Hebrews 13
1 Let brotherly love continue.
তোমরা ভাইবোনের মতো পরস্পরকে ভালোবেসে যাও।
2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
অতিথির সেবা করতে ভুলে যেয়ো না, কারণ তা করে কেউ কেউ না জেনে স্বর্গদূতদেরই সেবা করেছে।
3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; [and] them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
যারা কারারুদ্ধ আছে, সহবন্দি মনে করে তাদের স্মরণ করো। তোমরা নিজেরাই যেন কষ্টভোগ করছ, এরকম মনে করে যাদের প্রতি অন্যায় আচরণ করা হয়েছে, তাদের স্মরণ করো।
4 Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
বিবাহ-সম্পর্ককে সবারই সম্মান করা উচিত এবং বিবাহ-শয্যা শুচিশুদ্ধ রাখতে হবে। কারণ ব্যভিচারীদের ও অবৈধ-সংসর্গকারীদের বিচার ঈশ্বর করবেন।
5 [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
তোমাদের জীবন অর্থলালসা থেকে মুক্ত রেখো। তোমাদের যা আছে, তাতেই সন্তুষ্ট থেকো। কারণ ঈশ্বর বলেছেন, “আমি কখনও তোমাকে ছেড়ে দেব না, কখনও তোমায় পরিত্যাগ করব না।”
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
তাই আমরা আস্থার সঙ্গে বলতে পারি, “প্রভুই আমার সহায়, আমি ভীত হব না, মানুষ আমার কী করতে পারে?”
7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of [their] conversation.
যাঁরা তোমাদের কাছে ঈশ্বরের বাণী প্রচার করে গেছেন সেই নেতাদের স্মরণ করো। তাদের জীবনচর্যার পরিণাম সম্পর্কে বিবেচনা করো এবং তাদের বিশ্বাসের অনুকরণ করো।
যীশু খ্রীষ্ট কাল যেমন ছিলেন, আজও তেমনি আছেন এবং চিরকাল একই থাকবেন। (aiōn g165)
9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For [it is] a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
তোমরা বিভিন্ন ধরনের বিচিত্র শিক্ষায় বিপথে চালিত হোয়ো না। অনুগ্রহের দ্বারা আমাদের হৃদয়কে শক্তিশালী করাই ভালো, কোনো সংস্কারগত খাবার দিয়ে নয়, কারণ যারা তা ভোজন করে, তাদের কাছে এর কোনো মূল্য নেই।
10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
আমাদের এক যজ্ঞবেদি আছে, যা থেকে, যারা সমাগম তাঁবুর পরিচারক, তাদের ভোজন করার অধিকার নেই।
11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
মহাযাজক পাপমোচনের নৈবেদ্যস্বরূপ পশুর রক্ত মহাপবিত্র স্থানে বয়ে নিয়ে যান, কিন্তু সেগুলির দেহ শিবিরের বাইরে পুড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয়।
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
সেভাবে, যীশুও তাঁর রক্তের মাধ্যমে প্রজাদের পবিত্র করার জন্য নগরদ্বারের বাইরে মৃত্যুবরণ করেছেন।
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
তাহলে এসো, তিনি যে অপমান সহ্য করেছিলেন, তা বহন করে আমরা শিবিরের বাইরে তাঁর কাছে যাই।
14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
কারণ এখানে আমাদের কাছে কোনো চিরস্থায়ী নগর নেই, কিন্তু আমরা সন্নিকট সেই নগরের প্রতীক্ষায় আছি।
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of [our] lips giving thanks to his name.
অতএব এসো, যীশুর মাধ্যমে আমরা ঈশ্বরের কাছে অবিরাম প্রশংসার বলি উৎসর্গ করি—তা হল তাঁর নাম স্বীকার করা আমাদের ঠোঁটের ফল।
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
আর অপরের উপকার ও অন্যদের সঙ্গে তোমাদের সম্পদ ভাগ করার কথা ভুলে যেয়ো না, কারণ এ ধরনের বলিদানেই ঈশ্বর সন্তুষ্ট হন।
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that [is] unprofitable for you.
তোমাদের নেতাদের নির্দেশ মেনে চলো ও তাদের কর্তৃত্বের বশ্যতাধীন হও। যাদের জবাবদিহি করতে হবে, এমন মানুষের মতো তাঁরা তোমাদের প্রতি সতর্ক দৃষ্টি রাখেন। তাঁদের আদেশ পালন করো, যেন তাদের কাজ আনন্দদায়ক হয়, বোঝাস্বরূপ না হয়, তা না হলে, তা তোমাদের পক্ষে লাভজনক হবে না।
18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
আমাদের জন্য প্রার্থনা করো। আমরা সুনিশ্চিত যে, আমাদের এক পরিচ্ছন্ন বিবেক আছে এবং আমরা সব বিষয়ে সম্মানজনক জীবনযাপন করার আকাঙ্ক্ষা করি।
19 But I beseech [you] the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
আমি তোমাদের বিশেষভাবে প্রার্থনা করার জন্য অনুনয় করি, যেন আমি শীঘ্রই তোমাদের কাছে আবার ফিরে যেতে পারি।
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, (aiōnios g166)
শান্তির ঈশ্বর, যিনি অনন্ত সন্ধিচুক্তির রক্তের মাধ্যমে আমাদের প্রভু যীশুকে মৃতলোক থেকে পুনরায় উত্থাপিত করেছেন, মেষপালের সেই মহান পালরক্ষক, (aiōnios g166)
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
তাঁর ইচ্ছা পালনের উদ্দেশে তোমাদের সব উত্তম উপকরণে সুসজ্জিত করুন এবং তাঁর কাছে যা প্রীতিকর, তা যীশু খ্রীষ্টের মাধ্যমে আমাদের অন্তরে সম্পন্ন করুন। যুগে যুগে চিরকাল তাঁর মহিমা কীর্তিত হোক। আমেন! (aiōn g165)
22 And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
ভাইবোনেরা, তোমাদের অনুনয় করি, আমার এই উপদেশবাণী সহ্য করো, কারণ আমি তোমাদের কাছে একটি সংক্ষিপ্ত পত্র লিখেছি মাত্র।
23 Know ye that [our] brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.
আমি চাই, তোমরা জেনে নাও যে, আমাদের ভাই তিমথিকে মুক্তি দেওয়া হয়েছে। তিনি যদি শীঘ্র আসেন, তোমাদের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করার জন্য আমি তাঁর সঙ্গে যাব।
24 Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.
তোমাদের সব নেতা ও ঈশ্বরের সমস্ত পবিত্রগণকে শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়ো। ইতালির সকলেও তোমাদের শুভেচ্ছা জানাচ্ছেন।
25 Grace [be] with you all. Amen.
অনুগ্রহ তোমাদের সবারই সহবর্তী হোক।
