थळी करील; त्याचे रक्षणाचे स्थान पाषाणाच्या तटबंदीचे दुर्ग असे होतील; त्यांना अन्न व पाण्याचा मुबलक पुरवठा अखंडीत चालू राहील.
17 Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
१७तुझे नेत्र राजाला त्याच्या शोभेत पाहतील; ते विस्तीर्ण भूमी पाहतील.
18 Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where [is] the scribe? where [is] the receiver? where [is] he that counted the towers?
१८भयप्रद गोष्टींचे स्मरण तुझ्या मनाला होईल; लिखाण करणारा कोठे आहे, पैसे तोलणारा कोठे आहे? मनोऱ्यांची गणती करणारा कोठे आहे?
19 Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, [that thou canst] not understand.
१९उद्धट मनोवृतीचे लोक, अनोळखी भाषा बोलणारे लोक, ज्यांचे तुला पुर्णपणे आकलन झाले नाही अशा लोकांस तू फार काळ पाहणार नाहीस.
20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle [that] shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
२०सियोनेकडे पाहा, हे नगर आपल्या मेजवाणीचे आहे; तुझे डोळे यरूशलेमेकडे शांतीचे वस्तीस्थान म्हणून पाहतील. त्याचा तंबू कधीही काढणार नाहीत, त्याच्या खुंट्या कधीही उपटणार नाहीत, ज्याच्या दोरखंडातील एकही दोरी तुटणार नाही.
21 But there the glorious LORD [will be] unto us a place of broad rivers [and] streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
२१त्या जागी वैभवी परमेश्वर आपल्या समवेत असेल, ती जागा रूंद नदी व प्रवाहांची अशी होईल. त्यामध्ये वल्हेकऱ्यांच्या युद्ध नौका आणि मोठे जहाज त्यातून प्रवास करणार नाहीत.
22 For the LORD [is] our judge, the LORD [is] our lawgiver, the LORD [is] our king; he will save us.
२२कारण परमेश्वर आमचा न्यायाधीश आहे. परमेश्वरच आम्हास न्याय देणारा आहे, परमेश्वर आमचा राजा आहे; तोच आम्हास तारील.
23 Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
२३तुझे दोर ढिले झाले आहेत; त्यांना आपल्या डोलकाठीस घट्ट धरून ठेवत आधार नाहीत; ते शीड पसरीत नाहीत; जेव्हा मोठ्या लुटीची लूट वाटण्यात आली, जे पांगळे त्यांनी लूट वाटून घेतली.
24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein [shall be] forgiven [their] iniquity.
२४मी रोगी आहे, असे म्हणणारा त्यामध्ये वस्ती करणार नाही. जे लोक त्यामध्ये राहतात त्यांच्या अन्यायांची क्षमा करण्यात येईल.
