Hosea 7
1 When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, [and] the troop of robbers spoileth without.
১যখনই আমি ইস্রায়েলকে সুস্থ করতে চাই, ইফ্রয়িমের পাপ প্রকাশ পায়, পাশাপাশি শমরিয়ার মন্দ কাজও প্রকাশ পায়, কারণ তারা প্রতারণাও করে; একটি চোর ভিতরে আসে এবং একটি ডাকাত দল রাস্তা আক্রমণ করে লুট করে।
2 And they consider not in their hearts [that] I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.
২তারা তাদের হৃদয়ে অনুভব করে না যে আমি তাদের সমস্ত মন্দ কাজ মনে রেখেছি। এখন তাদের কাজ তাদের চারিদিক দিয়ে ঘিরেছে; তারা আমার সামনে রয়েছে।
3 They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.
৩তাদের মন্দতা দিয়ে তারা রাজাকে এবং তাদের মিথ্যা দিয়ে আধিকারিকদেরকে খুশি করেছে।
4 They [are] all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, [who] ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.
৪তারা সকলে ব্যভিচারী, রুটিওয়ালার উনুনের সমান, যে আগুন নাড়া বন্ধ রাখে যতক্ষণ না ময়দার তালে খামি মিশছে।
5 In the day of our king the princes have made [him] sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.
৫আমাদের রাজার দিনের আধিকারিকরা নিজেদেরকে অসুস্থ করে তুলল মদের উত্তাপে। সে তাদের সঙ্গে হাত বাড়ায় যারা উপহাস করে।
6 For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.
৬কারণ হৃদয় তন্দুরের মত, তারা রচনা করে তাদের ঠকানোর পরিকল্পনা। তাদের রাগ সারা রাত ধিকিধিকি করে জ্বলে; সকাল এটা খুব জোরে জ্বলতে থাকে যেমন প্রচণ্ড আগুন।
7 They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: [there is] none among them that calleth unto me.
৭তারা সবাই উনুনের মত গরম এবং তারা তাদের গ্রাস করল যারা তাদের ওপর শাসন করত। তাদের সমস্ত রাজা ধ্বংস হয়েছে; তাদের কেউ আমায় ডাকে না।
8 Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.
৮ইফ্রয়িম নিজেই লোকেদের সঙ্গে মিশে গেছে, ইফ্রয়িম হল এক পিঠ সেঁকা পিঠে যা উল্টানো হয়নি।
9 Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth [it] not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.
৯বিদেশীরা তার শক্তি গ্রাস করেছে, কিন্তু সে তা জানে না। পাকা চুল তার মাথায় ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে, কিন্তু সে তা জানে না।
10 And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.
১০ইস্রায়েলের গর্ব তার বিরুদ্ধে সাক্ষ্য দিয়েছে; তবুও, এই সব হওয়া সত্বেও তারা তাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর কাছে ফিরে আসেনি, না তারা তাঁকে খুঁজেছে।
11 Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.
১১ইফ্রয়িম পায়রার মত, অতি সরল এবং বুদ্ধিহীন, মিশরকে ডাকে, তারপর অশূরে পালায়।
12 When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.
১২যখন তারা যায়, আমি তাদের ওপর আমার জাল বিস্তার করব, আমি তাদের আকাশের পাখির মত নামিয়ে আনব। আমি তাদের সমস্ত গোষ্টিকে শাস্তি দেব।
13 Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
১৩ধিক তাদের! কারণ তারা আমার থেকে দূরে সরে গেছে। তাদের উপরে ধ্বংস নেমে আসছে! তারা আমার বিরুদ্ধে বিদ্রোহ করেছে! আমি তাদের রক্ষা করতাম, কিন্তু তারা আমার বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যেকথা বলেছে।
14 And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, [and] they rebel against me.
১৪তারা আমার কাছে তাদের সম্পূর্ণ হৃদয় দিয়ে কাঁদেনি, কিন্তু তারা তাদের বিছানায় বিলাপ করেছে। তারা জড়ো হয়েছিল শস্য এবং নতুন আঙ্গুর রস পাওয়ার জন্য এবং তারা আমাকে ছেড়ে চলে গিয়েছিল।
15 Though I have bound [and] strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.
১৫যদিও আমি তাদের শিক্ষা দিয়েছি এবং তাদের হাত শক্তিশালী করেছি, তারা এখন আমার বিরুদ্ধে মন্দ চক্রান্ত করছে।
16 They return, [but] not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this [shall be] their derision in the land of Egypt.
১৬তারা ফিরে আসবে, কিন্তু তারা আমার কাছে ফিরে আসবে না, যিনি অতি মহান সর্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বর। তারা ত্রুটিপূর্ণ ধনুকের মত। তাদের আধিকারিকরা তলোয়ারের আঘাতে মারা যাবে, তার কারণ তাদের জিভের দাম্ভিকতা। মিশর দেশে এটা তাদের জন্য উপহাসের বিষয় হবে।
