< Hebrews 10 >

1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, [and] not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
Anaa awipeek taw ak law hly kawi ik-oeih leek ang myihlip ni – ik-oeih a tang tang hlan hyn ni. Cedawngawh, hyihphumnaak sai khawi kum qoek awh a boet qoe kaana sainaak ak caming Khawsa bawk aham ak lawkhqi ce ityk awh awm am soep sak thai kaw.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
A soep sak thai mantaw, ik-oeih ami suum quiqah ce qoeng hawh kawm u man, my? Khawsa ak bawk thlangkhqi ce hypoet na ciim kang kawm usaw, thawlhnaak awh ngaihseetnaak am ta voel kawm uh.
3 But in those [sacrifices there is] a remembrance again [made] of sins every year.
Cehlai cawhkaw lucik sainaakkhqi cetaw kum qoek awh thawlhnaak ak sim sak kqoeng mai ni,
4 For [it is] not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
Ikawtih vaitaw ingkaw me a thi ing thawlhnaak ce ceh pyi aham am coeng thai hy.
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
Cedawngawh Khrih ing khawmdek awh a law awh: “Lucik ingkaw ik-oeih suum ce nang ing am ngaih hyk ti cehlai kai aham na qoekbah hyt pum ce ni;
6 In burnt offerings and [sacrifices] for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
hyih phum suumnaak ingkaw thawlh suumnaakkhqi awh nak kaw am law hy.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me, ) to do thy will, O God.
Cedawngawh kai ing, ‘kai vawh awm nyng kai akawng ni cazawl awh ana qee – Aw Khawsa, nak kawngaih sai aham law hawh nyng” tinawh anak kqawn hy.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and [offering] for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure [therein]; which are offered by the law;
Lamma cyk awh, Lucik sainaak ingkaw ik-oeih suumnaak khqi hyihphumnaak ingkaw thawlh ik-oeih suumnaakkhqi ce am ngaih tiksaw, cekkhqi awh ce nak kaw am hoet hy,” (ce mihkhqi ce sai aham anaa awi ingtaw ngoe hy) tinawh kqawn hy.
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
Cekcoengawh, Vawh awm nyng, nak kawngaih sai aham law hawh nyng,” ti bai hy. Ahih voeinaak ce dyih sak aham ak cyk awhkaw ce ak chang na tahy.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once [for all].
Cawhkaw kawngaihnaak ak caming, hypoet ak khoek koeng na thlang boeih aham Jesu Khrih, a pum lucik na sainaak ak caming ningnih boeih taw ni ciim hawh uhy.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
Khawnghi hypoet coeng hypoet khawsoeih boeih ing dyi nawh beeknaak ben bibi ce sai hy; ityk awh awm thawlhnaak amak ceh pyi thai a sai khawi lucik ce suum bai suum bai hy.
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
Cehlai vawhkaw khawsoeih ingkaw thawlh lucik ce ak khoek koeng na a suum coengawh taw, Pa tang benawh ce ngawi hy.
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
Cawhkawng a qaal ce a khawk kaina a taaknaak tym ce qeh hy,
14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Ikawtih lucik hypoet a sainaak ak caming amah ing a ciim sak thlangkhqi aham kumqui dyna soep hawh hy.
15 [Whereof] the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
Ciim Myihla ingawm vawhkaw ik-oeih ve ningnih a venawh ni sim sak khqi hy. Lamma cyk awh:
16 This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
Cek coeng awhtaw vawhkaw awikamnaak ve a mingmih a venawh sai kawng nyng, tinawh Bawipa ing kqawn hy. A mingmih ak kawlung khuiawh ka anaa awikhqi ce taak pe kawng nyngsaw, amik kawlungkhqi ak khuiawh qee pe kawng nyng,” tinawh.
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
Cekkhqi a thawlhnaak ingkaw khawboe seetnaak khqi ce am sim pe hly voel nyng,” ti bai hy.
18 Now where remission of these [is, there is] no more offering for sin.
Thawlh qeenkhaw ngainaak a awmnaak hoei awh, thawlh lucik am awm voel kaw.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
Cedawngawh, koeinaakhqi, Jesu a thi ak caming Hun Ciim Khyt awh kun thainaak ce ni taak hawh dawngawh,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
ak thai ingkaw ak hqing lam amah a pum hi zan ce awng law hawh hy,
21 And [having] an high priest over the house of God;
Khawsa ipkhui awh khawsoeih ak bau ce ni taak hawh dawngawh,
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
cangnaak ypnaak kawlung tang Khawsa ce zoe lah u sih, ningnih ak kawlung ce thawlh simnaak awhkawng ciimnaak aham syp unawh ningnih a pum awm tuihciim ing sil lah u sih.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised; )
Ngaih-unaak ni taak ce ang thoeih kaana tu khak u sih, kawtih awi ak takung ce a ypawm hy.
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Lungnaak ing ik-oeih leek sainaak benawh pynoet ingkaw pynoet ikawmyihna nu tha ning peek qu lah voei tice poek u sih.
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Huh cunnaak ve koeh hlah phlam u sih, thlang pynoet ingtaw hlah phlam uhy, cehlai ningnih taw pynoet ingkaw pynoet tha pe qu lah u sih – Khawnghi a zoe hawh dawngawh tha hlynaak ing sai khqoet khqoet u sih.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Awitak cyihnaak ni huh coengawh awm ni thawlh bak bak mantaw, thawlh lucik ce am awm voel kaw,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
cehlai Khrih awm awidengnaak ingkaw Khawsa qaal a uihnaak hly mai kqawng doeng ni a awm hawh hy.
28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
U awm Mosi a anaa awi ak eek taw thlang pakkhih pakthum a simpyinaak ing qeennaak a awm voel kaana thihnaak ce hu hy.
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Cawhtaw Khawsa Capa ce khaw ing ak leh, lucik na a sai a thi ce amak ciim na poek nawh, qeennaak Myihla ak thekhanaak thlang ak khqoet ce kawmih dyna nu kqih awm toelnaak a huh kaw tinawh nak poek?
30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance [belongeth] unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
Kawtih, Lu lawhnaak taw kai a koe ni; kai ing thung bit kawng,” tihy, cekcoengawh, “Bawipa ing ak thlangkhqi ce awi deng kaw,” ti bai hy.
31 [It is] a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Ak hqing Khawsa kut awh tlaak aham kqih awm soeih hy.
32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
Vangnaak nami huh coeng awhkaw khawnghikhqi ingkaw kyinaak a haiawh hat qunaak ak bau soeih ing naming dyih ce poek lah uh.
33 Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.
Ityk nyn awhtaw thekhanaak aham ingkaw khuikha sak aham qangpui a huh awh nik tun khqi uhy; ityk nyn awhtaw kyinaak ak hukhqi mi voei a vang awh dyi uhyk ti.
34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
Thawngim ak tla thlangkhqi ce qeen u tiksaw, ak leek bet ingkaw kumqui dy ak cak kawn ta uhyk ti tice nami sim awh nami ik-oeihkhqi a mini qawt law awh zeel doena dun uhyk ti.
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
Cedawngawh ypawmnaak nami taak ce koeh khawng valh uh; cawhtaw kutdo ak bau soeih hu kawm uk ti.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
Khawsak kawngaih nami sai coengawh yhnaak nami taak aham awm hy, amah ak awitaak amyihna hu bit kawm uk ti.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
Kawlhkalh awh, Ak law hly kawi thlang ce ang yih kaa qoe na law hawh kaw.
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if [any man] draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Cehlai kak thlakdyng taw cangnaak ing hqing kaw. Ahu na ang thoeih awhtaw, ak khanawh zeelnaak qoe am ta kawng nyng.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Cehlai ningnih taw hu na ak thoeih nawh ak plawci thlang na amni awm uhy. Cangna nawh hulna ak awm thlangkhqi na ni awm uhy.
