Isaiah 3
1 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,
Pois, eis que o Senhor, Javé dos Exércitos, retira de Jerusalém e de Judá o abastecimento e o apoio, o fornecimento total de pão, e todo o fornecimento de água;
2 The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,
o homem poderoso, o homem de guerra, o juiz, o profeta, o adivinho, o mais velho,
3 The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.
o capitão de cinqüenta, o homem honrado, o conselheiro, o habilidoso artesão, e o feiticeiro esperto.
4 And I will give children [to be] their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
Darei aos rapazes para serem seus príncipes, e as crianças devem governar sobre eles.
5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.
O povo será oprimido, todos por outro, e todos por seu vizinho. A criança se comportará orgulhosamente contra o velhote, e os malvados contra os honrados.
6 When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, [saying], Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and [let] this ruin [be] under thy hand:
De fato, um homem deve tomar posse de seu irmão na casa de seu pai, dizendo, “Você tem roupas, você é nosso governante”, e que esta ruína esteja sob sua mão”.
7 In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house [is] neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.
Naquele dia ele vai gritar, dizendo: “Eu não serei um curandeiro”; pois em minha casa não há nem pão nem roupa. Não me farás governar o povo”.
8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings [are] against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
Pois Jerusalém está arruinada, e Judá está caído; porque sua língua e seus feitos são contra Yahweh, para provocar os olhos de sua glória.
9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide [it] not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
O olhar de seus rostos testemunha contra eles. Eles desfilam seus pecados como Sodoma. Eles não o escondem. Ai de sua alma! Pois eles trouxeram o desastre sobre si mesmos.
10 Say ye to the righteous, that [it shall be] well [with him: ] for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Diga aos justos que estará bem com eles, pois eles comerão o fruto de suas obras.
11 Woe unto the wicked! [it shall be] ill [with him: ] for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
Ai dos malvados! O desastre está sobre eles, pelos atos de suas mãos serão pagos a eles.
12 [As for] my people, children [are] their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause [thee] to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
As para meu povo, as crianças são seus opressores, e as mulheres governam sobre eles. Meu povo, aqueles que o lideram, fazem com que você erre, e destruir o caminho de seus caminhos.
13 The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.
Yahweh se levanta para lutar, e está de pé para julgar os povos.
14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor [is] in your houses.
Yahweh entrará em julgamento com os anciãos de seu povo e seus líderes: “É você quem comeu a vinha. O saque dos pobres está em suas casas.
15 What mean ye [that] ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
What você quer dizer que você esmaga meu povo, e moer o rosto dos pobres...” diz o Senhor, Yahweh dos Exércitos.
16 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing [as] they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
Moreover Yahweh disse: “Porque as filhas de Sião são arrogantes”, e caminhar com o pescoço esticado e os olhos flertados, andando daintily como eles andam, ornamentos que se agitam em seus pés;
17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.
portanto, o Senhor traz feridas na coroa da cabeça das mulheres de Sião, e Yahweh fará seu couro cabeludo careca”.
18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of [their] tinkling ornaments [about their feet], and [their] cauls, and [their] round tires like the moon,
Naquele dia o Senhor tirará a beleza de seus tornozeleiras, as fitas de cabeça, os colares crescentes,
19 The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
the os brincos, as pulseiras, os véus,
20 The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,
os toucadores, as correntes de tornozelo, as faixas, os recipientes de perfume, os encantos,
21 The rings, and nose jewels,
os anéis de sinalização, os anéis de nariz,
22 The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,
the as túnicas finas, as capas, as capas, as bolsas,
23 The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.

24 And it shall come to pass, [that] instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; [and] burning instead of beauty.
Acontecerá que ao invés de especiarias doces, haverá podridão; ao invés de um cinto, uma corda; em vez de cabelos bem penteados, calvície; ao invés de um manto, um uso de pano de saco; e branding ao invés de beleza.
25 Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.
Seus homens devem cair pela espada, e seus poderosos na guerra.
26 And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she [being] desolate shall sit upon the ground.
Her portões devem lamentar e lamentar. Ela deve estar desolada e sentar-se no chão.
