Hosea 3

1 Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of [her] friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.

೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು, ದೀಪದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೆಯ ಅಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ನೀನು ಜಾರನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಿಯಳೂ, ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಾಸಕ್ತಳೂ ಆದ ಹೆಂಗಸನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಾ” ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

2 So I bought her to me for fifteen [pieces] of silver, and [for] an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:

೨ಆಗ ನಾನು ಹದಿನೈದು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಒಂದುವರೆ ಹೋಮೆರ್ ಜವೆಗೋದಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡೆನು.

3 And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for [another] man: so [will] I also [be] for thee.

೩ನಾನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ, “ನನಗಾಗಿ ಬಹು ದಿನಗಳು ತಾಳಿಕೊಂಡಿರು; ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ, ಯಾರೊಂದಿಗೂ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಮಾಡಬೇಡ. ನಾನು ಸಹ ನಿನ್ನವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾಸಿಸುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.

4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and [without] teraphim:

೪ಇದರಂತೆ ರಾಜಮುಖಂಡ, ಯಜ್ಞ, ಸ್ತಂಭ, ಏಫೋದು, ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳು ತಾಳಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವರು.

5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.

೫ಅನಂತರ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ರಾಜನಾದ ದಾವೀದನನ್ನೂ ಪುನಃ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸುವರು. ಹೌದು, ಅಂತ್ಯಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನೂ, ಆತನ ದಯೆಯನ್ನೂ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಪಡೆಯುವರು.
