< Galatians 4 >

1 Now I say, [That] the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
Ibagbagak nga agingga nga ubing pay ti agtawid, saan isuna a naiduma iti tagabu, uray pay isuna ti akinkukua iti amin a sanikua.
2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
Ngem ketdi, adda pay laeng isuna iti tengngel ti mangay-aywan ken mataltalek inggana iti tiempo nga ituding ti amana.
3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
Kasta met kadatayo, idi ubbingtayo, naibaludtayo kadagiti nainlubongan a sursuro.
4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Ngem idi nadanonen ti umisu a tiempo, imbaon ti Dios ti Anakna, nga inyanak iti babai, a naiyanak babaen iti linteg.
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Inaramidna daytoy tapno subbotenna dagiti adda iti babaen iti linteg, tapno mabalin a maawattayonto iti pannakaampon kas an-annak a lallaki.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Gapu ta dakayo dagiti annak a lallaki, imbaon ti Dios ti Espiritu ti Anakna kadagiti puspusotayo, ti Espiritu nga umaw-awag iti, “Abba, Ama.”
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Iti daytoy a rason, saankayon a tagabu no di ket anak. No dakayo ket anak, maibilangkayo metten nga agtawid babaen iti Dios.
8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
Ngem idi, idi saanyo pay nga am-ammo ti Dios, tagabunakayo dagiti saan pulos a dios.
9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
Ngem ita ta am-ammoyon ti Dios, wenno ita ta naam-ammonakayon ti Dios, apay nga agsubsublikayo manen iti nakapsut ken awan pategna a nainlubongan a sursuro? Kayatyo kadi manen ti agbalin a tagabu?
10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
Siaannad a paliiwenyo dagiti naisangsangayan nga al-aldaw, dagiti baro a bulan, dagiti panawen ken tawtawen.
11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
Mabutengak para kadakayo. Mabutengak nga amangan no awan serserbina ti panagrigatko para kadakayo.
12 Brethren, I beseech you, be as I [am]; for I [am] as ye [are]: ye have not injured me at all.
Agpakpakaasiak kadakayo kakabsat, agbalinkayo a kas kaniak, ta nagbalinak met a kas kadakayo. Awan ti inaramidyo a dakes kaniak.
13 Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
Ngem ammoyo a gapu iti napisikalan a sakit nga inwaragawagko ti ebanghelio kadakayo iti umuna a gundaway.
14 And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, [even] as Christ Jesus.
Uray no inyegnakayo ti napisikalan a kasaaadko iti pannakasuot, saandak nga inumsi wenno linaksid. Ngem ketdi inawatdak a kas anghel ti Dios, a kas siak mismo ni Jesus-Cristo.
15 Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if [it had been] possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
Ngarud, sadino ita ti kinaragsakyo? Ta paneknekak kadakayo a, no mabalin a sinukilyo koman dagiti matayo ken itedyo kaniak.
16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
Ket ngarud, nagbalinak kadi a kabusoryo gapu ta imbagak ti kinapudno kadakayo?
17 They zealously affect you, [but] not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.
Sireregtada a mangbirok kadakayo, ngem saan a maipaay iti nasayaat. Kayat dakayo nga isina kaniak tapno surutenyo ida.
18 But [it is] good to be zealously affected always in [a] good [thing], and not only when I am present with you.
Kankanayon a nasayaat ti agbalin a naregget para kadagiti nasayaat a rasrason, ket saan laeng a no addaak kadakayo.
19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
Annakko nga ub-ubbing, agsagsagabaak manen iti ut-ot ti panagpasikal para kadakayo inggana a mabukel ni Cristo kadakayo.
20 I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.
Kayatko ti makikaadda kadakayo ita ken sukatak ti timekko, gapu ta mariribukanak maipapan kadakayo.
21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
Ibagayo kaniak, dakayo nga agtarigagay a paiturayan iti linteg, saanyo kadi a mangmangngeg ti ibagbaga ti linteg?
22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
Ta naisurat nga adda dua nga annak a lallaki ni Abraham, ti maysa ket anak ti tagabu a babai ken ti maysa ket anak ti babai a siwayawaya.
23 But he [who was] of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman [was] by promise.
No pay kasta, naipasngay laeng babaen iti lasag ti anak iti tagabu, ngem naipasngay babaen iti kari ti anak iti siwayawaya a babai.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
Mabalin a maipalawag dagitoy a banbanag babaen iti panangus-usar iti panangiyarig, ta kasla dua a tulag dagitoy a dua a babbai. Ti maysa kadakuada ket manipud iti bantay Sinai. Mangipaspasngay isuna kadagiti annak a tagabu, daytoy ket ni Agar.
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
Ita, naiyarig ni Agar ti Bantay Sinai iti Arabia. Isimsimbulona ti agdama a Jerusalem, ta adda isuna iti pannakatagabo a kaduana dagiti an-annakna.
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Ngem siwayawaya ti Jerusalem nga adda iti ngato, dayta ket, ti inatayo.
27 For it is written, Rejoice, [thou] barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
Ta naisurat, “Agrag-oka, sika a baog a babai, sika a saan a makaanak. Agpukkaw ken agragsakka iti rag-o, sika a saan a makapadas iti panagsikog. Ta adu dagiti anak ti baog, ad-adu ngem kadagiti annak iti babai nga addaan iti asawa.”
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
Ita, dakayo kakabsat, kasla ken Isaac, dakayo ket anak ti kari.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him [that was born] after the Spirit, even so [it is] now.
Iti dayta a tiempo, indadanes ti naiyanak iti lasag ti naiyanak sigun iti Espiritu. Kasta met laeng ita.
30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
Ania ti ibaga ti Nasantoan a Sursurat? “Papanawenyo ti tagabu a babai ken ti anakna. Ta saanto a makipagtawid ti anak ti tagabu a babai iti anak ti siwayawaya a babai.”
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
Ngarud, kakabsat, saantayo nga annak ti tagabu a babai, ngem ketdi annnaknatayo ti siwayawaya a babai.
