Ezekiel 42
1 Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that [was] over against the separate place, and which [was] before the building toward the north.
Darnach führte er mich in den äußern Vorhof hinaus in der Richtung nach Mitternacht und brachte mich zu den Kammern, welche gegenüber dem abgegrenzten Raum und gegenüber dem Gebäude gegen Norden lagen,
2 Before the length of an hundred cubits [was] the north door, and the breadth [was] fifty cubits.
vor die hundert Ellen betragende Längsseite mit Eingang gegen Norden; die Breite betrug fünfzig Ellen.
3 Over against the twenty [cubits] which [were] for the inner court, and over against the pavement which [was] for the utter court, [was] gallery against gallery in three [stories].
Gegenüber den zwanzig Ellen des innern Vorhofs und gegenüber dem Steinpflaster, das zum äußern Vorhof gehörte, ragte eine Galerie unter der andern hervor, dreifach übereinander.
4 And before the chambers [was] a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.
Vor den Kammern war ein zehn Ellen breiter Gang; in das Innere aber führte ein Weg von einer Elle, und ihre Türen waren auf der Nordseite.
5 Now the upper chambers [were] shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.
Die obersten Kammern aber waren schmäler als die untern und mittleren des Baues, weil die Galerien ihnen einen Teil vom Raum wegnahmen.
6 For they [were] in three [stories], but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore [the building] was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.
Denn sie standen dreifach übereinander und hatten nicht Säulen wie die Säulen der Vorhöfe, darum waren sie schmäler als die untern und mittleren, vom Boden an.
7 And the wall that [was] without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof [was] fifty cubits.
Und die äußere Mauer, welche (den Kammern entsprechend) gegen den äußern Vorhof hinlief, war fünfzig Ellen lang.
8 For the length of the chambers that [were] in the utter court [was] fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple [were] an hundred cubits.
Denn die Länge der Kammern, die nach dem äußern Vorhof zu lagen, betrug fünfzig Ellen; und siehe, gegenüber dem Tempel waren es hundert Ellen.
9 And from under these chambers [was] the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.
Und unterhalb dieser Kammern befand sich der östliche Eingang, wenn man vom äußern Vorhof her zu ihnen kam.
10 The chambers [were] in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.
An der Breitseite der Mauer des Vorhofs gegen Osten, vor dem Hofraum und dem Gebäude, waren auch Kammern.
11 And the way before them [was] like the appearance of the chambers which [were] toward the north, as long as they, [and] as broad as they: and all their goings out [were] both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.
Und ein Weg war vor ihnen, gleich demjenigen bei den Kammern gegen Norden, von gleicher Länge und gleicher Breite, und alle ihre Ausgänge, Einrichtungen und Türen waren gleich.
12 And according to the doors of the chambers that [were] toward the south [was] a door in the head of the way, [even] the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.
Und gleich den Türen der Kammern, welche gegen Mittag lagen, war eine Tür am Anfang des Weges, nämlich des Weges der geraden Mauer entlang, gegen Osten, wo man hineinkam.
13 Then said he unto me, The north chambers [and] the south chambers, which [are] before the separate place, they [be] holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place [is] holy.
Und er sprach zu mir: Die Kammern gegen Norden und die Kammern gegen Süden, gegenüber dem Hofraum, sind heilige Kammern, in welchen die Priester, die vor dem HERRN dienen, das Hochheilige essen sollen; daselbst sollen sie das Hochheilige und das Speisopfer und das Sündopfer und das Schuldopfer niederlegen; denn es ist ein heiliger Ort.
14 When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy [place] into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they [are] holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to [those things] which [are] for the people.
Wenn die Priester hineingegangen sind, sollen sie nicht aus dem Heiligtum in den äußern Vorhof hinaustreten, sondern sollen daselbst ihre Kleider, in denen sie gedient haben, ablegen, weil sie heilig sind, und sie sollen andere Kleider anziehen, um sich mit dem zu befassen, was das Volk angeht.
15 Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect [is] toward the east, and measured it round about.
Als er nun das innere Haus fertig ausgemessen hatte, führte er mich durch das Tor gegen Osten hinaus und maß [den Bau] von außen, den ganzen Umfang.
16 He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.
Er maß die Ostseite mit der Meßrute: 500 Ruten, nach der Meßrute, ringsum.
17 He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.
Er maß die Nordseite: 500 Ruten, mit der Meßrute, ringsum.
18 He measured the south side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed.
Er maß die Südseite mit der Meßrute: 500 Ruten.
19 He turned about to the west side, [and] measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.
Dann ging er herum nach der Westseite und maß 500 Ruten mit der Meßrute.
20 He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred [reeds] long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.
Also maß er nach allen vier Winden. Und es war eine Mauer ringsherum: 500 Meßruten lang und 500 Meßruten breit, um das Heiligtum vom Gemeinen zu trennen.
