< Colossians 1 >
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus [our] brother,

2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Khritaw üng yümmatnak üng sitihkia ka nglawipüi, Kolawte mlüha veki Pamhnama khyange: mi Pa Pamhnam naw bäkhäknak ja dimdeihnak ning jah pe se.
3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
Nami phäh kami ktaiyü üng mi Bawipa Jesuh Khritawa Pa üng aläa jenak kami mthehkie.
4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love [which ye have] to all the saints,
Pamhnama khyange nami jah mhläkphyanak ja Khritaw Jesuh üng nami jumeinak kami ngjaka phäh ni.
5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
Ngthu kcang, Thangkdaw nami veia a pha law kcük üng, äpeinak a ning jah peta mawng nami ngja pängki. Nami jumeinak ja mhläkphyanak cun khankhawa ning jah üpawmsak khai tia nami äpeinaka khana veki.
6 Which is come unto you, as [it is] in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as [it doth] also in you, since the day ye heard [of it], and knew the grace of God in truth:
Thangkdaw naw dawkyanak lawpüi lü, Pamhnama bäkhäknaka mawng nami ngjak kcük ua mhnüp üng cutei lü, acun cun akcang ni tia nami ksing law ua mäiha, khawmdek lum üng ngthang hüki.
7 As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
Mi nghngün üng Khritawa khut pawhki, mi mpyapüi u, Epapharah üngkhyüh Pamhnama bäkhäknak nami ngtheingthangkie.
8 Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.
Ngmüimkhya naw a ning jah peta ngmüimkhya mhläkphyanak nami tak pi ani naw jah mthehki.
9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard [it], do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
Nami thang kami ngjak üngkhyüh cutei lü alä se kami ning jah ktaiyü petkie ni. A Ngmüimkhya Ngcim naw a ning jah peta themngvainak ja pungngyam üngkhyüh a mlung hlü ksingnak thei a ning jah pet vaia Pamhnama veia kami ning jah ktaiyü petkie ni.
10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Acun käna Bawipaa a hlüeia xüngsei lü ani jesak khaia khut aläa pawh u lü, dawkyakia khut mjüküm bilawh lü Pamhnam ksingnak üng nami dämduh law vai ua ning jah ktaiyü pet ni.
11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Ania hlüngtaikia johit üngka naw lawkia ngjuktha am kyansai u lü, acunüng ahmäi naküt mlung msaü lü nami dunei khawh khaie.
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
A khyangea phäh Pamhnama Khawa a jah tak pet nami yah hnga khaia ning jah pyangki Pa Pamhnam cun jekyai na ua.
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Anghmüpa johit üngka naw jah küikyan lü a mhlänak a Cakpaa khawa jah phasaki.
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins:
Acuna cakpaa phäh üng mi mkhyekate naküt jah mhlät se lätlangnak mi yahkie.
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Khritaw cun am hmuh thei Pamhnam hmuhnak theia kyaki ni. Ani cun a ca kcüka thawn lü mhnünceng naküt luma kthaka hlüngtai säihki ni.
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Pamhnam naw khankhawa veki ja khawmdeka veki naküte, hmuh thei ja am hmuh theie, ngmüimkhya johite, bawie ja khyaihnak khawhe naküt cun Ani üngkhyüh a jah tüipyang ni. Pamhnam naw mce ja khan hin Ani üngkhyüh mhnünceng lü Ania phäh a tüipyang ni.
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Khritaw cun anaküt am a mhnünceng ham üngkhyüh a na ve päng lü, anaküt cun pi ani am atänga awmki he.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence.
Ani cun sangcim tia pumsaa lupum ni. Ani cun a pumsaa xünnak ahnuna pi kyaki. Ani cun Ca-kcük säiha kyaki, ahmäi naküt kthaka amät däk a hlüngtai säih vaia thihnak üngka naw mthawh be ma kcüki kyaki.
19 For it pleased [the Father] that in him should all fulness dwell;
Mhnama ning naküt a cakpa üng a kümbe cun Pamhnam amäta mkhyaha kyaki.
20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, [I say], whether [they be] things in earth, or things in heaven.
Acun käna khawmdeknu hin a Cakpa üngkhyüh amäta veia a lawpüi be vaia Pamhnam naw ngja hlüki. Pamhnam naw kutlamktung üng thiki a Cakpaa thisen üngkhyüh ng’yenak pawh päng lü khawmdek ja khankhaw üng veki naküt pi amäta veia a lawpüi be.
21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in [your] mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
Ahlana nami bilawh ja nami cungngaih am daw se Pamhnam üng thuk lü a yea nami kya khawikie.
22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
Acunsepi atuh ta, Pamhnam naw a cakpaa thihnaka phäh üng a ning jah ng’yäppüi be hin, ngcimngcaih lü mkatei vai käh ve ti khaia amäta veia a ning jah lawpüi be ni.
23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and [be] not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, [and] which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Nami jumeinak ngkhäng lü nami leh ngkhän cäm se. Thangkdaw nami ngjak üng nami yaha äpeinak käh thäihngnawn ta kawm uki. Khawmdek khyang naküt üng ami mtheha hina thangkdawa phäh ni kei Pawluh pi mpyaa ka thawn law.
24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:
Nangmia phäh khuikhanak ka khamei hin jekyai veng. Khritaw naw a pumsa sangcima nghngün üng a khamei mcawt a kümceinak vaia kei naw ka pumsa am ka khameipüiki.
25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
Khawkphyüm üngkhyüh tuh vei cäpa thupviha kya kyaw lüpi, tuhngawi üng ta a khyange üng jah mdana hlüngtaikia Pamhnama thangkdaw cun avana sang khaia, ahin khut a na pet hin nangmia dawnak vaia, kei cun Pamhnam naw sangcima mpyaa a na thawnsak ni. (aiōn )
26 [Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: (aiōn )
27 To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Mhnama ngjak hlü cun a khyangea phäha ngthup lü hlüngtainak ja bawimangnak cun a khyangea veia a jah mdan hlüa kyaki. Acuna khawh ngthup cun nami k’uma veki hlüngtaiki Khritaw ni. Acuna mawngma ta Pamhnama hlüngtainak nami yah hngaki tinak ni.
28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
Acunakyase, Khritawa ngthu khyang naküt üng kami jah mthehki. Pungngyam mjüküm am jah mcuhmcäi lü khyang naküt Pamhnama maa Khritaw üng yümmat lü xüxamkia kba ami kya law vaia, khyang naküt kami jah mtheimthangkie ni.
29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
Ahin ka kpäng vaia, ka k’uma khüiki Khritaw naw a na peta ngjuktha am mthui lü ka khüiki.
